Amazing stay and enjoyed the VIP Lounge
I had a really enjoyable stay at Bellagio! The resort is beautiful and the service was very good throughout my visit. I also spent some time in the VIP Lounge which I really enjoyed. It was nice having a quieter place to relax and take a break from everything going on around the resort and casino. The staff in the lounge were all very nice but Althea from VIP especially stood out to me. She was very kind and personable, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. She has a naturally charming personality and made every interaction feel easy and welcoming. I really appreciated how friendly she was whenever I saw her. Very positive experience overall!!!! Bellagio definitely made a good impression on me.

Our exceptional experience began at Check-In with the front desk assistant LAVINA - she was charming, and Bellagio should be proud to have her as a front-facing agent. It was our 48th anniversary, and she was so accommodating, even saying hi every time we walked by the front desk area. She always had a positive spark in her eyes and a warm smile.

Nice rooms, but very crowded with expensive food
There are beautiful mosaics and other decorations in the lobby area. While there are many staff members to help out, the facility is very, very crowded. The room pricing is reasonable, but the 'regular' food is pretty expensive and you should be super careful if you have a minifridge or snacks in your room. If you even pick an item up to look at, you'll be charged and all the items are quite expensive for what you get. The rooms are very nice (spacious, comfortable beds, etc.), although the decor is a bit dated. The building layout forces you to walk through the casino to get to your hotel room from the registration desk. This isn't a huge deal, but it's quite a hike from your car to your room. The casino is fine although it's essentially just another casino. There's not any physical separation between the smoking and non-smoking areas. Since they don't seem to enforce not smoking in the non-smoking areas, you can smell the smoke in most of the casino (the level varies depending on where you're at).
