My wife, five year-old son, and I stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand for six nights in July 2017. I'm an MLife member so we booked through MLife and received an upgrade to a one bedroom suite for only $20 per night extra. Our stay was exceptional in many ways, but disappointing in some. I hesitated to give a four-star review, but I feel the hotel is better than average. On a positive note, the staff was outstanding - always polite and helpful, especially so when we experienced some unfortunate issues (see below). The valet attendants, bellhops, front desk personnel, room service guy, engineering department, and management all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and fix our problems. If I return to the Signature, it will be because of the staff. Another positive was the room itself. The one bedroom suite (with balcony) was located on the 19th floor of the third tower and offered views of Top Golf, Wet Republic, and part of the Strip. Enough has been said about the rooms - they include everything one needs except a washer/dryer. Our suite included two full bathrooms with showers (and one with a soaking tub), two cable TVs, a DVD player, dishware/cookware (ask for it), a dishwasher, and perfectly functioning air conditioning. The room was well-stocked, with plenty of towels, toilet paper, pens, notepads, a coffee maker (with two packages of coffee daily), and two bottles of water daily. The 19th floor of the third tower was quiet, but you must keep in mind that there is a tradeoff for the tranquility (more on that below). The third tower at the Signature is also within walking distance of MGM Grand's monorail station. Additionally, the entrance off Harmon Avenue makes access with a car easier than an entrance on (or just off) the Strip. The third tower's pool, while basic compared to the pools at MGM Grand, offered free ice water, a nice perk in a town where most hotels try to nickel and dime you. The pool also had a bar that served light snacks and drinks, although we didn't purchase anything from the bar. Also, we were able to use the MGM Grand's pool complex, which is amazing - drink servers, multiple food options, several pools, and a lazy river. Additionally, the elevators were fast, the wifi worked well, and the gym was clean and offered free ice water (okay, I'm a little obsessed with free water). Finally, the price was relatively low; given the amenities, the Signature is likely one of the best deals in Vegas. And unlike almost every other MGM property in Vegas, the Signature doesn't charge for daily valet parking - just tip the attendants. Oh yeah, did I mention the free water at the pool and the gym? Unfortunately, we had a few hiccups at the Signature. As previously mentioned, I booked through MLife, and when I did so, I specifically requested a room in tower one. When we arrived late in the evening after a long flight from Hilton Head, SC, we were informed at the security gate that our room was in tower three. At check in, I told the receptionist that I requested a tower one room; he offered me a room in tower two, but nothing was available in tower one. At that point, travel weary and with our bags in the possession of a tower three bellhop, we decided just to take the room in tower three. While the room layout was excellent, there were a few maintenance and service issues. There was what looked like two burn marks on the carpet; this was surprising in a non-smoking hotel. We smelled cigarette smoke a few times - once on the balcony and a few times in the hallways. Our room service cart was left out in the hallway all night... It's not a big deal, but in a high-class hotel like the Signature, I expect not to walk by last night's decaying food 10 hours later. One toilet leaked toilet water on our feet, twice, once after it was "fixed". The toilet issue was finally fixed after the second time. Additionally a faucet in the master bathroom was leaking; it was fixed. A remote broke; it was fixed, but still wasn't functioning well. A few small niceties were missing - no DVD player in the bedroom and a puny coffee pot. There was no gaming in the pool areas (including MGM Grand's pool complex). Finally, our room was not cleaned one day (but we were in and out of the room until around 3 p.m.). Tower three is quiet, but many would consider it far from the "action" at MGM Grand and the Strip, despite the moving walkways. In fact, it took me 15 minutes to walk from the front entrance of MGM Grand, through MGM Grand, to the lobby of the third tower... And I walk fast. The Planet Hollywood casino (and certainly the shops at Planet Hollywood) might be closer than the MGM Grand's casino - but walking outside to PH in 110 degree heat might not be your cup of tea. So, if you like to gamble and hate to walk, stay away from from the Signature's third tower. I complained to management twice. The first time, they offered to move us, but we didn't want to move because it is a hassle with a large volume of luggage. In the end, the hotel ended up comping us our room service charge and all of our resort fees. So, the hotel compensated us for our troubles... Acceptable, I guess. Overall, the Signature is a very good hotel. It was probably an exceptional hotel, perhaps even a five-star hotel, when it was newer. But time has taken it's toll, and maintenance has been neglected in some areas. Thankfully, the hotel addressed our issues, but it took my complaints for them to do so. They need a more comprehensive maintenance plan... Perhaps it is almost time for refurbishment. Thankfully, they have their wonderful staff to make up for the decline in the physical facilities.

Visited in July 2017 for 10 nights to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary after getting married at the MGM Grand last year and what can be said? Another amazing stay. Really can't fault this hotel at all. Paid the $50 a night to upgrade to a 1 bedroom balcony suite on the 37th floor of tower 3 which is well worth it. Full kitchen and 2 bathrooms are fab. Delights in tower 2 is a great spot for breakfast. EVERYONE we encountered was really friendly and welcoming. Gyms are great and easy access to MGM and we love you can use the MGM pool as well as the Signatures 3 pools. Without a doubt our home away from home and will never stay anywhere else. Stayed here a few times now so any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a shout!!

A short Uber ride from McCarran International Airport brought us to this beautiful hotel. Check-in was nice with excellent service. We were staying 3 nights so went ahead and did the upgrade to a balcony room facing the strip in Tower 2 for the extra $10 a night. It was so worth it. We were behind all the action but that was ok we could see part of the strip. Our room had a two burner kitchenette in which we cooked eggs and turkey bacon which we got from Walgreens. We requested frying pan, etc from front desk. The suite had a walking in shower and a huge garden tub. I also liked that the toilet was in a separate room. There were also two sinks in there. The only downside is that the walls are thin and some people were partying quite loudly. The room service was expensive but it was very good. As far as other food options the MGM is a ten minute walk as well as the strip. Walgreens was very close so we bought food and waters there. So if want to save a little bit of cash, get the kitchenette so u can at least cook one meal. Overall, we would certainly stay here again!!!

Our family of four (myself, spouse, pre-teen, and child) had a great stay at the Signature at MGM Grand. We stayed in Tower One in a balcony one bedroom suite. The check in was prompt and courteous and the valet parking that was included with the stay was fairly punctual. From Tower One, the closest Strip access is about a 10-15 minute walk and the MGM Grand (about 5 minutes and all indoors). With the stay in the Signature, you also have access to the MGM Grand's pools which was fantastic. The one bedroom suite is particularly large and easily accommodated our family. The sofa sleeper, which my kids used, was comfortable. The full kitchen is a very nice touch and you can easily request for cooking, baking, and tableware (which we did at around 9pm and it came up promptly.) Perhaps we were fortunate, but given how busy the place was based on the number of kids and families were present for what was presumably a cheer and/or dance competition in the tower lobbies, we had a quiet room. We would definitely stay at Signature again!

We stayed two nights in a balcony suite, The pros: the pool is nice, we got a cabana for the day and the service was friendly and prompt. Room was clean. Elevators worked well, which is nice for such a big property. The cons: service inside the Signature was awful. We booked through the hotel, because we were told the service would be better than if we used VRBO or a similar service -- it was still bad. Television did not work, after the technician came it still didn't work. Waited on hold for ten minutes to request that someone help us with bags at check out. Asked for housekeeping after they skipped our room, was told it would be 10 minutes, it was closer to 30. Two towels in bathroom even though reservation was for four. The music at the pool is crushingly loud; which doesn't make any sense since those who want a party pool can walk to the MGM pools. Pool food was pretty awful. These things wouldn't matter if we were staying in a reasonably priced hotel -- but this place is pricey. I don't know what was supposedly luxurious about the Signature.
