Reviews for The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort

A Near Perfect Piece of Elegance

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

All rooms are suites and perfect for a bit of luxury in Vegas, situated nicely toward the centre north part of the strip, not too far from bus stops and the casino rail lines. Caesars in walkable distance. Clean hotel and casino with a variety of shops, cafes and eateries to enjoy. Recommend the cafe accessible on the second floor from the LOVE sign atrium. Gorgeous decor, friendly service, not too busy throughout the day and night, quite expensive but you get a suite with more amenities than you will likely use. Only gripe here was room unavailability when we checked in, but this was rectified the day after and we were waivered two days of resort fees.

Will NEVER stay there again despite a nice stay.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Why? You may ask would I never stay there again? Coffee. Yep. Coffee I thought it would be no big deal not to have a coffee maker in the room as there are several coffee outlets located close. However, we waited as much as 40 MINUTES for coffee in the morning and that’s just too much of an inconvenience at this price point. This is an issue at quite a few places on the strip including The Wynn and Bellagio. If you are not a coffee person this is an incredible property. It’s all suites and very well appointed. For us, housekeeping had exceptional attention to detail. It’s still a hotel room, so there was a small amount of dusty bits but the best we have seen in quite some time. Every member of staff was professional and helpful. The hospitality here is beyond reproach. Many restaurants and things to do on this end of the strip. They are on the pricey side so be aware but the Palazzo is a pricey hotel so it was expected. You can get rooms overlooking the Sphere as well. With all of this, you would think I wouldn’t make such a fuss over coffee but after the 3rd day, after even trying to order ahead, we just got tired of waiting. Coffee is a basic morning ritual for us and it just became a dealbreaker. Charge whatever you need to for pods from the mini bar but we need it in room.

Superb hotel.

Really liked the palazzo the suite was huge and we had a great view of the sphere. Felt very safe in the hotel lots of security and someone checking you scanned your room key to get to the lifts. Plenty of choices to eat. Grand luxe cafe was really good huge menu and portions.

Spacious, Clean Rooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

It was our first visit to the Palazzo but certainly won't be the last! The property was extremely clean along with helpful staff in all departments. The rooms were very spacious and included a sitting area. This was nice as we were able to pull out our laptops and work remotely without feeling cramped. The location is ideal for anyone visiting the Sphere (short walk). We were fortunate enough to secure a view of the Sphere from our room - what an amazing view! We spent an afternoon at the Canyon Ranch Spa. Highly recommend booking a service there. In combination with your service, you have the opportunity to use the spa facilities - saunas, steam rooms, hot tub, etc. Enjoyable afternoon.

2024: Still Expect heavy smoke exposure

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I’d read Venetian went non smoking back in November. What I didn’t see is that they reversed the decision. We are sensitive to smoke and there’s no way to get to your room without exposure we did discover on our own at the end of the trip that you can avoid some of it by going UP the escalators to the left before the casino to the second floor and then across to the room elevators. Also the room next to us was smoking MJ all weekend and it could be smelled in the hallway. So sad because the room was AMAZING. Also we really enjoyed the EPIc view of the Sphere. Well worth the extra money if you think it’s fun to watch. We did need to move rooms because the first room didn’t have a Sphere view even though we paid for one. The move was smooth and stars were very helpful but it was a 3 hour wait for the new room. Definitely LOVED the Sphere postcards show. Well worth it- seats are better and cheaper higher up center fyi. Bed was comfy!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. From the first encounter to the last they make you feel special, and like you are at a special hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The casino is large and laid out in a fashion that allows you to move around easily. Overall we loved this hotel and look forward to returning!
