Had a lovely stay, peaceful and quiet. All our needs taken care of. The off season program was very generous, will take advantage of this deal again. The grounds are lovely and the casitas make you feel like you have your own little private house.

My family and I had an amazing family weekend and part of it was because we chose La Quinta. It is huge resort so of course we got lost going to are room. We asked for help and sure enough they not only helped us find are room but took us to it. Check in/check out was easy because we had checked in on line. Price was reasonable and amazing room and balcony. Swimming pool was clean but the bad thing was the bar at the main pool was closed.

La Quinta in the middle of the summer...what ever were we thinking? We thought we wouldn't mind a little heat but 114 degrees- really? "You fool"! you are thinking. You had to have known you were heading for an inferno! No sympathy for you! Now I can't hold the resort responsible for the weather but they can take some responsibility for how they handle it. How about some covered carport parking so your sun glasses won't melt in your passenger seat? Some misters to throw off comforting mist in the bar and restaurant areas? More umbrellas in the pool areas and water jugs At the main pools? Now it's true we got a good deal on the rate. How else are they going to get people out there? But we were disappointed with the condition of the property. Sections are very tired and in need of sprucing up. Rooms in the "old" section have passed old and charming and now are just plain old. The spa is just OK and the regular lobby was under renovation. The Adobe restaurant was fun and lively but vastly understaffed. The Twenty 7 restaurant was as coffee shop as they come. Maybe if we weren't so darn hot we might have been less cranky and critical but this property needs some attention and we hope that it gets it because it could be great! But never in the summer.

DO NOT STAY HEREšŸ‘ŽšŸ» Before we booked our weekend getaway we researched 4-5 star hotels in the surrounding Palm Springs area. We chose La Quinta due to their reviews. Upon arriving at the Hotel around 5pm, their lobby was under construction and had to wait in a long line to check in. The man who checked us in had no personality. Once we got in our room, we realized we didn't get the room we booked directly through hotel website. The room we specified was for separate bath tub and shower. We called the front desk and Brandon answered , front desk manager, who was rude and said nothing was available and we would have to wait the next day for a room like we specified. This was unacceptable. He proceeded to schedule us a check out because we weren't happy and unwilling to accommodate us!! He proceeded to say the online website is to blame for the poor attitude!! Beware when booking a room that you want because their website and room descriptions are deceiving and the personnel are the pits. We proceeded to the lobby to checkout after 30 minutes. Finally, we found two customer oriented professionals. I spoke with Nate at the lobby who was professional and a problem solver. He was trying to find us a room that we booked. We found the room we original asked for two hours later!!! After , being in the room we noticed the toilet was dirty and we called in to get in cleaned. One positive note: we enjoyed the spa and massage on Saturday. We came back to our room 5pm and of course the room was not cleaned. We had a bite to eat at Twenty 6 and the bartender was anti-social. Food was below average for the price $$$. We called for room service and the order was wrong. The pool area outside our room had a pool party until 2am in the morning and I called security so I can sleep. Then, we checked out and waited in line for a long time. We expressed our displeasure with customer service, facilities and our overall stay as a negative experience. What we got in return were excuses and pointing fingers at hotel management transition. We will be expressing our displeasure to this resort via social media. We wouldn't want other guests to experience what we experienced, after spending 1300 dollars for a 2 night stay.

Good bang for buck, lots of construction going on, should have advertised that, main pool was not operating normally. The pools were chilled normally. The restaurants had very limited operating hours, so we ended up going out to town.
