Stayed here during the tennis tournament. Room was nice but very dated. went to use ball machine and they said not operating during tournament but yet courts were empty. i just think the girl at desk didnt want to be bothered. Food at morgans and other restuarants was delicious. We hear place is for sale, and the health club showed it. 2 of the machines werent working and the equipment was dated. No headphones and the tvs on the machines didnt work. Classes were excellent however.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a meeting. Since the tennis tournament was happening the hotel was extremely busy, but you didn’t notice it much since it’s so big. The hotel grounds are gigantic and if you’re into golf/tennis/lounging by the pool you’ll find a lot to do. If you are someone who likes being able to walk to the city or something close by this is not the hotel for you. There is not much around the resort so if you decide to stay here you’ll be about 30 min from downtown Palm Springs. The whole resort reminds you of a senior living facility that would have been around during the days of Three’s Company. They should have an app that has GPS so you can find your way around the resort since most people who work there don’t know how to get back to the lobby or restaurants. I stayed in the spa villas and the rooms are huge, but quite dated. Modern design conveniences like having a towel rod to hang up your towel in close proximity to the shower and outlets that you can access easily from your nightstand aren’t there. You will notice the absence of these small things especially if you stay in hotels frequently. They do have Ferragamo bath products so that’s a plus.

The property is beautiful. It had been 10 years since I had stayed at the resort and hosted a business convention of 150 people. Coming back this March to attend the tennis tournament we booked a 5 night stay. We ate in the mexican restaurant- really good food. Morgans, the upscale restaurant, was somewhat of a disappointment. The menu seemed limited and when we asked if there were dinner specials we were told no, because the update the menu every 4-6 weeks. Ok- sorry I asked. The rooms were nice and private as always but a bit dated but clean. What left us a bit disappointed were the room cleaning carts were left in front of our room for between 3 and 4 hours each afternoon. Walk out of the room and there was the cleaning cart. The other thing which was a disappointment were the dirty plates which someone stacked outside our room on top of a trash bin. This happened 3 times over 5 days. It took 2-5 hours for the staff to removed the dirty plates. Not our plates. If the staff walk the property they either did not see the plates or assumed someone else would pick them up. We called the front desk the first day to discuss some other issues but we felt it was unreasonable to have to call the front desk each day and complain. The large carts which go up and down the concrete walkways transporting things from food to room supplies are a distraction. They make too much noise. When we checked out at the front desk no one asked us about our stay. No opportunity to share our concerns. The last thing I want to do is ask for a manager and vent in front of other people checking in. The front desk gave us our bill very quickly and said good bye. Very efficient in moving us out. For such a nice property the room staff and the grounds staff are missing something. Maybe they have too much to do but I think it is usually an issue of inadequate training and or management training. I read some of the recent reviews and it appears some people have had the same experiences. We will be back and we hope these small issues are fixed. We especially enjoyed the outside bar near the fountain and the people parking cars are really nice.

I stayed In a privately owned villa 1688 that was gorgeous. Had blue barrique porcelain floors and high ceilings and custom furnishings. I booked it on VRBO 799152. Steps away from pool And Spa. Gorgeous. No allergens and stunning. Fresh flowers and chocolate. Stocked frig.

This is a huge property with villa like rooms. Each group of rooms has it's own pool and hot tub. There are 5 great golf courses on the property and all are really great experiences (PGA West). We stayed here for the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament and the hotel provided free shuttle service. The room was great - a little larger than normal, very clean, large bath and shower areas, and a fire place for those cool nights. The Spa was very nice and they have exercise classes several times a day. Easy to access tennis courts and professional instruction if required. The restaurants are well staffed and have very good food. Many of the hotel guests use the restaurants, so plan ahead with reservations. I played golf and rented clubs, the clubs were nice TaylorMade clubs. Overall a great stay at a hotel with very nice and accommodating staff.
