Cascade Wellness Resort

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our 5-year-old son and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a self-catering one-bedroom apartment, which was perfectly suited to our needs. It was clean, had plenty of storage space, and was comfortable throughout. The kitchen was a little basic, but it didn’t spoil the holiday at all. Everything worked well, and the coffee pods for the Nespresso machine were replaced daily, which was a nice touch. The apartment had loads of space for the three of us, and we never felt cramped. One of the highlights for our son was the sand pool, which was brilliant. There were lots of children playing there and plenty of toys for them to use, so it was a real favourite during our stay. We also used the other pool, though not as much, and there were always loads of sunbeds available, so there was never any problem getting one. We didn’t get around to using the spa and our son didn’t go to the kids’ club either, but we were told both were very good. We hired a car, which I would definitely recommend. Lagos is walkable if you don’t mind around half an hour and a few hills, but with a child, the car made everything much easier. We also enjoyed a few days out driving around, and Lagos was easy to get around with plenty of parking. The restaurant at the hotel was fantastic — we ended up eating there far more than planned. The service was amazing and the food was excellent, especially the seafood and fish, which were beautifully cooked. We would definitely eat there again. There was also an Italian restaurant, which I think was a newer addition, and that was great too — the pizzas were excellent, and we got takeaway from there a couple of times. The staff were lovely and quick to help with anything we needed. For example, there was no safe in our room when we arrived, but we mentioned it to reception and one was fitted straight away. The only small issue was that there wasn’t enough cutlery and crockery, but overall this didn’t affect our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this resort for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Service is ok. Staff by the pool very miserable and one lady was very rude in particular. Spoke the duty manager then spoke to another manager higher Christina I believe about it . Nothing was done unfortunately.

We booked seven rooms for a three-night family stay at Cascade Wellness Resort: four Sea View rooms and three Standard rooms. Unfortunately, the overall experience has been disappointing and not what we expected from a five-star property. Two of the Sea View rooms were located quite far from the main building and the views were not at all what we expected based on the room category and photos. Surprisingly, some of our Standard rooms actually had better views. We brought this to management’s attention upon arrival, but the hotel was full. With only a three-night stay, having to pack and change rooms the following day was not a practical solution. We were also surprised that the king-size beds are actually two individual beds pushed together, something we would not expect at a luxury hotel. The most disappointing experience, however, was our family dinner. It was the only evening during our stay when our entire family was dining together. Service was extremely slow, and when we politely asked the restaurant manager if they could help speed things up, her response was confrontational and disrespectful. Unfortunately, this completely changed the atmosphere of what should have been a special family evening. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but based on our experience, the room categories, attention to detail, and level of service did not meet the standards we expected from a five-star resort.

We had an awsome staying in this excellent Hotel Resort. Great location,near the beach and not so far from Lagos. Front desk very friendly,nice pool and clean room.We will be back soon.Special thanks to the Pizzaria staff. Mario really knows everything from his hometown.God bless.

Excellent experience at Cascade once again. Location is perfect for feeling away from it all but actually within walking distance to many restaurants, beaches, coves. Breakfast choices were superb and the new addition lunch bar is very welcome. Would appreciate more entertainment for older kids as the kids club seems to cater for the younger ones. Overall a great stay and we will be back in the near future.
