Outstanding Experience
The renovations at the Surf n Sand have made the resort even more spectacular, including the new Concierge space off the lobby, Splashes restaurant, Splashes bar, and the hotel room itself with an over the top bathroom. The service was exceptional as well as the food. We'll definitely be going back. I've been staying at the property since 1994, and I couldn't be happier with how the place was renovated!

Surf and Sand… Amazing
We had an absolute amazing stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, they made sure that we were comfortable and our dog had everything he needed to feel “at home”. I can’t say enough of this beautiful hotel and the staff.

Truly amazing experience
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful trip. Surf and sand was a truly mesmerizing place and Maxine made our stay unforgettable. She was so attentive to our needs and made us feel truly special. The ocean front views were breath taking! We cannot wait to visit again next year!

The best hotel in CA!
Truly one of the most magical places! We are convinced that the staff is not allowed to say “no” to any request. Each person is so kind and gracious. Especially Shanny! This is a very special place for me and my family, and after the remodel it’s better than ever. The food is fabulous, the property and views breathtaking. It feels like a home away from home, by far the best places to stay if you are wanting escape on the southern ca coast! We live 20 minutes away but still choose here time and time again

Exceptional Stay!
The renovations to the hotel are literally perfect! They kept the boutique vibe of the hotel while the room renovations are everything you want and more! Special shout out to Shanney who made this trip so perfect for our family! Her attention to detail is exquisite and she went out of her way to make us feel special! Surf and Sand is fortunate to have an employee who takes great care of her guests and provides exceptional customer service! Can’t wait to come back!

We spent 5 luxurious nights at the Surf & Sand hotel in Laguna Beach, CA, the week of August 14th, 2004. Upon arrival at our oceanfront room, we received chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. A full breakfast in Splashes restaurant included anything we wanted on the menu each day. We had a wonderful dinner including a bottle of wine, and even the hotel taxes and parking each day was included. It was a really great vacation.
