I had been to La Quinta years ago for a couple of events and thought I would love to stay there sometime. It was so beautiful with the flowers and Spanish architecture! Yes, finally this past week we stayed for a couple of days. I had forgotten how hot it gets in the summer but the beautiful, spacious room made up for the fact. Our first room was an executive suite. It was huge! Couch, over stuffed chairs, large dining room table, kitchen, large separate king bedroom. A very nice pool area shared by maybe eight casitas. Nice but the air conditioner wasn't working. We were eventually upgraded to a gorgeous hideaway suite with our own private hot tub (all though way too hot to use 112 degrees) and yard. Thank you to Tony for making our move flawless! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We got lost walking to the spa and looking for different things and the staff always showed us the way. We stayed inside a lot due to the heat and the room service was prompt and delicious. Thank you Rudy and Jorge! I can't wait to return in cooler weather to use the three fireplaces in our room!

Really pretty resort for a peaceful getaway. Restaurants are solid but not worth the price. Gabriela and jerick were amazing by the main pool and took really good care of us for our anniversary. Look forward to coming back for the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing service.

First of all driving into the entrance, was literally a moment from Old Hollywood royalty, the landscaping, picuresque view and the mountains took my breath away. The staff is fantastic from the front dest to the housekeepers. I had a poolside casita with a fireplace in my room and the bath was huge, at the coffee bar is also a mini fridge with a very efficient ice maker. Considering the temperature was going to be well in the 110+ range the A/C blew ice cold. At our meetings the breakfast were so delicious and breaks and cocktails equally as great. I especially loved the "Hot Pretzel Bar"! Can't say enough except I can't wait to go back very soon!

We had a king suite with a full kitchen. This was by far one of the most comfortable stays I've had anywhere. Plenty of space a mini home away from home with all the comforts! We were able to cook and enjoy meals, kick back and relax when back from the pools as if we were home. It was very relaxing and the kitchen has quality cookware and cutlery. The only thing we needed and did not have was a cheese grater. This will become a family destination for us! The only complaint I have is the fold out sleeper was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Maybe okay for a couple of kids but not this 50 year old grandma. I did not use it on night two just put a sheet on the couch it self and slept on that which was by far more comfortable than the pull out. My grandson, daughter and mother had a wonderful time with some great memories made! You have a pool right outside your room about 4 feet deep but very warm because it's so hot out there. The main pool is cooler and refreshing. I would recommend that the hotel provide skimmers at each pool because on the morning we were to leave we wanted to take one last dip and our pool was full of live and dead bee's it took us forever to get it cleaned out with our flip flops before I could allow my grandson in the pool.

Can't say enough good and can't wait to come back! ROOMS: We stayed in two casitas (141 and 150). I believe these are considered the "old casitas." They were lovely. 141 had a screened in porch and fireplace. Both rooms had a keurig for coffee and tea. Very attractive. Beautifully decorated. Bathrooms have large tubs and showers are lovely with Spanish tile. Two chairs on front porches for morning coffee. Small refrigerators included. GROUNDS: Just incredible! So gorgeous in every direction. An abundance of trees, each of which had a plaque with its name. Beautiful flowers. A gorgeous waterfall. POOLS: Don't worry about being near a pool. They are EVERYWHERE. The main pool is especially wonderful with the great bar, restaurant, and servers. There is also a lap pool, a plunge pool, and lots of smaller pools. RESTAURANTS: Morgan's was INCREDIBLE. Not only was the food impeccable (far beyond most upscale hotel restaurants)
