Reviews for The Terrace Hotel
This is an outstanding historic restoration of a Lakeland landmark constructed in the 20[s. The rooms are well appointed with modern updates. The restaurant is superb with a chef that has been on board for many years. The comfort and ambiance of this hotel/restaurant is outstanding. Lake Mirror and the surrounding waterfront parkland is immediately adjacent and affords great views. Convenient adjoining parking lot with valet or optional park yourself.

Beautiful historic building . Bad nights sleep. Was very optimistic that this would be a great hotel to return to during the next four years as my son is going to attend Florida Southern College . Despite the absolute charm of a historical hotel, I cannot even rate it average because my bed was so hard and uncomfortable . Sleep was elusive . Tossing and turning to get a comfy position . back was sore the next day . And I caught myself wishing for a Hilton or a Marriott bed ..... We ordered room service for breakfast. it was delicious & outstanding quick service . The view of the lake was beautiful . However windows were very dirty . Overall it is a lovely property .. great restaurant . but they must update the interior of the rooms . new mattresses .. new carpeting and clean the windows at a minimum . A luxury property needs to have bathrobes, much nicer quality sheets and mattresses , working fixtures . ( one if the two bedside lamps did not work ) etc . This has the potential to be a wonderful luxury hotel .

The hotel's bedroom is great, the bathroom also very good, everything well cleaned. The complimentary breakfast though is horrible and employees are not very kind. But price x benefit is well balanced.
First time staying at the Terrace Hotel Lakeland. Very historic hotel in the heart of downtown Lakeland. Walking distance from numerous great bars and restaurants. Rooms are a bit small as one would expect from a historic property of this age. Lobby and restaurant were very well taken care of. Rooms were more than adequate, but could use a bit of updating. Room and bathroom were definitely clean. Try and get a room as high as possible to get away from the street noise! Towels and linens were of high quality. I would not hesitate to stay at the Terrace when back in Lakeland. The location cannot be beat!

Great downtown location with access to many places to eat. Rooms are small but to expected in an old Hotel. The furnishings are very good in the rooms. Our room was a high floor corner room overlooking Mirror Lake. The Hotel is just delighful. It has a fantastic Restaurant!!! The setting is great. Staff is great. Parking is very good on site with free Valet parking. Very reasonable price on rooms.
