Banyan Tree Lang Co

We have just concluded a 5 night stay at Banyan Tree Lang Co and could not have enjoyed our stay more. From the reception upon arrival to the warm farewell, the service was personalized, attentive and immaculate - a special thank you to our host: Man, who made our stay very special. Transfers to and from the airport were timely with water, cold towels, and in-car WiFi and chargers. The resort is about 1hr15min drive from Da Nang airport. We had booked a beach villa, and due to some issues received a complimentary upgrade to a two-bedroom hill villa. The beach villa was about a 10 min walk from the main building across a lantern bridge, and the hill villa was similarly 10 mins walk up a hill. However, a golf-carts/buggies can be requested at anytime and come speedily, while complimentary bikes can be used to travel around the property. Both villas were equipped with spacious and luxurious interior furnishings, and we especially appreciated the rain shower and large bathtub. Most importantly, all villas have a heated glass jacuzzi and private pool. Our beach villa also had patio loungers under an umbrella, a small cupola and a reading hammock, and so there are plenty of outdoor spaces to lounge and relax. Our hillside villa also had outdoor loungers to appreciate the incredible view. The hillside villa was especially spacious, with separate dining areas, a kitchenette, and a living room with a large L-shaped sectional. Within each villa we were also given a daily rotation of complimentary fruits, as well as incense and a candle oil diffuser with scents that change daily. In the evenings we had a jar of complimentary biscuits, as well as keepsakes to take home (magnet, bookmarks, pop-up card, hand fan). The highlight of our stay was the attentive and responsive service. Our host, Man, connected with us by WhatsApp and was available at all times to help us with whatever we needed at the hotel and beyond. He helped us to coordinate private round-trip transportation into Hoi An and Hue on two separate days, giving us personalized recommendations for what to see and eat in each city, as well as helping us to coordinate the details of the driver and pick up. He even helped us move our pick up time earlier very last minute since we were feeling quite tired. We felt extremely well taken care of, and we felt certain we could reach out and have an immediate response to help with whatever we needed. Man would also listen carefully to our plans for the day and have things prepared for our return in the evening, including: a foot bath or full bath after our day trips, or freshly sliced fruit in the fridge. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included numerous fresh fruits (jackfruit, rambutan, dragon fruit, watermelon) and juices, Western pastries, as well as Vietnamese specialties that changed daily. We found the daily rotation of noodle soups (Pho Bo, Pho Ga, Bun bo hue to name a few) to be excellent and sometimes even better than noodle soups we had in the city! We also enjoyed trying the other rotating specialty dishes (Bahn Xeo, Bahn Khot, Bahn Cuon) as we had been looking forward to trying these. The breakfast buffet was supervised by a lovely and personable female head chef whom we have forgotten the name of but are deeply appreciative for. We also took advantage of a complimentary 60-min massage at the spa that came with our package and had a wonderful experience with Chi and Hannah. The massages were relaxing with multiple choices for pre- and post/massage teas and several scents of massage oils and face scrubs to choose from. In terms of location, the resort is tucked away about 1hr15mins from Da Nang and Hue. Despite its distance, we took two afternoon shuttle buses to Hoi An and Da Nang respectively, which depart at 2pm and return at 8 or 8:45pm. This time, although short, is enough to visit 1 or two attractions in each city and have dinner. There is also no shortage of activities to take part in at the resort. In addition to the golf course, there is a water sports activity center that is a short bike or buggy ride away. We took part in kayaking, a basket boat ride, and archery. In sum, we wanted to thank our brilliant host Man, as well as the general manager Dao and experience manager Ngao for their hospitality and for making our stay one that we will remember forever.

Yes our villa is spacious and stunning! Yes the beach is private and exclusive! But it’s the service and the staff that truly stand out. Every interaction is utterly joyful and delightful, and you can tell they really catered to making sure we have a pleasant stay. The staff are the cherry on top of everything. My parents and I stayed in a Hillside Villa which was more than enough room for our family of three. It was truly a tranquil oasis. And oh my gosh… let me tell you. The bed!! It was one of the softest, most comfortable beds in any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Impressive. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and loads of options from indulgent to healthy. I looked forward to it every day morning. I will say, the resort is fairly remote and there are not a lot of activities. But it’s a nice forced chill out. Being a book. If you have time, have the staff arrange a driver for a day trip to Hue. We even got a driver to take us to Lang Co for seafood dinner which was super local and authentic.

We had the most wonderful time at Banyan Tree. The resort is gorgeous and the staff are the friendliest I’ve seen anywhere I’ve been. Some of the best experiences and activities of any hotel too. We took a cooking class on a boat with Nho and it was so much fun! We made spring rolls, pomelo salad, and mango salad and then enjoyed our meals on the boat with a beautiful view! We are so sad to leave and definitely want to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Banyan Tree Lang Co. We arrived after some hectic days in Hanoi and immediately relaxed. The service was impeccable (as you would expect from a Banyan Tree) but the staff really went above and beyond. Everything was done to make our stay as pleasurable and comfortable as possible. They made a note that we wanted decaf coffee and the nice little touches, such as afternoon tea and the biscuits in the evening, were lovely. A special thank you goes to our villa host Daniel who made us feel so welcome and who made our stay entirely stress free. He arranged several activities for us and made all of our dinner reservations. The staff really make this place. Special shoutouts also go to Win and to Ngan who couldn’t have done more for us. We ate several nights at the Water Court which served delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Next time we will try their signature Thai restaurant. Overall, a fantastic stay and we couldn’t fault anything. We will definitely be back.

This hotel lives up to its well earned reputation. A friendly greeting on arrival, with Jade our room host who took us to our villa for check in and welcome drink. The room was exceptional, as is the rest of the hotel. Our lagoon villa offered complete privacy and peacefulness and was very well equipped. The breakfasts were exceptional with a tremendous choice on offer. We had dinner at the neighbouring Angsana hotel one evening and dinner in the Banyan Tree another. Food and service in both was wonderful. All staff that we met were friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel; no one will be disappointed if they stay here. Special thanks to Jade who always had a warm smile and went out of her way to be helpful, she also arranged a birthday cake which was a surprise delivered to our villa.
