I was looking forward to this stay and had great expectations, however for a Waldorf property it was not what I thought it would be. As beautiful as the grounds are many areas seemed a bit run down. The size of our deluxe casistas was perfect, the fire place attractive but the bathroom needed an update. Lighting was limited, shower door was tired looking and the room did not contain a full length mirror. As gold members we received a list of ammentites available to us. However there was a continental breakfast listed... no longer available and the waters in the room daily also didn’t happen. Not that this makes a big difference but it’s sometimes the little items that add up that create a negative feeling. In our area the pool was not heated which seemed to be the only one out of 41 pools, again not a deal breaker but we should have been informed. I did schedule a spa treatment and again some updating of the area is very much needed. Many of the staff we came in contact with were wonderful! Full of positive engergy and true kindness (all of the front desk, the greeters at the enrterance, the staff at Twenty6) but then there were others that where very much removed in their attitudes. (Our waitress at Adobe grill and the front desk at the spa). All in all it was a good stay but sometimes when you get a chance for a quick get away...you want that special attention and I did not experience that on this visit.

I am sorry, I don’t see the value here... I flew in from Philly and got in late last night and went to the lobby to check in and was given a map to my room. I got lost trying to find it and I couldn’t get anyone to help me. I drove and walked around for 20 minutes trying to find my darn room. I asked several staff where room 751 was and once I was given wrong directions and another the person said they didn’t know??? I wish the person at the front desk had someone show me. After flying in from Philly and driving from LA to here... it was insane just trying to get into my room. And when I finally did make it, I was seriously disappointed. The rooms are antiquated! Very out dated. I was shocked at how much they charge for this place and then same goes for the grounds. Most of it seems and feels out dated. I would never pay to stay at this place nor would I ever bring my family here.

My husband and I were so happy to have found this gem!! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting outside at the restaurants, soaking up the sun and having a few cocktails. The restaurants are lively and fun. We thought the employees were so friendly. Our favorite part of our stay were the tennis courts. They are beautiful! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful place on earth.

This property had outstanding reviews, I felt like I needed to stay here during my trip. At time of check in, the agent did not even welcome us to the property nor greet us with a smile. We felt like an inconvenience to the agent. Nether less I still was looking forward to my stay. Then there was issue after issue at this property. Spoke with the manager on duty who did not make anything better. Terrible customer service for a high end, more expensive hotel. I am a loyal Hilton customer and will be residing at the Double Tree next time.

Charm means old buildings and outdated rooms here. Water pipe burst one morning and we had no running water. I was traveling with my 3month old son who needed to be washed and fed in the morning, but i couldn’t do that so that was hell. A hungry baby away from home, can you imagine? My dad next door was cool about it and made do by brushing his teeth with bottled water. But i could tell he was irked that he couldn’t shower after golf. No one on staff apologized to us for the inconvenience. It was horrible-definitely NOT a relaxing getaway as we had hoped. I emailed the manager but no response.
