Banyan Tree Lang Co

This was our third stay at Banyan Tree Lang Co (May 9–17), a place we have grown genuinely fond of over the years. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite match the standard we had come to expect. Two days before arrival, we were informed that the villa we had booked three months in advance would no longer be available. That was a disappointing start. The replacement villa had several maintenance issues upon check-in. To the team's credit, everything was addressed promptly, but it left us wondering whether the villa had been properly inspected before our arrival. What made these situations more uncomfortable was the way they were handled. We were travelling with friends, and on several occasions the issues were discussed in front of them rather than in a private, one-to-one conversation. For matters relating to our booking or our villa, a more discreet approach would have been appreciated. Over a nine-day stay, we were assigned nearly four different villa hosts, which made it difficult to build any rapport or continuity. Part of what makes Banyan Tree special is that personal touch, and the constant rotation worked against it. We were also surprised to find the resort shop running low on a number of signature items — silk kimonos in common sizes, Banyan Tree soaps — the kind of things you look forward to bringing home. That said, the warmth of the staff remains the resort's greatest strength. Everyone we crossed paths with was kind, attentive, and eager to help. A special mention goes to Chez Nho at breakfast, who was consistently wonderful — always cheerful and ready to respond to every request with a smile. We love this property and hope these points are taken as constructive feedback from guests who very much want to keep coming back.

We had a fantastic experience in this exceptional resort, made even more special by the warmth and sincerity of the team led by Dao and Franck. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and caring, with a remarkable attention to detail that turns a beautiful stay into a truly memorable experience. A very special mention to Chef Nho at Watercourt restaurant, for her kindness, professionalism, and the wonderful moments they helped create every morning. Managed by Helen and Thao, the spa experience was simply outstanding, with treatments of an exceptional level and a unique sense of care for each guest. Banyan Tree Lang Co is one of those rare places where you immediately feel you want to return again and again. Every visit feels magical, thanks not only to the beauty of the resort, but above all to the quality of the welcome, the genuine human touch, and the constant attention given by every member of the team. A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Banyan Tree Lang Co was exceptional in every way and will remain in our best memories forever. Since we were already able to get to know the Banyan Tree Samui over a long time and had wonderful experiences there, this time we decided on the Banyan Tree Lang Co in Vietnam. We were able to enjoy our beach villa to the fullest for five weeks - and every single day was characterized by warmth, the highest quality of service and real hospitality. We were particularly impressed by the unexceptional friendliness of all the staff of the resort. You can feel the great commitment and passion of the entire team in every area. The entire facility was always in an extremely well-kept and beautiful condition - a big compliment and thank you to the team of gardeners, who provide this dreamlike atmosphere with a lot of dedication. The restaurant teams also inspired us every day. The service was consistently excellent, attentive and professional. All dishes were always freshly prepared and were of the highest quality. Our individual wishes and special requests were always fulfilled promptly, reliably and with great cordiality. A very special thank you goes to Nho and her entire team. We were extremely friendly, attentive and lovingly taken care of every single day. We would like to express our greatest appreciation and esteem for this exceptional warmth and care. We would also like to thank our hosts Man and Jade from the bottom of our hearts. Both were there for us almost around the clock and met us at any time with extraordinary friendliness, the highest respect and great helpfulness. Whether for organizational questions or the planning of our excursions - no wish remained unfulfilled. Another highlight of our stay were the rides with our chauffeur Hung. With his safe driving style, his friendly and respectful nature as well as his interesting information, he has made every trip a special experience. Even on later return trips, Hung was always courteous and committed. His excellent restaurant recommendations in Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An were absolute hits. Thank you very much for that. Our final and special thanks go to the management of the resort, especially Dau and Hieu, for their tireless efforts to provide us with unforgettable days. We are aware that the success of such a resort is only possible through extraordinary commitment, great passion, a lot of strength and daily commitment of all employees.
