Reviews for The Signature at MGM Grand
Our stay at the Signature was probably the best vale for money and best quality of our entire US trip. The room was spacious with a large king bed, sitting are, kitchen and balcony. The bathroom had a wonderful spa bath as well as shower. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Located about 2 blocks from the strip we found the location very convenient The one surprise, that might have been my fault, was an additional resort fee that we were not aware of.

Our first trip to Vegas and we wanted full on glitz, tackiness, casinos and lights! We'd spent hours looking at hotels and whilst waiting for flights to be confirmed, prices escalated to silliness, until we found this one (very last minute) and booked. Check in was at Tower 1. We were beyond excited when the taxi pulled up, until we walked into reception. Yes it's clean, yes it's nice, yes the guy was friendly but there was NONE of the Vegas atmosphere that we'd expected. No casino, empty bar, empty restaurant - disappointed was an understatement. Check in took a good 45 minutes as they needed to find a room that was ready for us (hello - it was 730pm in a huge hotel!!) and we were sent to tower 2. The walk there was uninspiring and dampened our spirit further. The room on the 22nd floor however was beautiful - huge comfy bed, stunning views, large bathroom. We chose the hotel for a) its proximity to the strip and b) a balcony, so that we could sit with our G&T before hitting the strip in the evening - the balcony is unfurnished (we'll assume health and safety) so carboshed that idea! The kitchenette was modern and clean with a working fridge. The coffee machine was useless (used the extortionately expensive Starbucks in a morning!) and there was no crockery or utensils so I have to question the purpose of it. Small bottles of water were provided each day, as were bathroom toiletries. The hotel felt much further to the strip than it probably was! The fasted route is to go out the front and walk round Harmon Avenue east rather than through the MGM. There is SO much walking in Vegas and this was not a hotel that you could quickly "nip" back to on foot. The MGM is a 10 minute walk (and another 10 to get through it to the strip), but at the end of a long day feels further! Taxis are available and the monorail stops at MGM (the station is at The Signature end!) which became our favoured method and was great value for money. The pool area was nice, shade limited unless you paid for a cabana, but the beds were comfortable. We ran out of time to go MGM's pool which always seemed to be packed. All in all a nice quiet hotel to escape to from the mayhem of the strip. Would I return? Probably not - I'd stay at the Venetian or somewhere in that vicinity to be more central to the places we enjoyed most.

This was our second time staying at the Signature and we have become spoiled. We love that it is smoke free and casino free. Also the easy entrance/exit and valet makes it so much easier than staying on the strip. The rooms are large, clean comfortable and well appointed. There is a small fridge, microwave and toaster so you can bring groceries and save on going out to breakfast. We called down to have them stock the room with plates, utensils, etc and there was no fee for this. You can get the to MGM and use their pools, etc. It is a 5 minute walk, indoors, and via a people mover. There are also 3 pools just the for the Signature guests. The only bummer is the $40 per day "usage" fee. This gives you parking, wifi, etc. So while the rates look really good, dont forget to add this fee in. Once we figured out the best route, you can be at the Aria, Cosmopolitan or Paris hotels with just a 15 minute walk.

We were a group of three females staying for a week. We loved his hotel, from the minute we walked in we were treated really well, especially but the helpful and polite Reid who checked us in. He could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms were gorgeous. It is a walk to the main MGM but there is a walkway. We had no noise in our room and slept well every night. The hot tub in the bathroom was awesome. The pool at the Signature was more chilled than the pools in the main MGM, it depends what mood your in but all were epic. We will return. I would suggest the Signature more for chilled couples or older visitors.
Having been disappointed by my first visit 2 years ago (see previous review), I thought I'd give the MGM Signature another chance and revisited on April 4th 2017. The stay didn't start well with check-in taking over 45 mins due to only 2 staff working the reception. When I arrived in the room it was a little worn and tatty. For example, a hole in the arm of the sofa, curtains derailed, tv wouldn't work, safe wouldn't open, bulb was broken in the bathroom and the plug in the sink wouldn't stay down and hold water. All issue were reported to reception. (see photos). A day later I found a loaf of bread in the kitchen cupboard which was green with mold and furry!! But worse was to come!! On day three, I returned home at 4pm from a day at the Outlet Shopping Mall to find the room door wide open. I assumed housekeeping were inside and working. No - housekeeping had been but left and left the door wide open. God knows for how long??!! Luckily I don't think anything was stolen but again received nothing from the reception desk other than an apology. Based on the fact that my previous visit had been spot by having money stolen from my room, I couldn't believe that my room had been left wide open all afternoon. The biggest disappointment is the lack of interest from the hotel management. No compensation?! No free gift? Nothing to make me feel valued as a repeat customer who was just shaken up to find his room and personal belongings unprotected. I considered the Signature to be a premium hotel option in Vegas in line with the Cosmopolitan or the Bellagio. This was the tattiest, most worn room I have ever stayed in whilst at Vegas. But the lack of customer care was the biggest concern. I will not be returning.
