CHARMING HOTEL WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Just came back for an extraordinary Labor Day week end in this charming and relaxing property with an excellent service delivered by an amazing Team! Not our first time here .. we tried many hotels but this one is special because the entire Team is always here to please you! Thank you so much Andrea you are a Star! Always professional and so friendly! You are definitely a wonderful Asset for this property! We absolutely love the big and super clean room with a very comfy king bed.. so peaceful and relaxing room on the 2nd floor with view of the swimming pool and the charming trees. The food and the service are excellent here at the restaurant with fresh and tasty products It was possible to keep our Jack Russel with us because they have a special table for guest with dogs 🙏❤️🐶 A week end to remember … A GEM!

Good choice in The Palisades

This was a really good choice. It is quaint. Has a nice little pool with cute grounds. The rooms are not luxurious but they are nice and big. We appreciated the table and chairs. We hate hotels that don’t offer seating other than the bed. The robes and flip flops were a nice touch. We were here for a wedding at the Everline resort and were happy with the price and accommodations.

Alas, Poor Yorick!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Perfect location across the street from the Olympic Village complex. Unlike Shakespeare, this former gem of the 1960 Winter Olympics has not withstood the test of time. Despite the best efforts of its dedicated staff, the buildings have fallen into serious disrepair, the restaurant doesn't serve breakfast or lunch (sparse dinner menu, too) and no elevators for upper floors. Clearly over-priced. This property is a tarnished and dented trophy that requires a several million dollar refurbishment. In the Bard's time, this kind of place was known as a 'sink'.

Rundown with many problems

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

This is a rundown hotel with exorbitant price for what is really offering . The building and rooms look old and the amenities do not function. There is no elevator and no busboy service to carry heavier luggage items up the narrow stairs. The cement floor in the bathroom and partially in the room look old and since the heating does not function well , with a broken thermostat, it feels very cold. The main hot tub is broken ( important item for a ski based area ) and the faucets in the shower in the room , do function for shower mode only and not the bathtub to take a hot bath. The shower head sprays water sideways. The restaurant did not seemed tobe open. The only positive hung was the staff was friendly and helpful. In conclusion this hotel is joke. I will never come back even if the skiing was great.

Charming and relaxing place! Amazing staff in this cozy boutique Hotel!! Professional, knowledgeable and so friendly! Andrea, Taryn, Garett were the stars of this place. We absolutely love our room, so cozy and so quiet with the view of the Pool. Ben at the Bar was so friendly and professional! The bar was lovely with a great selections of cocktails and wines. Do not hesitate to book a table at The restaurant on site . Gorgeous view of the beautiful garden with lots of trees, the food is excellent, always fresh and tasty, the service is impeccable and the wines list is superb! A must excellent free coffee in the lobby in the morning, pets friendly and free bikes. A dream vacation! We tried many places around .. this one is a GEM🙏❤️
