So they don’t tell you they share the garage with the raiders. It took us an hour to get in the garage because it was some preseason event. ( and of course parking isn’t free anymore so it was terrible to pay to wait and be mixed in with raiders cars.) we paid for a strip view double queen and we got a low floor and the view was fine but the hotel didn’t seem to crowded so it was disappointing. Nothing felt magical or grand. It felt old. Pool was the best part of the property but it seemed silly to charge 200 dollars for an umbrella (it’s amazing they can build a sand beach and lazy river but can’t give out any free shade. Be real. Put up some shady areas. They seem to just want to charge for everything and not make Vegas fun. No incentive to come back to this property.

Parking is impossible. The owners' greed is obvious: they force everyone into the 4th-floor parking while the 2nd- and 3rd-floor parking is closed for charging, and there is no room to park on the 4th floor. Took me 30 minutes to find a spot. The staff is not very friendly and overworked.

Convenient for the show I attended. Good availability of dining. Rooms need some updating

I was really excited to stay at the Mandalay Bay, because I was attending a conference. I reserved the panoramic suite. I thought this would be the most beautiful room in the world. I checked in at 8:00 A.M., although before arriving, the hotel notified me to check in through concierge. They have a concierge entrance where they make arrangements for you to possibly get your room earlier. (That really wasn’t a problem, because we decided to go ahead and have breakfast and walk around the property.) The concierge lounge was very nice. They had refreshments and snacks, and you could enter the concierge lounge at any time during hours and pick up as many refreshments as you liked. Once entering the room, I was amazed by the beautiful panoramic view of Las Vegas. However, the room needed help. It was not worth what we paid to stay there. The best thing about the room was the mattress and bedding–I had great rest and slept well–but the room was used, tattered, and in need of repair. Here are my concerns with the room: Be careful with the mini bar/mini refrigerator in the room. If any items are moved from the display or the refrigerator is opened, you are charged. The items are 3-5 times the average cost. I asked for a mini refrigerator for personal items, but the mini fridge looked like it was dented, scratched, and scarred up. It was hard to read and tell the time on the clock by the king-sized bed, due to the inoperative lighting of the digital display. The furniture was deeply worn. They need an upgrade on some of the furnishings. The thermostat and temperature in the room was uncontrollable. It was very hot, and I was unable to cool off. They also used duct tape to cover the air vents on the window sills in the crease of the windows to control the thermostats. They used extension cords to connect the lights and lamps in parts of the room, which was questionable due to the capacity of the extension cord. The bathroom's shower and floors needed a deep cleaning. The suite itself was totally overpriced for what we received as far as cleanliness and expectations.

I called ahead to have two cribs in the room for my twin infants and was told no problem. Upon arrival we are told cribs aren’t available so we had to spend $300 at Walmart on pack and plays plus $110 in baggage fees to get them back home. Also requested and paid for adjoining rooms so that the babies could nap throughout the day in a separate quiet room but still be with us. Upon arrival no adjoining rooms were not available. Also the lazy river would have been cool if you provided floats. Who wants to buy pool floaties while on vacation and lug them back home? Advertised a fridge in the room but it’s totally unusable because it’s packed with “for purchase” items that can’t be removed without paying. Also, couldn’t even provide complimentary coffee for the room? For what we paid to stay there, all the extra costs seem ridiculous.
