Husband had a conference here and I got to tag along. I'm a lucky girl as this place is a dream. We had a king suite and on check in we quickly changed from having a private patio to pool side. I could see that you may want the private patio if it was family vacation time as it would be quieter but that pool was calling me and it was only 30 steps away from our door. Rooms are set up in squares with the pool being the centerpiece so it makes it feel like its a small resort not the giant that it is. Our room was large with a huge bathroom as well, separate tub and shower, fireplace (which at 110 degrees was not needed) big desk area and a king cushy bed which I'm still dreaming about. The food at this place was high quality, to the delish at my husbands conference venue to the marketplace cafe where I purchased breakfast every morning. I also attended the gym every day and was never stuck waiting for equipment and my husband twice took part in spin classes. They also have scheduled water exercise classes if that's your thing. The service and grounds were impeccable with every employee attentive and smiling. We have been to several resorts in the Caribean and this place would rate up there with the 5 stars. Thank you La Quinta you were our Oasis.

The La Quinta Resort & Spa was beautiful, extremely relaxing and all of the staff will fantastic. We would high recommend anyone looking to stay in the Desert to look no further than the La Qunita Resort & Spa.

Booked just the one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Booked one of the packages on the website that included golf, breakfast and spa credit. We arrived early and the staff accommodated an early arrival, booked us a tee time and organised lunch prior to tee off. The course has only just reopened after annual maintenance so condition was a bit rough. But didn't take away from fact that the scenery is absolutely stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our round. Had dinner in the Mexican restaurant outside under the trees and was very relaxing. Food was good. Rooms were good size and well decorated with the SoCal - Mexican style. The resort had a very relaxing feel to it. Would highly recommend and love to return one day.

Checknin clerk just handed me a key no instructions on how to get to room. Then later I found out she attempted to charge for huge upgrade I never received. Still have yet to be credited back for the money if upgrade I never asked for or got.

We came for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Although on the older side, this resort exudes a sense of history and charm. We stayed in one of the vintage suites overlooking the fountain area of the garden. The room was quite large and comfortable. It was also very quiet and private. The furniture was a little outdated and "tired" and the bathroom could have used a bit more updating, but the charm of the room was unbeatable. We especially loved the little patio in front of our casita. It was well shaded and pretty private, set back from the public areas. We didn't have a private pool, but there were two small and intimate pools a short walk from our casita. The grounds are lovely! Very classy, with a great sense of history. Sprawling but with many quiet spots to sit and relax. We will definitely return to this wonderful resort. Thank you La Quinta!
