The Hilton Lake Las Vegas was gorgeous and a breath of fresh air compared to the smokey hotels on the strip of Las Vegas - excellent service - terrific value - I would come back again and again - it was as if I was transported to a village in Italy

Most people have never heard of Lake Las Vegas. This was once a Ritz until it went bankrupt, then it was Ravella, then purchased by Hilton. It has a new market near it. The surrounding village is desolate. The Mexican place has good food however.

Other than the slow maid service, I highly recommend this hotel. It sits in a village and when you walk out the hotel there are a few shops, but a lovely restaurant conveniently in village. This Hilton is a beautifully maintained hotel. I had a beautiful view of Lake Las Vegas from my hotel room. It was very hot in the Henderson area during my stay, so thankfully spending most of my time in the hotel was a big part of my vacation experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest.

Hotel is a mock Italian palace design. Very clean and well run. Too far if your main plan is The Strip, but if you Henderson area it is nice. Can't comment on value as my room/meals all paid for by conf I was attending.

This sprawling hotel is far from everything with very little signage and bad service. The hotel is massive, huge but there are very few signs to point you to the lobby, to an elevator etc. Sounds like a small detail but after walking around for 30 minutes looking for a sign, an employee something to get you to the lobby is ridiculous. Cracks in the walls, missing door knobs, a defunct abandoned casino, the cheapest in room coffee makers I've come across in a long, long time. Last night requested a 6 am wake up call. No wake up call happened. If you are trying to call guest services, the front desk or the operator the phone just rings and rings forever with no pick up. As a Diamond Member at Hilton, I requested a late check out and they were very quick to say no. Not a good place to stay- go somewhere else especially if you want to enjoy your stay.
