Zero Customer Service at ARIA. Never AGAIN!

Hey there! So, I'm not usually one to write reviews, good or bad, but I just had to spill the beans on my recent Vegas escapade for the sake of my fellow adventurers. Let me tell you, Vegas has really been through some changes lately. This latest trip was like a wake-up call to how much things have shifted over time. Here's the scoop: My wife and I are Vegas regulars, usually kicking back at the Bellagio as Platinum members. But this time, we decided to switch things up and give the Aria a shot for the first time. Our ride from the airport was smooth sailing, and we were fast-tracked through the private sky suites entrance for a quick check-in. Settling into our sky suites room, I was craving a cup of joe and some water after the long haul, only to find out there were no complimentary water bottles in sight. And get this, the coffee machine had Keurig pods - one decaf and one Nabob. For a room that costs a cool $1500 per night, you'd think they could spare a couple of water bottles or even a Nespresso machine, right? As someone who loves hitting the tables, I reached out to the casino hosts multiple times before my trip for help with reservations. But despite their promises to get back to me, I never heard a peep. Feeling a bit miffed, I swung by the casino host office when I arrived. The guy there was all promises about taking care of my requests, but he never followed through on texting me his contact info like he said he would. On one afternoon while we were moving tables, the card dealer asked us if we were going to smoke our cigars there? We said, yes, thats our intention. She said there is nothing I can do about it, but i dont want my hair to smell like smoke. I could not beleive it.. she is working at a smoking table in the smoking room. WTF? All other tables were full so we stopped gambling and went to the /Talon Room at the /Cosmo. (This is a must) s. We play a minimum of $500 a hand and an other customer service fail. Now, I'm not one to demand the red carpet treatment, but when my buddy and I wired over $35k to get our game on, you'd expect a bit more help with reservations and golf bookings, right? Thank goodness for OpenTable coming to the rescue. All in all, this trip was the final straw for me with MGM resorts. For my upcoming adventures this year, I'm looking to shake things up and give Wynn and the Venetian a shot. Here's hoping they still know how to treat a guest right!

Best hotel in Vegas!!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this hotel! From the excellent check-in customer service from Janie at the front desk to the comfortable beds, the all-day cleaning service, the exquisite pool area, and the excellent location and ambiance, the Aria is a hit!

Over Rated!

We are at the Aria now and we won’t be back. It’s dates for sure but also just not clean, the dirt on the carpet between walls and bed and night stand is gross. The amount of dust everywhere is crazy. Upon entry there was dirty Kleenex and paper in the floor that we picked up. After cleaning the room today they took roll of toilet paper off roll and never replaced it but luckily there was one here for us. We have always stayed at Bellagio and will definitely go back there after this.

Absolutely disgusting

See photos. Upon checking in, found the following: 1) Massive pile of hair on top of the drain in the shower (not mine - I’m blonde) 2) Faucets were covered with some sort residue that was green and crusty 3) Wooden shelf under the sink where the towels were sitting had a splatter of something white (I don’t even want to think about what it may have been, but by the picture you can’t rule out the possibility it’s semen) Called front desk and housekeeping 3 times over 2 days and above items were not cleaned. By the 3rd night, drain was finally cleaned but I changed my flight to the red eye so I didn’t have to stay another night. The front desk said the best they could offer was to waive the resort fee ($30 / day) or a $100 food credit. I was there for work so my company paid for my room and clients hosted dinner so their offers did zero to compensate me personally for having to stay in such a filthy room. It was disgusting and I’ll never go back.

Fake Luxury

The Aria does not hold up against the Wynn or Bellagio for a luxury experience. Upon check-in there was a 45 minute wait and not a single friendly greeting. The staff would continue the aloof and rude attitudes for the next 5 days. My wife was rudely kicked out of the lobby bar area as I was on the casino using the ATM so I could spend cash. The room was not clean as it had a used napkin on the floor next to the chair. However, the restaurants were outstanding. Perhaps the staff could take a cue from the customer service provided at the restaurants. If you can get in under 150 then it's worth it but it's not worth the luxury pricing currently charged.
