At the base of the Santa Rosa mountains, we’re five miles from Empire Polo Club, home of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals. Joshua Tree National Park is 30 miles away. Our resort's 45 verdant acres offer 41 climate-controlled pools, 21 tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, and a full-treatment spa. Enjoy nearby golfing and hiking and biking trails. We serve unique experiences and freshly prepared foods. Taste our regional Mexican cuisine, Coachella Valley bounty, modern American dishes, and eye-catching cocktails. The on-site spa focuses on enhancing health and beauty. We have a private garden bath and will help you with pranayama in a Zen Ritual. The signature facial uses a desert blend of oils, and our nail polish is made from vegan ingredients. Relax in the outdoor lounge.

Favorite place to come relax and this time we got to join a walking tour of the grounds. Our guide Phil was amazing! After 15+ years of coming to La Quinta Resort I thought I knew everything about this place. Phil taught us so much more, it was worth the walk! Thank you La Quinta Resort and Phil.

I am a titanium elite Marriott member with only Silver status at Hilton. I had some points and wanted to experience what seemed to be this beautiful place— I had seen it on the website. I called beforehand to ask a few questions as I travel a lot and wanted to be sure there were spots for adults only and that it wasn’t primarily a family resort. ADRIAN, and incredibly kind, competent, knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and fantastic Front Desk Manager (I think that’s what he is) could not have been more brilliant and patient in answering my questions. I explained to Adrienne that I owned an education company and that these were interesting/challenging times that I needed a break from everything that goes on this time of year and that my partner was going through a lot of personal changes and that a little vacation was in order. We drove down from Los Angeles and arrived to find that we had been upgraded to an incredible one bedroom suite that has a personal hot tub in the backyard— which stares straight up at the gorgeous mountain of Palm Desert rock that gets that sweet pink glow just before sunset. We had our first meal at the Adobe Grill and did not eat anywhere else over the three days we were there. The manager of the grill, ERIC, is just about as good as it gets walking around and making sure every one of the 80+ patrons were happy. He was jovial and went out of his way to offer and then create delicious. Vegan options for us. He even went to another restaurant on the property to get vegan cheese and had the chef make us a stellar vegan quesadilla with some mushroom situation that grows on corn. It sounded pretty awful, but tasted pretty amazing. Every server at the Adobe Grill seems to really like their job and smiling at you must be a directive from Management. The entire property is astounding and all at one level, Spanish style rooms/bungalows and over 40 pools, all of which feel secluded in private. On the last day, we had the chance to experience THE PLUNGE, which is the adult only pool. Groovy music, no adorable kids screaming and playing, and wonderful smiling staff who bring yummy salads, watermelon, and drinks to your lounge chair under the sun. The valet guys, the Bellmen, and the guy and girl at the tennis center also had big smiles and warm spirits. MARIA who runs that Front Desk overnight is wonderful and when I was up super early at five in the morning and went to hang out in the lobby to get some work done, we struck up lovely conversation and she made me feel as though I had been coming there forever. The most Remarkable thing was that two days later after Adrian the manager returned to work from a few sick days off, he called me on my cell phone to check in and make sure I had a good stay and that everything worked out for us. I’ve been traveling over 30 weeks a year for the last decade with my work and this is the very first time I ever received a phone call from a hotel manager at any level asking about my stay. I was really blown away. I’m already planning my next visit and can’t wait to get down there in this brutally hot “off-season” so I have every excuse to be submerged in one of those yummy pools!!!

Mina and Jenna opened even though they were closing and had everything I needed at the register. Honestly saved me! So nice and helpful!!

Very good value room, family pool and grounds. Casual restaurants were mediocre (food, service) at best, especially for the price.

Gigi in the spa was amazing. I had a bath treatment. It included orange essence bubble bath, 4 bath bombs, fruit, water and a glass of frose (frozen rose wine). The bath was outside in a private area and next to the zen garden. It was very relaxing.

Great service, clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with 2 sinks. We stayed at La Quinta Resort and Spa. The grounds are stunning with all color of flowers. Food is great, all meals. Our only complaint would be parking. It is very minimal where your villa is located. There is parking lot available but not very close. The spa is also a great place with good therapists. -Dawn D.
