Luxurious yet quaint inn in Squaw Valley, right by the lifts. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful service, friendly and welcoming staff, and great food. Even dog friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable getaway for our family.

They were very helpful with unloading my car, to parking it for me so I could get to having fun soon. They were very sweet with my dog and went out of their way to welcome her too. We were here for a wedding in a different location in the village which had a last minute change due to high winds and they went out to figure out where the location changed to while my children and I got ready and then called us when they found out. Very personal service!!! And the breakfasts were delicious!!!

The staff is FABULOUS. And yes the breakfast is good. But the rooms are run down and it's noisy; kids running up and down hallways, dogs barking, garbage collectors at 1 am. I'd stay here again but I'd be much happier if the rooms were spruced up and the pet policy could be amended so there there was a 'no barking' floor. Or wing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Plumpjack. The location could not be better re: skiing at Squaw, we were able to bring our dog with us which was a big plus and the staff could not have been friendlier. We will definitely be returning next year and hope to make this an annual tradition.
