Charming Italian Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

I could not have stayed at a more staff friendly Vegas hotel on the strip in some time. It was a week long stay. During the entire time I was there the total ambiance and visual candy made the stay well worth the time and money well spent. There is a reason why this establishment is well regarded with a 5 star class distinction.

Baggage handlers are the worst. Hope management will address this bagging for Tips behavior Unacceptable

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Visited Bellagio for a short trip and was very surprised about the lack of customer service from the Baggage/luggage handlers Bunch of middle aged dudes that are very nice and turn super grumpy if they don’t get a tip. They keep pushing and bagging for tips and shamelessly asking for money and larger tips. Not sure how management allows and tolerate this but the behavior is completely unacceptable. I’ve been to over 320 hotels in the last 18 years and I’ve never experience such abusive behavior. They are like some type of mafia begging for tips. “Reminding” everyone This service is Free but we work for tips. I personally dropped my bag to the dedicated door and guy was begging for tips. Then I go and pick it up and another person asking for a tips. They give you receipt saying something along the lines - complimentary service but tips highly recommended… what the heck The interactions with those individuals during checking and check out left me with very bitter feelings. Check in person try to upsell us $500 so we can get in our room 2 hrs earlier than 3pm. I had an option for early check in $50, so her upsell tactic was shady. Room was nice upgraded and clean however the shower door was not closing completely and was sagging around the hinges. I really hope management does some type Of training with those individuals to address this homeless like behavior

We had an amazing room overlooking the fountain. Great restaurant choices, and great pool area. The location on the strip is awesome. Loved everything about this hotel.

Not worth it, even if it’s comped

Just didn’t meet our expectations. It’s the bellagio so we expected a perfect stay and it was not. First room, door in show was off hinge and room was extremely hot even tho we had the air down to 60. The guy who checked us in gave roses to other people but not to us. Also there was only 3 towels in the room for two people, that’s not enough. We called the next morning and asked them to clean our room, bring us more towels and told them about the air and the shower. We came back from a long day out and the room was never cleaned. Also it was still hot in the room. At this point I was infuriated. I called down and spoke with someone named Sam. He just kept trying to explain away all this issues. I didn’t need excuses, I needed someone to fix what was going on. He then insisted after I told him multiple times it was too late, that I should move my room. So I finally said yes. So we moved rooms at midnight. Hey said our keys would work. They didn’t. So we had to go to the front desk now past midnight to reset our keys. As we moved all of our stuff over the safe wouldn’t open so I had to wait on mechanics and a security guard to get my wallet out. The next morning we tested our keys and they didn’t work again. So we had to go to the front desk and have them fixed again. The next day we are at the Bellagio buffet. I got EXTREMELY sick after the meal. I was throwing up and lost the rest of the day due to the sickness and could not go out to dinner. We ordered room service for my wife and was charged 70$ for nachos and a drink. The side can was $9, just outrageous. Late that evening I was able to eat a little so she went down stairs to get me a Croissant from the little bakery across from harvest. The Croissant was frozen when she brought it up to me. She even asked them to warm it, but they didn’t. The next morning we tried again, they still didn’t warm my croissant and her chocolate croissant had a plastic piece inside of it. The last morning, we tried the bakery one more time. This time I wanted a croissant sandwich but they couldn’t make it without cheese, they said it was pre maid. At those prices there is no reason the sandwiches should be premaid. So instead they offered me a ham and egg crepe. It tasted horrible. I also got a tea, it was scolding hot, burned my whole mouth.
