This was our second visit to the resort, following our first stay approximately nine years ago. Significant changes have occurred since then, and unfortunately, not for the better. The property is in urgent need of refurbishment. The service did not meet the high standards we have come to expect from other Four Seasons properties, and the dining options in the restaurants were merely average. Most concerning was the lack of cleanliness throughout the resort, with litter visible on the beach, around the pool, and in the surrounding outdoor areas. Regrettably, due to this disappointing experience, we will not be returning.

We have been to the Four Seasons Langkawi before and I’m sure we will be back again. Why? The rooms: amazing, comfortable. We’ve stayed both on ground floor and upper floors. The bathrooms in particular are stunning. The rooms are quiet, and the outdoors jacuzzi in the ground floor rooms is amazing. Perfect for a family with two young children. The grounds: you are in the jungle, with all its noises and some wildlife (monkeys do come by the rooms). The restaurants: Ikan Ikan - their Udang Karipole makes it worth it to travel halfway around the world. Kelapa Grill - great for lunch, close to the family pool and the kids club (which my daughter loved, with great activities and brilliant staff). Hava - recently opened and genuinely the best Indian meal we had in many years. The best part? The chef made sure to do an allergy safe menu for my daughter who suffers from allergies. There are too many people to thank, lots of them familiar faces from previous years: Ain, Firbaus, Nizam, Shaz, Balquis, Hifas, Vikrant, Mr Mo, Ravi and the amazing Sandesh. Plus all the other staff whose name I have missed, and all the anonymous staff that takes care of the grounds, makes things work and contributes to make every stay feel special. An extra special thank you for the staff at the Kids Club. My daughter loved her time there and already asked when will we be back. Soon…

We had a great time in this amazing resort. The rooms are very spacious, the swimming pools are large and beautiful and the staff is very nice and friendly! I would like to mention Hasrul at the family pool that has always been extremely friendly, Nissha and Jo at the Lutong kids club that did an amazing job and Balqis that took great care of us at breakfast!

We recently stayed for 4-days over the Easter break in a partial sea view ground floor pavilion. The location of the resort is simply stunning situated on a huge, white sandy beach overlooking the Andaman Sea towards Thailand. You can pick up complimentary bicycles from the gym for the duration of your stay which makes moving around the resort fun and easy. Strolling along the beach to watch the sunset from the Rhu Bar provides some wonderful holiday memories. The resort never feels crowded and we certainly never had any problems finding sunbeds at either the family pool or adult only pool (& we were there over Easter). The adult pool is an oasis of calm and serenity. Even if the cabanas are full there are plenty of other sunbeds available around the poolside but also nearby on the beach with parasols and shade. The family pool also offers quiet corners but rarely gets overcrowded. The poolside team work tirelessly providing fresh towels and iced water. Our daughter (9yrs) absolutely loved the kids club, which offered a full programme of activities from henna tattoos, friendship bracelet making and batik etc. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed with twice daily service. Food options are plentiful and varied – we ate in all the resort restaurants but also took a stroll along the beach (15mins) to Scarborough Fish and Chips, which is well worth a visit. This was our 3rd visit to the hotel and it never disappoints. The amazing jungle location and five star facilities coupled with friendly staff who all go out of their way to look after you make for a truly memorable stay and wish to return.
