All staff were great. Very professional and accommodating. I had a few special requests each day, and the staff did not hesitate to take care of all my requests and offered to do more than I was asking for. The entire property was in excellent shape. Very clean and modern.

My husband and I just spend 2 nights at the PlumpJack. Wow, the view driving in left us speechless. It is absolutely beautiful!! One morning we rented their bikes and took an easy 3 miles ride down the main scenic road for some pictures. When we arrived the staff greeted us warmly and helped us to our room. The king size bed room was very large, large bathroom, and space to put away our summer clothes. They have done nice job placing newer more modern furnishings in the room but the pleasantries stop there. The bed was comfortable, plenty of places to sit down and good lighting. Luckily it was very cool when we were there so we slept with the windows open. The rest of the room needs a major updating. The carpet was so old I would not walk on it barefoot. Good thing they provided flip flops, because I even wore them in the shower, in my hotel room! The bathroom is circa 1975 hospital room.We must have had a handicapped room so it is a walk in shower, the first night we completely flooded the bathroom with water flowing out of the bathroom into the hallway! Luckily we had plenty of towels and the staff helped us out. Come on PlumpJack, update the rooms, windows and hallways! Renovate the bathrooms, new tile, new fixtures, new lighting. We had great rates but if I were staying there in season, that would really bother me! We didn't let that dampen our spirits because everything else is completely on point at this resort. We ate in the dining room one night and the food and service were exemplary! Walking to the little village to get dinner and sit outside was relaxing and convenient. We spent one day taking the tram to the top and went swimming. We even walked down a bit from the pool at the top and played in the snow. How cool is that in the summer! Don't forget the breakfast in the morning with absolutely the best granola on earth. Take some home, you wont be disappointed.

I stayed here for a wedding. Hotel and service were great! Rooms were a little hot due to the summer stay and no AC but overall great! The grounds were beautiful and pool area was nice and relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone.

The staff was excellent and seemed well trained. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the location near Squaw Valley ski mountain and village. It seemed like they did a really good job hiring staff at this location. Rooms were good and spacious and provided a great alternative to other hotels in the area. The general manager followed up with my stay and the folks there seem genuinely interested in providing the best service to their guests. nice and refreshing for sure,
