Reviews for Bellagio

Janet

Janet Reginaldo in Essantials is the best employee ever. I had an item get coffee spilled on it and she went above and beyond in helping me, a regular guest of the Hotel several times a year. Hopefully management notices Janet's hard work and I cant thank her enough.

Worst hotel experience in 40 years of travel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 hours ago

Update 05/14/2026. After returning to the front desk 7 hours after asking for a manager to call me. I finally talked to a manager. She said she would look into these issues and look for a new room. This was about noon. After talking to the manager and listing the issues, including staff ignoring the do not disturb sign being hung, I return to my room to talk to my partner. She was still in bed. I changed and headed out to a local store. The do not disturb sign is still hanging on the door when I leave. While driving to the store my partner text and asked if I had just come back into the room and turned and left? I said no, she was shocked and worried! She asked if the do not disturb was hanging and I said yes. She said that she was still in bed, heard no knock and the door open, someone came in and then turned and left! I called the manager and asked what the hell was going on? They promised again to look into it and get back to me. 6 hours later while at a work dinner they called to let me know a room was ready. Immediately after dinner and 15 minutes before a company event, I stopped at front desk to ask for the keys so I could go check out the room. I was told that the hotel was sold out and it would be an inconvenience for them to have both rooms opened to me! I did not have time to go pack up and move and was not very excited to move into a new room without seeing first. I declined the room and decided to discuss with manager in the morning. More construction and just got up at 6am because of the noise. When I called to speak to the manager I Was handed off to someone I think was an admin and not management. To sum this up they offered me some credit towards a future stay…. Their lack of concern for the invasion into my room while my partner was still in bed has left me shocked and I have no desire to return to the Bellagio. A week of discomfort and they offer nothing! At this point I feel they should comp a night or 2 to my company, but they are not even welling to do that! In town for work and three days in a row construction began before 6am, in the space below my room. Third day it started at 5am, this was after complaining to hotel the day before. Their first offer was to credit my bill for some small amount. This makes my company happy but does nothing for me. Their next offer was $200 food and beverage credit. Still good for my company but again I suffer with no recourse. Their third offer was to move me but there were no rooms available. Requested to talk to a manager and 7 hours later still no call from a manager. No room and no resolution. The whole trip at the hotel has been a big failure! While numerous staff members have been great, some of the staff in the convention center have been rude and aggressive! Housekeeping staff knocked on door even though the do not disturb sign was hanging. Hotel is partner with Marriott, and prior to booking, the hotel talked up the partnership and how we would be treated greatly based on our Marriott award level. I am a Titanium Elite with Marriott. I was assured by hotel that room upgrades could be done based on my Marriott status and even the upgrade certificates I had were useable. Upon arriving they put me in the regular check in line, 30 minute wait. The priority line would have been about 10 minutes or less. The hotel then refused to honor my suite upgrade certificate, even after promising they would honor. Then said would call if any upgrade came up. They never called. The next day I checked with front desk and then was told that they would not upgrade based on Marriott status, as they were partners with Marriott, not a Mariott property. It just goes on and on. Still need to talk to Marriott, and hope they can fix this, after the fact. The hotel is very nice but in this case they failed and failed badly! Two aspects of the room, 1) very low water pressure, and 2) I was on sunset side of the tower. Even with air at 60 degrees 24 hours a day and curtain shut all afternoon we found the room hot well past 10pm.

TRADING PLACES - the movie

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

TRADING PLACES. I used to come to the Bellagio as a high roller through the private driveway greeted by butlers, staff, alcohol and all I wanted. When I arrived this time, I was given the worst room in the hotel on the 7th floor right above the freeway at the end of a long hall - even though I had booked a suite and noticed them I had a service dog. I had to beg and plead tk get an upgrade for a room. The Bellagio has slipped from its hey day. It is not in the class of the Wynn or Encore. The restaurants have dipped, the service has dipped, the entire experience. It still is an amazing property but I will most likely not stay there again. I have a 25 year history with the hotel so this is a big statement. I joked to management of the movie trading places because I was once treated as royalty and now I'm given the worst room in the hotel. Oh well. I biked

Convenient and luxurious experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This has been the hotel I return to in Vegas each time I visit. Although I must say after the snippy check in service with the receptionist (Asian woman whose name I regrettably forgot), I’m considering another hotel when I return. You get convenience and many unique experiences at the Bellagio. Whether you’re getting a standard room or one of the luxury suites, every moment feels like luxury when you step in. Their cafe has the best lattes but be prepared to wait in line. Their restaurants are expensive but worth the unique experiences they provide (except for Como—it’s new and probably still working out some kinks). Standing around to wait for the stunning famous fountain show is one of my favorite pastimes while exploring Vegas. I only wish they did more to have special experiences for guests staying at the hotel versus those just touring.
