I tried to call reservation desk today to ask specific questions regarding room type, amenities, size, etc, only to be told, "they're in a meeting, please try calling back in 45 minutes." I repeated the reason for my call, only to be told AGAIN, "Sorry, again, they're all in a meeting, can you call back in 45 minutes?" Wow.

Kathy you will hear from me. I am so angry I want to speak to the board. Nathan, the manager, fought with me to try to get me to leave! I did! It was our sixth anniversary, 4 nights prepaid, requested room, and a digital key. We were set. Nathan Nathaniel was SOOOO offensive. Did I mention I had foot surgery and was forced to WALK to the lobby as he watched! The girl inside threatened to call security because of my words, not name calling. Funny, as I stood there all I could think of was my throbbing foot not one attempt at compassion or angry customer intervention? It was 12 midnight. We drove 5 hours to come to la q. Ill never stay in a mother hilton.

I have stayed at the La Quinta many times and have always been so very happy with the service and history of this beautiful resort. During my last stay, I had a very unpleasant experience that i won't go into here, but suffice to say, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I spoke with Ben Fusco and his wonderful team, Patricia and KC who have made me a customer for life. I'm so beyond happy with how they have gone above and beyond to correct a mistake. It is very rare to see big hotels like this take responsibility for mistakes, but they did everything in their power to make it right. I am so beyond happy with them that I made an account just to write this review. If you are looking for great service, amazing food (try the short ribs at Adobe) and a serene and beautiful setting, look no further than this resort. I don't hold any other property in higher esteem. Don't wait, stay here!

I had been to La Quinta years ago for a couple of events and thought I would love to stay there sometime. It was so beautiful with the flowers and Spanish architecture! Yes, finally this past week we stayed for a couple of days. I had forgotten how hot it gets in the summer but the beautiful, spacious room made up for the fact. Our first room was an executive suite. It was huge! Couch, over stuffed chairs, large dining room table, kitchen, large separate king bedroom. A very nice pool area shared by maybe eight casitas. Nice but the air conditioner wasn't working. We were eventually upgraded to a gorgeous hideaway suite with our own private hot tub (all though way too hot to use 112 degrees) and yard. Thank you to Tony for making our move flawless! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We got lost walking to the spa and looking for different things and the staff always showed us the way. We stayed inside a lot due to the heat and the room service was prompt and delicious. Thank you Rudy and Jorge! I can't wait to return in cooler weather to use the three fireplaces in our room!

Really pretty resort for a peaceful getaway. Restaurants are solid but not worth the price. Gabriela and jerick were amazing by the main pool and took really good care of us for our anniversary. Look forward to coming back for the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing service.
