Pros: The room has a desk suitable for working on a laptop, and the lighting is relatively decent. Cons: 1. The biggest issue: the shower handle was almost impossible to turn. An engineer had to use an alarming amount of force to get it working. To be fair, I was turning it the correct way but I failed due to not using so much force. No one would dare apply that much force when the handle is already creaking and visibly flexing. I discovered this in the middle of the night. After calling housekeeping, I was asked to wait on the phone for three minutes, then waited another 40 minutes for someone to arrive(wtf?). 2. Second: the hot water system is shockingly bad. Hot water takes about 30 seconds to arrive, and even the cold water takes 6 seconds to kick in(wtf?). I’ve honestly experienced better water response on airplanes. This is far worse than what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. 3. Additionally, the towels had an unpleasant odor, the bathroom door doesn’t close properly due to misalignment, and the vanity door doesn’t lock at all.

I’ve travelled a lot to Vegas. Always for business. But it has been a few years. This trip was both business and fun with family. It’s still the same bellagio. Just older and more expensive. Just like Vegas really. I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about the prices and lack of amenities like coffee in the room. It’s Vegas! They never have anything they can’t overcharge you for. No coffee. No water fountains. Nothing that is free. The bad side of bellagio is it is the number 1 attraction on the strip. It’s noisy. It’s got dogs. It’s got people everywhere. It has kids and is smoke filled. Absolutely don’t gamble there. Go elsewhere. It’s 30 bucks for a pot of coffee and 30 bucks for them to bring it up. However it was really decent coffee. Worked out to 10 bucks a cup. You can go to the coffee stand and get. Takes about an hour and still 10 bucks a cup. On the other hand the hotel is still in good shape. Book a renovated room. Prices are very steep. Depends on what is important. I’m an amputee with celiac disease. I need a good shower and a spacious comfortable room as I need a place of refuge. We stayed at bellagio because they have good gf restaurants. They were great but very expensive. Water pressure highest I’ve ever seen. Water out of tap tasted good. Must be filtered as Vegas water is pretty bad. If you just want to see the bellagio fountains and other attractions and don’t care about room quality stay across the street and walk over. I saw the same thing every day. Hoards of people coming in to see the show and hoards of bellagio guests trying to get away from the hoards and find food and water more economically priced. We did struggle to get checked in. Wasn’t that busy. Mid week but finally got a room at 8 pm. They offered us a different room. Not renovated. Smaller. No discount. Hard pass.

Upon arrival, the hotel was impressive and as one would expect for the price and reputation. During check in we were helped by Renee/Raul. He was very polite and helpful. Even gave us some food and drink vouchers. When we arrived to the room, it was definitely lacking in the cleanliness dept. One of the chairs in the room had food crumbs, the table wasn't very clean and the bathroom needed attention. However, my real issue was on the 2nd night of our stay, I found blood stains on one of the bed pillows. The staff was very apologetic and did comp our resort fees for the stay. Overall, the hotel was nice. Food was great, table attendants were friendly and helpful to our amateur gambling group.

Great property and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very clean with wonderful amenities. Definitely will stay there again next time we are in Vegas.

While the location of Bellagio is central, you are better of staying at Vdara or Aria for the quality of the property. Rooms, restaurants, hotel, casino... are all dated and needs a refresh. For the price, its definitely not a value property.
