Stayed in a double queen room on the second floor. Nice, quiet, comfortable, clean room. Greeted by a friendly, welcoming gentleman when I pulled up to the hotel, just to find another friendly, welcoming gentleman behind the front desk. All the staff are friendly and helpful. If you need something, just ask. I live only 45 minutes away from PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn and stay there whenever I want to get away from it all for a couple days. PlumpJack Martini is out of this world...food is amazing as well. They have a killer house-made granola at the breakfast buffet you need to try on top of some yogurt! Very convenient location at the epicenter of the Village at Squaw Valley for skiing, hiking, cycling, and for recreating at Lake Tahoe. The Inn is pet friendly as well, so you can take your canine buddy on your adventures with you!

Squaw Valley itself is a beautiful area with excellent hiking, food and summer activities. The Plumpjack Inn offered clean, spacious and well appointed accommodations. The staff were particularly conscientious, polite and professional. The food was terrific--from the gourmet buffet breakfasts, to the happy hour drinks and appetizers to the full dinners. We enjoyed all of these aspects during our week at the Inn. We enjoyed the free bikes to ride around the Squaw Valley area, used the Jacuzzi every night after long days hiking and walked over to the local Village for food, drinks and a bit of fun. All and all, the PJ Inn was an excellent place to stay for our week to relax in Squaw Valley!

This hotel is in an excellent location if you're looking to explore Squaw Valley! Overall we enjoyed our stay, but they have a few kinks to work out. The pool appeared to be dirty, the penthouse suite's couch was covered in dog hair, and the tires on the bike-loaners were flat. The food and drink selection was great, however the service was slow and inattentive. The bathroom robes are super comfortable and we appreciated the free wifi. The people working the front desk were super nice and we were able to get into our room before check-in time which was awesome!

Overall facility was nice, great location and setting with bocci, pool, spa, parking and most important wonderful staff. The courtyard pool and eating area was perfect. We stayed in a king suite which was great size just needs upgrade to existing A/C for cooling both sides of room. I could see the winter stay would be wonderful and look forward to next ski season and booking a room. Thanks for great services.
