Disappointing. Place has lost its charm. Furniture is mismatched with nice spanish furniture and then contemporary furniture. It used to be so nice. Patio was dirty and cushions were stained. Not a good first impression. Restaurants were good with good service but Rooms certainly went downhill. Probably won’t be back.

Day or night, La Quinta Resort is a magical experience. The palm lined entry alone lets you know that you are in store for a special experience. Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Ginger Rogers spent leisurely days here, and sipped their coffees under these stately palms. The purple mountain backdrop frames the picturesque setting, and lush green lawns make the flowers pop like a Van Gogh canvas. Walking the palm lined paths in the moonlight, I imagine Gable and Lombard whispering softly in the dim evening light. Sandy tile roofs top the white stucco cottages that adorn these elegant acres, all of which are magnificently manicured. Inside, choosing a suite gets you a fireplace and sitting area, but in November, the weather is so very pleasant you may have little need for these indoor conveniences. We included the breakfast package, which was both a hearty and a worthwhile addition. Go, relax, unwind. Enjoy the warm sunny days and cool dark nights (…at least in Nov 2017!). Close your eyes and imagine that you and all the other Hollywood royalty are having the times of your life. You Are!!!

This place is simply stunning, and the rooms are fantastic! My only caveat was the food/drink cost, which comes back to haunt you when checking out. We enjoyed every part of our stay, and the quality of food was top notch, but every meal (including breakfast) was $100 or more.

We have stayed at the resort several times over the years, but it had been several years since our last visit. It had not changed and still had wonderful grounds and amenities. Rooms are always first-rate and the staff is great. Good restaurants and close to several others. We'll be back.

Great service, attentive staff and really enjoyed the area around. It was a pleasure to have the pool and spa right next to my room. Some rooms are a bit far but they are excellent at sending assistance to transport you to and from your location.
