Reviews for The Signature at MGM Grand
The Signatures is a great location, if you stay in tower 3 you can access the main strip from the back. It is like a 5 minute walk. Each tower has its own pool which is very nice if you don't feel like going to the main pool. I like the fact that it has a full kitchen. It is nice for a family to cook once in awhile instead of going out to eat. The balcony is an added bonus

We are a family of three with an adult teenage daughter. This was our second visit both the Vegas and the Signature. We were very happy to book again as our first stay was perfect. First the good points, and there are many of them - check in is smooth and quick (unlike the MGM itself where queues are extremely long) - whilst on the Strip through its connection with the MGM, it is off the Strip and therefore much quieter. We were on the 30th floor in Tower 1 and had a stunning view of the Strip from our balcony - there are many eateries and entertainment options within the MGM complex, not to mention shopping options, just not cheap - each tower has its own pool, but you also have access to the MGM Grand pool which really is lovely - there is a gym available - there is no gambling at the Signature (a good thing in my view), but if that's your bag then there's plenty available at the MGM - the rooms are beautiful, no different to six years ago, but not tired in terms of decor. The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette and bathroom are beautifully appointed. Plus we had stunning views and very welcome quiet. Here are the issues we had: - we arrived quite late having driven from Mammoth Lakes and through Death Valley. There were valets who parked our car, but no one helped us with our bags, not offered for that matter. That is most unusual for a very service orientated hotel, and certainly not our experience at the three other hotels we visited on holiday. Luckily we are all able bodied and strong, so it wasn't a particular problem to us, but certainly could be for others - we had booked as a family of three, but the sofa bed had not been made up and we did it ourselves. Again not an insurmountable problem for us which we didn't make an issue about, but unusual for a hotel proud of its service - one day we went to the pool, and found on returning to our room that our door card wouldn't work. We went down to reception and explained and the lady there asked us for ID like we carry it in our swim suits! Silly question. What annoyed me was the fact that she clearly thought we'd done something to the card. Actually a lot of people had had trouble with their cards at the pool (you need it to get into the pool area) and my belief is that the pool card reader had done the damage. The biggest issue we had happened on check out, and I want to deal with this separately. We had booked through Bookings.com and discovered on checking out that we had been entitled to twenty five dollars a day towards food, a total of seventy five dollars for our stay. The lady checking us out told us this, and offered for us to get food for our trip, but actually we had already bought this. I was so disappointed, and it really played on my mind. I checked the Bookings.com paperwork and this too does not mention the entitlement, so I am angry at them too. It was not possible to offset this against the resort fees of seventy nine dollars. On returning home I wrote a pretty damning review, as I was still upset. To their credit the Signature responded and refunded resort fees. I also said that I would think about whether we would return to the Signature, but my view has definitely changed. I would only give them the following advice A reinstate the service ethics it professes to hold B include the resort fees in the rental cost C keep valet parking free D make sure guests are aware of their full entitlements and freebies at check in. All the other hotels did this without prompting when we were checking in. Thanks again for refunding resort fees.

Stayed here before in 2013 so I was very happy to go back. Sarah at check in in tower 2 was amazing!! We were supposed to have a regular suite but got a complimentary upgrade to a one bedroom suite with a balcony. Thank you Sarah! The suite we were in was 11-608. The room comes with a kitchen that includes a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and a huge fridge with a freezer on the bottom! For sanitary reasons all dishes are available upon request. The suite also has two bathrooms. One half and the other with a jet tub. It's a very spacious room perfect for if you traveled with a few people. The room also has a safe and huge closets to store your clothes and belongings. The views from the balcony are amazing!! Especially at night!! So beautiful! Okay so let's get on with the cleanliness of the room. Now I don't want to get anyone in trouble but the room was dirty. The second bathroom had dirty tissue that was stuck on the door and the time we were there it was never cleaned. The carpet in the room was filthy!! Spots everywhere I never walked around without my shoes on. The bathtub was dirty as well. We called housekeeping and it took forever to have someone come up and when she did all she did was wipe the dirt, no water or rinsing or anything. The couch also had spots on it and smelled old or dusty. Gross! The bed was very comfy. The carpet and the furniture is outdated but the room service was good! I ordered the pasta primavera 2 times and my fiance got the pasta with salmon one night and the steak another. I would definitely recommend the room service. We arrived Tuesday night and our plane wasn't scheduled to leave until midnight Friday. So we checked with the front desk to see if we could stay another day. We were told check out is at 11 and to stay till noon is $40 but for another day would have been $468!! Ha! So we had to book a plane ticket to leave a day early. That wasn't accommodating at all. I was not happy about that it really messed up our plans. All in all I do like The Signature and wouldn't mind staying again. The rooms just need to be cleaned better and if you're a guest need to stay another day you shouldn't be charged that much because the rooms aren't even that much on the website.

Stayed from 9/18 thru 9/22,. We had the VIP check-in which was fantastic thanks to Rachel. She went out of her way to make us feel special and had us checker in to our penthouse 2 room suite 30-701-703 within minutes. Our baggage arrived at the time we did to our rooms. The two rooms was spotless and beautiful. The balcony had great views of the strip. You have to call for kitchen plates and utensils and cookware but that was delivered within minutes of calling. We rented a cabana at tower 3 pool one day but that was the only glitch as the pool attendants didn't have our reservation and had to go back to front desk at tower two to have them print out receipt. This was my wife and I third stay at the Signature and all have been fantastic. Beds are so comfortable and room so big and nice. You can spend a lot more at other hotels on the strip for the same luxury but why would you! Bathrooms are big and well appointed with large whirlpool tub and separate shower. I am surprised The signature at MGM grand is only ranked number 11 in the TRIP ADVISOR rankings , it is a great place especially for the price. Once again I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a luxury vacation to Las Vegas. Once again a special thanks to Rachel you were great!

We have previously stayed here and were so looking forward to returning. Smooth friendly check in, high floor in tower 1 as requested with a view of the airport. We were so tired after a ten hour flight that we fell asleep as soon as we went to bed, but we were woken by the noises constantly coming from the elevator machinery room alongside our room. The noise was constant day and night. So after 2 pretty sleepless nights i asked to change rooms, as this was Saturday morning i was told nothing could be done until Monday as the hotel was busy. Asked again on Monday morning and told we could move to tower 2 (from 1) after 2 o'clock. We packed up again, left it til 3 and returned to be told that room wasn't now available until approximately 6 or 7, or move to tower 3, we said yes and a bellhop helped us get across, we entered the room to find beds and mattresses stood up against the wall, tables and chairs on end, nothing at all set up, i phoned the desk to be told 'that room is clean' it took the bellhop to speak to his manager before we were then told a room was now available back in tower 2, wow after little sleep and a pretty couldn't care less attitude it was bliss to settle in a quiet room and the holiday could really get underway. After I complained to the desk i was given a food credit, so thanks for that at least. Moan over, room could have been refreshed a bit better, but i think that was just down to it's age. Everything we needed, superb bed, fridge, cooker etc, we requested pans cutlery etc and that arrived within minutes, especially liked the nice touch of a kettle 'for tea' Rooms spotlessly cleaned by Iris every day, and great pools, only a couple of minutes walk either to MGM or out onto the strip. Valet parking included in the resort fee. Yes ok we had some issues but think we'll try and get back next year, it feels so special, the bedroom, living area and bathroom all great and just a great hotel. Thanks to the staff who helped us, much appreciated
