Reviews for Bellagio

Platinum is Worthless

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 12 hours ago

Absolutely a nightmare trying to check in. Literally a zoo of disorganization. Platinum check-in is essentially hidden from view. Called 3 times prior to checking in for a week long stay in reference to a possible flower arrangement or cake to be delivered for a 30th birthday. VIP services stated that they don’t handle that type of request. Never once was I asked if I’d like a host. Having 3 rooms with 8 ppl, a host could have been extremely helpful but obviously not a concern of management. Even though we stayed at the Bellagio, we gamed mostly at the Palms, Rio, Downtown, and Caesars. I’ve stayed at the Cosmo, Aria, Bellagio from 2025-26. All are beautiful but the personal attention or help is lacking to say the least. Rather than start searching for help, it’s easier to go elsewhere due to the immediate attentiveness and help. It took me 2 hours to get flowers arranged. They were perfect but it took valuable time away from other adventures. The 3 calls prior went up in smoke. Housekeeping was perfect but I didn’t stay in a 2000 sq ft suite for the in house cleaning. Someone from management called on the evening prior to departure and was told I was in the lobby retrieving my folio. He asked my son “How was your stay”?. He told the Bellagio contact that I would be the person to ask. No one ever spoke with me before, during, or after my stay. I have received an email in response to my issues. But never have I spoken to anyone. Also, I reserved seating for 8 at Lago via the MGM rewards app and selected the VIP option. Our seating literally was between the waiter station and open kitchen area. I had to find the manager in order to change out seating. Food was perfect but the 2 hostesses took offense to my seating change and were rude when we all exited the restaurant. VIP reservations mean nothing. Save your money if you are thinking you will receive any extra service or care from being a platinum member. There is zero benefit other than a seperate check in line which is noted by a 12 inch placard which tells you that they don’t want to advertise that designation. If you are lucky enough to find the correct line, they do have a few snacks and mini waters. Ironically, after being home for less than a week, I’ve received 2 letters from MGM competitors requesting future visits along with generous offerings. Now that is surprising and a nice change. A hotel that recognizes your value and responds quickly.

We were in town for a hockey game, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bellagio. Staff are top notch, and treated us very well.

not a Pleasant stay this time

Was expected to get upgraded as part of Amex fine hotel, but got a room that is a mile from the elevator and have no view. Parking on Saturday was a nightmare, more than 1 hour to find any parking spot, seems Bellagio preference their Party attendees over their guest, paying 20$ a day for parking expecting to have a reasonable handicapped or regular parking spot but their was non and took more than an hour to find any. This was my 3rd or 4th time staying and always had great room and no issues finding parking. The lady checked me in was not friendly and didn't seem happy to see us
