Duped by the Bellagio

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 23 hours ago

I've never written a review on TripAdvisor but I feel so duped by the Bellagio that I had to. I'm really confused how this place is considered a 5-star hotel. It's 3-star at best. As soon as I walked through the casino to the elevator and up to my room, I had a feeling that I should check out and stay somewhere else but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations. Pros: -Check in was fast and service was friendly. -The room's bathroom was really nice. Loved the big shower. -Most staff that I interacted with were friendly Cons: -The buffet. I went for breakfast. This is NOT a 5-star breakfast buffet, not even close. The cappuccino/latte/espresso machine didn't work. The scrambled eggs tasted and looked like they were made from powdered eggs. I saw one of the workers spraying something on the food and when I asked him what it was he said it was "to keep the food looking fresh". Overall, I would say the buffet is closer to cafeteria food. -Room service food was also subpar. I ordered wings--they were so dry I couldn't eat them. And it came in to go boxes. -I understand it's Vegas but I didn't feel safe walking around the casino. There were a lot of trashed people, questionable people walking about, it was not a good vibe. -I found the decor and appearance of the hotel and casino to be super outdated and old. Just not for me and wouldn't stay again.

Fatima Went Above and Beyond at Giardini Las Vegas

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I recently visited Giardini inside Bellagio Las Vegas and had an exceptional experience thanks to Fatima. She truly stands out as an amazing associate—friendly, attentive, and highly professional. Fatima made sure every detail was taken care of, and her warm approach made me feel right at home. It’s clear she genuinely cares about providing top-notch service. I’m so grateful for her help and look forward to visiting Giardini again because of her wonderful support.

Always a Treat!

Fabulous iconic hotel in the prime area of the strip. Massive, clean, beautifully appointed rooms with fantastic view. Always a joy to visit the Bellagio and take in the decor and overall positive energy of the hotel.

Love the staff at The Bellagio!

I want to give a big shout out to Rosaly at check in and Steven the in salon make up artist. Even though we were Rosaly last customers before she finished her shift (and it was late) she made us feel incredibly special and valued guest of The Bellagio. It really got our holiday off to the best start. We were getting married and Rosaly was so excited for us, even though she must hear it 100 times a day!!! Steven was awesome doing my make-up too. I booked last minute for an evening out (50 Cent at Drai's) as I already had my wedding make up sorted. He was incredible. Make-up lasted all evening and lashes until the next day! Loved chatting with him, like an old friend I'd known for years. Love the Bellagio and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Not too good...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This is a review of the buffet only. After having the buffet at Ceasars, we thought this would be just as good, if not better. Best thing I could say was at least it was cheaper. The selection was smaller, but that wasn't the issue. The shrimp cocktail was watery and tasteless. The cocktail sauce was just as bad. The pasta was ok but the prime rib was tough. I got a beef rib which should be very tender, but between being tough and very salty, it was pretty much inedible. The turkey was a bit dry but the gravy helped. The stuffing was too wet, almost seemed undercooked, and ridiculously salty. Dessert was ok with a limited selection. I would recommend skipping this one unless they really step up their game.
