Spa service was incredible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 19 hours ago

Had the best 80 minute massage at the Spa from Garry Leath. Afterwards I could feel a complete reset of my nervous system. The spa also had a great lounge area outside that was super peaceful that I sat at until the spa closed at 6. 10/10 would recommend, and I will be requesting the same masseuse next time for sure!

Absolutely Disgusting Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

Wrote this to management and never heard back, which is telling: I travel frequently for both work and personal reasons and have never felt compelled to write a complaint email to a hotel before. Unfortunately, our recent stay at La Quinta Resort was easily the most unsanitary and poorly managed hotel experience I have ever had. The issues included: My wife and I woke up covered in bug bites after sleeping in the room. The bathroom counter was covered in ants. Arguably the most disgusting part of the trip was the pool areas. Multiple pool areas were completely trashed. Things I saw: overflowing garbage cans, towels from the prior day left on chairs, spilled popcorn, half-eaten burritos, spilled fruit, empty beer cans, liquor bottles, glassware, and food debris throughout the area. I should’ve taken pictures because it was truly disgusting and made several pools completely unusable throughout our trip - which was the main point of coming. Even after finding a somewhat cleaner pool area, there were no towels available. We called the front desk requesting towels and no one ever came despite being there for 2 hours. Prior to arrival, we specifically called to confirm a crib would be available for our infant son and were assured there would be one. Upon check-in, we were told the hotel was out of cribs and instead delivered a clearly broken pack and play, which was both unacceptable and a serious safety/liability concern. Our son is 10 weeks old. During dinner, a child at the neighboring table projectile vomited nearby. The vomit was never cleaned up, forcing us to finish our meal sitting next to vomit on the floor. Other issues that reflected poor service Check-in took approximately 30 minutes, likely due to understaffing at the front desk. Parking availability was completely inadequate for the size of the property. There were not nearly enough pool chairs to accommodate guests.

Spa La Quinta

The experience at the spa felt very welcoming and relaxing, Elizabeth at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful. The staff customer service was warm, professional and attentive from start to finish. Damaritz was absolutely incredible and one of the most relaxing treatments I've had. Highly recommend the spa for anyone looking for outstanding service and peaceful experience.

Lovely Stay and Will Return

Stayed at La Quinta for our first time to celebrate our anniversary. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Has that old Palm Springs feel that you don't get with newer hotels. Service was excellent as we were upgraded for our 2-night stay to Spa Villa Suite. The service team communicates with you through the Hilton app and are quick to help in any way. Leslie at the front desk was great. The rooms are nice and bedding is comfortable (although I wish the pillows were a little firmer). There so many pools and there will always be a pool close to your room. However, we spent most of our time at the Plunge pool (adult-only) and enjoyed the bar there. You have a few restaurants on property to choose from or you can order room-service to your room or by the pool. The other wonderful aspect is the parking. You basically park by your room and the location of our room we were able to park in shaded parking, which is absolutely a plus with the hot desert sun. I guess parking will depend on the time of year you go and the occupancy rate at that time. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return.

Amazing stay!! Pleasantly surprised.

The La Quinta resort and Spa is truly a special place!! No wonder Frank Capa lived there and wrote his iconic Its a Wonderful Life while there. I can see it’s inspiration for Beford Falls. I went there in December for the first time with my elderly dad. My dad has gone there many times with my stepmom who recently passed. I thought my dad needed some cheering up and I wanted to see what my dad had been raving about. I Loved it!! My dad befriended the lovely lady who manages the gift shops there, Debbie (stop in and say “hi” to Debbie) She is a beautiful human being! And the gift shops aren’t tiky tacky. They have fun beautiful things and you don’t have to go all over the desert cities to find great stuff. We had such a lovely time we rebooked for Memorial Day weekend. After a long hot drive, fighting traffic (holiday traffic 🙄) upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary (yummy!) adult beverages. So refreshing and just so nice! That was a lovely touch. The people at La Quinta resort really go out of their way to wow you and I really appreciate that. They have activities galore— glow in the dark evening pickle ball anyone? An experience rounded out with DJ and cocktail 🍹 On our last evening there on our way to dinner my dad mentioned the toilet he was using wasn’t working properly. I opened up my text messages and I saw a text from the resort asking me if everything was ok. They were just checking in on us (another wow moment) I let them know about my dad’s issue and they responded that an engineer would be sent over to the room. By the time we got back from dinner - problem solved!! We did have to waste precious time to get it done! The negatives are it can get crowded. People love it it’s a popular place. You might have to park a bit farther than you want, etc. The people at the restaurants are overwhelmed. And please try the guacamole 🥑 that is the BEST guacamole I’ve ever had (raised in Southern California) they make it fresh. It is to die for.

Great service, clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with 2 sinks. We stayed at La Quinta Resort and Spa. The grounds are stunning with all color of flowers. Food is great, all meals. Our only complaint would be parking. It is very minimal where your villa is located. There is parking lot available but not very close. The spa is also a great place with good therapists.
