Banyan Tree Lang Co

We spent four nights here and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The hotel is a bit out of the way so if daily touring and/or exploring to Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An is your plan you may need to be prepared for a lot of driving time (1-2 hours each way). We took one all day trip to Hoi An which was very much worth the time and effort to get there and the hotel arranged the driver and vehicle for us with no issues at a reasonable cost. With that said, the hotel is situated overlooking a beautiful beach and the views from the hillside villas is fabulous. We had a one bedroom ocean view pool suite that was absolutely perfect. The villa itself was very large, with a large dining area, living room and spacious bedroom and bathroom, and it also had a guest bathroom and kitchen area. The towels and linens were top notch, the bed very comfy and the exterior deck was amazing with a nice sized pool and our villa had a small hot tub although not all of the unites do apparently. The service was absolutely impeccable, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the dinner options plentiful with excellent food. They also have an excellent golf course on site that is very well maintained and fun to play. As the villas are all located above the main resort area buggy service is a must and it was provided in a quick and easy fashion with short waits. Housekeeping was quick and efficient and plenty of bottle water was provided on a daily basis, as was the in room coffee. All in all we had a great stay and we look forward to a return visit.

We had a great stay at the Banyan Tree! All rooms have a beautiful private infinity pool, jacuzzi, and gazebo with a nice day bed - it was the perfect configuration for outdoor relaxation, and in some of the villas the space is pretty private. Personal areas also contribute to a nice quiet feel at the resort, since aside from during peak breakfast, the grounds aren't very crowded (people must be spending time enjoying their personal outdoor space). The hotel's beach was quite expansive and private as well. Their flagship restaurant, Saffron, should not be missed, and it also had an excellent and inexpensive afternoon tea with many good savory and sweet bites. Throughout the resort, food was beautifully presented, and the cocktails were excellent and varied. At the breakfast buffet, the daily homemade noodle soups and the fruit spread were the standouts. Our room manager Mi responded to our Whatsapp messages almost instantly and was very patient as we tweaked our activities and dining reservations. At the spa, Nikki and Orange were a step above - so skilled, thorough, and focused on requested areas. The Wellbeing Villas is highly recommended if you like massages and wellness activities. We have stayed at many hotels over the decades and I can say that this hotel is simply the best we have ever been to. From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly pampered and looked after like VIP’s thanks to the wonderful team of people, who were genuinely welcoming and so very caring. Our room was superb, lots of wonderful personal touches. Spotlessly cleaned and very comfortable. The various restaurants catered for everyone’s tastes. The location is 2 hours from Danang but that was what we wanted completely peace and quiet. It’s also easy to do day trips. You are assigned a villa host, almost like a personal assistant . Who will organise anything you need, activities, excursions, golf. My husband loved the golf course. Our room host Jade, meticulously looked after our every need, we really loved this girl - so Banyan Tree management, please make sure you praise his young lady. Man as well was really good, and shout out to My in Azura restaurant who was excellent. You can take bikes or a golf cart around the resort - great fun. We are already planning to return next year!

Staying at Banyan Tree Lang Co is really about slowing down and being present. Our mornings naturally began with the gym and yoga, followed by a fresh and comforting local Vietnamese breakfast…an easy, grounding start to each day. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was a private Vietnamese cooking class led by the wonderful Chef Nho Le, who made everything feel effortless, engaging, and genuinely fun. The experience was hands-on and thoughtfully paced, and we learned to prepare: • Gỏi cuốn — fresh Vietnamese summer rolls with herbs, prawns, crunchy vegetables, and sweet-sour fish sauce • Chạo tôm — shrimp paste wrapped around sugarcane sticks, crispy on the outside and juicy inside • Bánh khọt — mini savoury rice cakes topped with scallops, quail egg, herbs, and dipping sauce After that, we also mastered Vietnamese egg coffee (cà phê trứng)…rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. A huge thank you to Tay from the Water Court restaurant team for patiently teaching us and making the experience so enjoyable. The Lang Co experience tour was another standout, arranged by our villa host, Jade, offering a lovely glimpse into local life through basket boats and fishing activities. Lunch was exceptional, seafood prepared simply and beautifully, steamed with lemongrass and lime so the natural freshness truly shone. The rest of the day was all about slowing down: spending quiet time on the resort’s private beach, relaxing back at the villa, and ending with one of the most deeply relaxing massages at the Banyan Tree spa. A heartfelt thank you to beautiful Chef Nho Le for such a memorable cooking class, to the Water Court restaurant crew and Tay for their warmth and hospitality, and to our villa host, Jade, whose kindness and attention to detail made our stay feel truly personal. This is a place where thoughtful service, authentic experiences, and peaceful luxury come together seamlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and leave feeling genuinely restored.

We stayed in Banyan Tree resort for 4 wonderful nights. The location is absolutely beautiful and the all the staff, especially Tuan, are the most friendly and helpful ever. We were treated like royalty from beginning to end. The beach villa was amazing, spotlessly clean, stylish, and so comfortable. Every meal was delicious with excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back for a much longer visit.
