We absolutely loved our stay this week at The Bellagio. The decor is beautiful, the fountains are gorgeous, our room was luxurious and the location can’t be beat. It’s definitely worth booking a romantic fountain-view room if possible. Sadelle’s and the Patisserie were great for breakfast and we enjoyed the Lago restaurant also. The staff throughout the hotel that assisted us were truly excellent.

The Bellagio staff and management really make you feel special, even though there are thousands of guests. Additionally, you can expect a lot of people not staying at the hotel to visit for the casino, shopping, a show, or to view the fountains. The lobby is gorgeous with glass sculptures in the ceiling and a well staffed front desk and concierge desk. The Bellagio resort is huge with everything you could ever want in a Las Vegas trip. Bottom line: the Bellagio lives up to the hype and is in the middle of all the Vegas attractions.

Had a wonderful time @ Bellagio. Staff very friendly. The people at the front desk were very helpful.

Room and location were great. Only downside was that there is no coffee maker in the room. If you want to have a coffee before you are ready for the day you have to go to Starbucks, stand in line and pay a fortune for a regular coffee.

Pros: The room has a desk suitable for working on a laptop, and the lighting is relatively decent. Cons: 1. The biggest issue: the shower handle was almost impossible to turn. An engineer had to use an alarming amount of force to get it working. To be fair, I was turning it the correct way but I failed due to not using so much force. No one would dare apply that much force when the handle is already creaking and visibly flexing. I discovered this in the middle of the night. After calling housekeeping, I was asked to wait on the phone for three minutes, then waited another 40 minutes for someone to arrive(wtf?). 2. Second: the hot water system is shockingly bad. Hot water takes about 30 seconds to arrive, and even the cold water takes 6 seconds to kick in(wtf?). I’ve honestly experienced better water response on airplanes. This is far worse than what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. 3. Additionally, the towels had an unpleasant odor, the bathroom door doesn’t close properly due to misalignment, and the vanity door doesn’t lock at all.
