Bellagio

It was great. Got into the room at 10am (flew in from the East Coast). Two-bedroom suite 34060 was completely over the top. You will just have to stay there, as I cannot say enough. Plenty of staff to help everywhere. From check-in to check-out, awesome.

The Bellagio is always a great stay, the staff is friendly and the location of the resort is perfect. Enjoyed eating at Noodles and Prime the food at these two restaurants is always top notch.

We recently stayed at the Bellagio for a milestone birthday celebration. The property is iconic, and many parts of the stay were enjoyable. The transportation staff, room service, housekeeping, and pool/cabana team were all wonderful, helpful, and professional. We had the foundation view King; the room itself was okay, and we enjoyed the view of the Strip. That said, the hotel itself felt a bit dated in some areas and was extremely busy, which is probably to be expected for such a central hotel on the Strip. Still, given the Bellagio’s reputation and pricing, we expected a more polished and seamless experience. Unfortunately, our first impression at check-in was very disappointing. I arrived separately from my husband, and we had called the hotel directly two days prior to add my name to the reservation. Despite this, the front desk agent, Marine, was abrupt and dismissive from the start. Rather than greeting me courteously or helping resolve the reservation details, she questioned me in a way that felt unnecessarily confrontational. When I asked for an estimated timeframe for when the room might be ready, she responded, “The room will be ready when it’s ready, and have fun.” I had dinner plans and needed a place to get ready, but she did not offer any helpful information about bag storage, changing areas, or other options. I also had to ask for the Luxury Hotel Collection amenities information (booked through Chase Reserve) that is typically provided at check-in, and even that interaction felt dismissive. Another guest in our group also had a negative interaction with the same front desk agent, which made the experience feel less like a one-off misunderstanding and more like a concerning customer service issue. We later learned that this guest was given a timeframe for their room readiness, while I was not. After about three hours without receiving the text update I was told to expect, my husband called the hotel and was informed that the room was ready. This review is not meant to reflect poorly on the entire Bellagio team. Many staff members were excellent and helped make other parts of the stay enjoyable. However, the front desk experience was unwelcoming and unprofessional, which was especially disappointing at a property that presents itself as a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, this was not a five-star experience for us. There are other four- and five-star hotels on the Strip with similar pricing, if not lower, that offer better front desk service and have rooms available when they say check-in begins. The Bellagio is a beautiful and well-known hotel, but based on this experience, we would likely choose another comparable property in the future.

We have stayed in Bellagio as a group many many times before and this was by far the worst I have ever had. We were greeted at the door by some doorman asking for a $30 delivery free for a box we had by force. I wasn't allowed to just do it myself, it was like a mandatory fee. We ordered room service, it was the worst food I have had in a very long time. Soup tasted like plastic, wings tasted like dry chewy rubber... It cost us an arm and a leg. It was the worst food ever. Opened a chips bag in the room, that literally had 5 pcs of chips that was so dry because of how old it probably was and after check out they charged us $30 for it. And on the last day, we had sickness and our flight was delayed, so we asked for a few more hours for check out due to health reasons... We were asked to pay an extra fee that was 3 times our regular daily rate to extend the check out for a few hours.... Since when did you guys become so cheap and annoying? I hope to never be back.
