I really should've reviewed the Resort years ago--as it is a favorite for a quick getaway but no matter where you live, you should visit once--at least! Beautiful historic Resort...always impeccable & staff is very hospitable. It just feels like old California when you make that turn into the long gorgeous driveway. Artfully well kept grounds; we love walking around after dinner, my husband loves to golf here too. Restaurants are terrific & our fave is the steak house Morgan's. Beautiful well thought out menu, wine list & specialty cocktails are on par as is the service. Rooms are terrific, no matter which one you prefer, private casitas or rooms around the numerous pools on the property. We love it at Christmas time too, beautiful tall decorated tree near the guest lobby by the plaza. Just lovely! It really is a desert oasis.

My husband and I went for a celebration of my retirement. We had a Spa Villa room, and it had a great little patio for lounging and enjoying the sun and a pool right outside our room. When we had an additional request to make our stay perfect, Kathy Stoker and Nate took great care of us! My favorite part of the days were breakfasts at the restaurant, sitting outside looking at the mountains and palms, drinking excellent coffee, and having great huevlos rancheros or Eggs Benedict. Loved walking the grounds... beautiful flowers in bloom. We will return!

The grounds are beautiful and the staff at the hotel are extremely pleasant and helpful. The only issue is that the rooms and pool areas are showing their age. For the name (Waldorf Astoria) and price, I would have expected more.

Stay here to enjoy all the best that Palm Springs has to offer. This hotel brings historic charm and modern luxury together. Great food. Large, comfortable rooms. Superb staff. Great restaurants and access to top level golf courses. We will keep coming back!!

We wanted a quick couples getaway before the blistering heat of Summer. Check-in process was smooth with very welcoming staff. We were given several location options on property, ended up choosing Casita with a patio facing North with view of Mountain. Plenty of room for 2 people. Both days we lounged poolside behind our bungalow. If you want a quiet environment, I would recommend choosing a more expensive room. We were surrounded by 20 year olds with Spring Break behavior. Loud, rude and Obnoxious. I expected better clientele for a resort of this price range. The yoga & fitness classes were great amenity. High recommend incorporating into your schedule. I have no review on dining options as we ate off-property all days of our stay. I would stay again, however, choosing mid-week stay hoping for quieter surroundings.
