Reviews for The Signature at MGM Grand
We booked our room directly through the hotel's site. Entering through the gated entrance, we were assisted by a gentleman who was very kind and welcomed us with a huge smile. Check in took less than three minutes. We had a balcony room on the 23rd floor with a view of the strip. The oversized room was quiet and comfortable. We never heard a sound on our floor when we were in our room. We walked to/from the MGM and also out the gated entrance and down a few blocks to the strip (although at the end of the day the walk seemed a lot longer!) Each member of the staff was kind, helpful and patient. We will be back!

We stayed at the Signature during April for 9 nights. We are a family of 4 (2 teenage boys age 14 & 16) and our 68 year old mother in law. Checked in quickly, very lovely polite receptionist I think she was called April. We were in Tower 1 and had interconnecting suites on the 18th floor. We were so pleased with the rooms they were HUGE and the double doors to enter the separate doors for each suite provided extra security which we liked. Beds were huge and extremely comfy and our sons slept on the sofa bed which was also very comfy. We requested at check in that we would like crockery etc and within minutes of getting into our room housekeeping were there delivery all the plates glasses cutlery etc we needed. They also provided washing up liquid, kitchen towel, scourer, pots and pans. The hotel was very very clean, spotless in fact and the views from our rooms were breathtaking. We used the pool at tower 2 which is a basic pool, but then we used the Grand pool and lazy river after that. These pools were amazing and you are provided with towels but the only thing I didn't agree with was that you had to BUY the rubber rings to float around the lazy river!!! And at $18 each they aren't cheap!!!! Never before have we ever had to pay for rings for a lazy river, not even at Disneyworld. Luckily our son was given two by someone who was leaving so we used those that day. Other days we just swam around the lazy river. The walk from tower 1 to the strip took us 15 minutes. There were 3 moving walkways, then you are into the shopping area then you have to go through the casino. The place is huge! Please don't be fooled by thinking things are close together - everything is massive and takes ages to get from a to b. You have to wear comfy shoes, Vegas includes so much walking and it can take 30 mins just to get to a hotel, walk through it and get out the other side! We used the SDX buses to go up and down the strip, they are frequent and fast and go south the the Vegas sign, right up to the north of the strip - Fremont street, stratosphere, premium outlet. We enjoyed our 9 nights here, there's so much to see. Definitely have to visit the stratosphere - we went on a Friday night, watched a show and went to the top and did the rides. It's $20 each to go to the top then €5 on top of that for each ride. Amazing views but I was surprised just at how HIGH it is!! Everything in Vegas is expensive - food is ridiculously expensive even in the Walgreens. We ate in Denny's a few times, cooked a few light meals in the suites, and had a meal up at the Promenade by the Linq hotel. Make sure you visit there where the high roller is it's a lovely place. We did the roller coaster at the New York New York hotel, $15 each, but it was worth it, amazing coaster! I would definitely stay at the Signature again, its luxurious, has all the amenities you need, including a gym and a Starbucks, and was in a great location. We absolutely loved it! Just beware of the resort fee that each hotel charges on check out. Ours was $330 for the 9 nights per room.

Overall a nice hotel with spacious rooms and clean open reception. We were in a one bedroom suite in Tower 1. The bedroom was large with plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes. The bathroom has a huge whirlpool bath with a separate shower cubicle. There is a guest toilet with shower off of the lounge area. The balcony is big enough but no furniture. There is a kitchenette area (we didn't use this other than to make coffee but if you were looking for a cheaper option than eating out every day you have everything you need) We felt that for us the towers we a little too far away from the main strip. Our friends were in tower 3 and it was a good 10 minute walk to tower 1 and then a further 10 minutes to get to the main MGM. Remember to ask for a room with a strip view we looked over the airport :) We had a few little issues whilst staying at the hotel and we found reception to be very unhelpful to the point of rude (refusing to give me a room key as it was my husbands name on the reservation yet refusing to give him a key because the credit card for payment was in my name. Three meals ordered through room service but only 1 plate and 1 set of cutlery provided) it was nothing that ruined our holiday but I was a little disappointed that we had cancelled a reservation at another hotel to come here, paid more money and yet others in our group who stayed at the original hotel for a lot less money got much better service. The response I received from the customer care department was satisfactory. I'm not sure that I would stay here again just because I would want to be more central on the strip but if there was a good enough deal I might be tempted. For us it was a little bit of a let down but we didn't let it ruin either my husbands 40th Birthday or our Wedding !

The rooms are simply BEAUTIFUL, please don't get me wrong. The kitchen convenient for a home away from home feel. The whirlpool tub a fantastic feature. And views lovely. BUT, and this is a big but, the location is simply AWFUL. Yes it has the walkway to the MGM but the walk is so long you need to add an extra 15 minutes onto any travel plans you have just to get to the street. You could potentially walk out through the front gates and down the few blocks to the strip, but it's just as long and inconvenient, especially at the end of a long day and your feet hurt and you just want to lay down. Loved the room but you not stay again and would not recommended unless you planned to spend the bulk of your trip in the room itself. Also, the service by the front desk staff was lackluster. We checked in and were told our room was not ready but should be in about an hour two at the most. Said that they would text us to come pick up our keys. 5 HOURS LATER, still no text. We returned to the front desk, watching the 20 or so people in front of us (because they had 2 people working the desk at PEAK arrival time) instantly get checked into their rooms. Upon reaching the front they have NO record we were suppose to be contacted when our room was ready and anyway it STILL wasn't ready so they put us into a different room.
The condos here are actually really basic to be honest. The one bedroom condo is comparable to a one bedroom hotel room. Not a lot of amenities nor services. There are far better condos in Vegas. The environment is very quiet, as this is more or so a timeshare arrangement among guests.
