We rented a private villa on Casa de Campo for our 9 day stay. The villa was absolutely gorgeous. Since CDC is such a huge resort the golf carts were a must have. We also had 2 rental cars. Our private staff were so attentive to every detail. We stayed about 3 minutes from the marina which was convenient. All of the restaurants we visited on CDC were excellent. The spa was great as well. The golf courses were immaculate! The beach restaurant was still under construction when we visited but our time at the beach was still a beautiful and very relaxing. The one downfall to staying at CDC was that it is secluded from the actual city of La Romana and if you wanted to do anything off the resort it was hard to get to. We did venture off one day and had a nice time in La Romana but it was so much different then when we stayed in Punta Cana. It’s really a beautiful resort regardless and don’t forget to visit Altos de Chavon! Absolutely stunning!

This was my second trip to DR. And the first time staying at Casa De Campo. The whole experience was way above our expectations. From the moment we got there until the time we left the service was remarkable. The staff was great and the entire resort was just amazing.

A friend of mine and I rented a villa at this property, and we were surprised at check-out that we were BOTH overcharged $7,060.00. We were told at the check-out desk that the hotel wouldn't do anything for us but we had to contact our banks and resolve the issue. As I sit and write this review, there has been nothing from the hotel from the hotel to indicate they are doing anything to correct the problem after multiple communications with them. I did receive an email response noting an additional charge was being made to my credit card (which was an accurate charge agreed upon before my arrival), however, there was no mention of the overcharge and what was going to be done about it. Upon arrival, our villa was not ready, and we were left sitting in the heat for 3+ hours with very little communication as to when it would be ready other than "hopefully soon." Now, to be clear, it is a beautiful property, and I would have given it a much higher rating had it not been for a miserable check-in and a disastrous check-out. We climbed the scale of management, and NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE will make any attempt to right this error. How does this happen to not just me, but to my friend traveling with me? To be clear, this is an overcharge of $14,120. Besides trying to get the charges correct, it is a beautiful property, the golf is very good, and the accommodations are most excellent. If the property can right the wrong, I'd go back, but I would track my charges with them, and my card, on a daily basis.

Very nice place, good food, service, and beach. The drinks were good and the wait for our dinner was very low. The pools were nice however not enough chairs available but this could have been because it was a busy time I will return again.

Been meaning to write this review since I returned from my trip in late October - Casa De Campo was by far the best resort I have ever stayed at and the service was impeccable. The rooms were astounding, and there was never a day we got bored. I went with a friend and some family members and could not have had a better time. We loved being able to hop in our golf kart and drive to the marina or to the amphitheater, everything on the hotel grounds was simply amazing. Our houseman, Cesario De La Cruz, made the entire stay. He was the most attentive, friendly, and gracious host! Whenever we opened our door he was there, always ready if we needed something. We can't thank him enough and could not have had a better stay!!
