Great resort. Family and couple friendly. Even animal friendly. We stayed in the basic rooms they offer which were nice and spread out. Perfect for 2 people. Gorgeous garden views and pools everywhere so no need to really have a pool view room. Adult only pool for those looking to just get a kid escape and kid friendly pools all around. Amazing gym for guest to use...with classes offered and bike rentals. Loved staying there and will be returning again. Food was good onsite. We brought some of our own snacks as snacks by the pools add up quick. But Adobe's chicken mole is highly recommended! Dessert at TwentySix was yummy with some good craft beers. We had a more formal dinner and Morgan's, good choices, higher priced than if you chose some places off site but not bad if you don't want to leave the resort but want a nice sit down. Piano plays in bar on Friday and he is amazing. You can hear in other part of restaurant. Good ambiance. Overall great stay...will be back!

I've never written a bad review, but have never had an experience quite like this. My family and I visited this hotel in July and checked out right before July 4th, so it was a busy time for the resort. But the way the staff handled our 6 room reservation was less than ideal; the check in time was 4pm, and by 4:05pm they had given us the key to 1 of the rooms. All 9 of us were sitting in the 1 room waiting for the others to become available, not ideal for kids or groceries that were melting in the car. We called every 10-15 minutes for an update since they were not communicating. They eventually ignored out phone calls (we called from the room phone) until we called from a cell phone and asked to speak to a manager. Also a majority of the rooms are actually separate from the hotel in a residential property, which they don't tell you until you arrive and they give you directions on how to drive the 1.5 miles to your room. They also forgot to give 2 of us parking passes, which resulted in the security guard at the gate being rude and saying that we had to go back since he had no affiliation with the hotel. After many other small issues (ice machine being broken in 112 degree weather, only available parking far from our room, no towels at pool etc) I'm still dealing with getting a one night refund for part of my stay after the manager apologized. It's been nearly a month since I checked out. If you decide to stay here, Do NOT book through the 3rd party Cancelon. I've called numerous times and email even more, forwarding them the approval from the hotel asking to refund me and nothing has happened. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this property.

Spent one night on a "hideaway casitas" with private hot tub (Casita 668) room was clean and roomy, small private yard with an orange tree and small outdoor jacuzzi. A/C worked well (122 outside temperature). The only problem encountered was in the morning our bathroom was full of ants and a trail of ants going into the bed (we had no food in our room) when I stopped by the front desk to report the problem I was told "It's normal in this type of weather" ...Not in my 57 years of staying in hotels around the world...we had planned to stay a few days but moved to a different resort. Resort was not crowded, very quiet even by the pools.

We loved the layout of the resort; casitas are all on one level and grouped around many mid- sized pools. There were no elevators to wait for, no one above or below, and not everyone crammed into one pool. Casitas were clean, spacious, and cool with all many window blinds. The private patio and small grassy area were perfect for our dogs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Needs improvement - the wifi kept disconnecting and was very slow. Not a big deal, but its an easy fix.

Its too hot to enjoy the pool or the walking the grounds or the fun outdoor activities they have planned -like outdoors movies and live music. Go any time but summer. The rooms are very nice, but they were doing construction on the pools and it was SO noisy. If they knew they were going to be doing jack hammer type of construction, I wished they had put us further away. This was supposed to be a spa trip for me, but the massage was just awful and I cancelled my all of my other appointments. Husband loved the tennis, said it was the best coaches he has ever trained under.
