The location was great for us to visit our family just a few blocks away. The lobby is very pretty and the restaurant looked beautiful and charming, though we did not eat there. The front desk staff was very friendly and parking in the lot next to the hotel was super easy and close. The room was very dimly lit and the bathtub probably needs to be refurbished or replaced. The windows are not air tight as we felt cold air coming through. Also, the street is very noisy with cars revving their engines. There is also noise from people in the parking garage across the street. Luckily, all the noise died down by the time we went to sleep.

Spent 2 days here. First hotel is very nice, staff is outstanding! Why 2 stars? Well my room had enough wind coming through it rattled the blinds, the room could not stay cool unless you turned AC all the way to 60 at 61 it was warm. The trains are awful with their horns blowing, at 5:30am BANG with the trash dumpster being emptied. Now I guess the youth hang out at the garage next door and party till the police come. Lastly the wannabe cars with their LOUD exhaust wind up and down the street along with motorcycles making sleeping non existent. If you have cloister phobia the elevators are more like a small hotel closet.

I came to Lakeland to visit Florida Southern college and the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings there. I also visited the Ashley Gibbons Barnett Museum that has a major Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit going on right now. The hotel was extremely convenient to both, very comfortable, and very attractive. The staff was very respectful. The hot water, air conditioning, television elevators.... Everything worked just fine.

This hotel has the Perfect location in downtown Lakeland. It is walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and the lake is just across the street. Beautiful old hotel in immaculate condition. All the staff are so friendly. Parking is valet or self parking. Beautiful big old-fashion porch that begs you to sit and relax. Rooms are super clean. No nasty carpets … The floors are wood/laminate which I Love. Food is super expensive. However complimentary hot fresh morning coffee is available at a small hallway station. Restaurant room is spectacular

Loved this hotel and everything about it. We had a corner room on the top floor with a nice view of the lake. The decor in the halls and the room were top notch. Bathroom and shower were great too. The Nespresso machine in the room was an added bonus. We arrived on a Sunday so we were not able to have dinner in the restaurant, however, we did enjoy breakfast the next morning. Hotel location is perfect for exploring the town. The parking lot on the hotel property is very convenient as is the garage across the street if the lot is full.
