On a recent visit to Mauritius visiting a number of hotels, I had the pleasure of staying at Dinarobin. Wow! An amazing hotel, with the most helpful, friendly staff, and a beautiful location. Dining options are vast and my favourite meal was at their Japanese inspired restaurant, Umami. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, with 8 restaurants, a dedicated adults only section, multiple private pools dotted around the resort, and the most comfortable bean bed sunbeds :-) I also had a massage at the spa and it was delightful.

I am writing this review as a mauritian visitor. First of all, we chose Beachcomber resort for our honeymoon because of the services and the price that we paid as a local citizen. It is very rare to find 5* hotels that provides such incentives to their citizens. We arrived at the hotel and was very well welcomed by BERTY. He made us feel right at home. Everything was made so easy and smooth for us. We would like to thank the guys at le mahogany bar (Hans, Pravesh, Sacha, Darsan,etc...), Dikshay for cleaning our room, La plage hotel manager DASSOO rakesh for everything you made possible for us, Paco :) , la ravanne restaurant managers (Avish and Vikram) mayur and gloria, excellent service from these guys. We loved every minute and we extended our stay for another day. It was made easy by Victoria. Thank you Caroline at the reception for your help. A big thank you to Sunny and MJ from the restaurant. Finally a big thank you to Summer as well as the hotel assistant manager that came to thank us for our stay at check out. We never felt so proud as a mauritian. The service and hospitality of hotel workers towards us was first class. There are so many names that we forgot especially the shuttle service guys. we thank you all for making our honeymoon memorable and we look forward to seeing you again very soon. the hotel is located in a unique place. the location makes it magical. delicious cuisine and excellent service. Special dinners at L'Harmonie restaurant. Huge praise to the staff for the exceptional service I experienced during my stay. waiters Sam and Benzie Your politeness, professionalism and concern for the guests' comfort are truly admirable. From the moment I arrived we felt special. Thank you .

Lovely resort with fantastic staff. Rooms and bathrooms are slightly dated - could do with a small spruce up. Bathroom amenities are not of the best quality. Beds are super comfortable. Food is out of this world. Umami restaurant was the highlight - service and food was above 10/10. Our waiter at Umami was out of this world with his attentiveness and knowledge- just a pity I didn’t quite get his name. Didn’t get to do any water sports as wind was strangely gale force due to anti cyclone. Love the fact one can interchange at Paradis adjacent to Dinarobin and that also makes the beach a beautiful stretch of white sand for KM’s.

Dinarobin is the sort of resort that grows on you more and more with each day. Of course it is stunning in arrival, but it is the small nuances that you pick up as your stay progresses. The warmth of the staff, for one, allows you to let your guard down. I became particularly fond of Davissen , Summer & Bhoomesh. Our room was perfect, especially for new parents who find 90% of their lives spent bent over chasing a baby around. Our room was sea facing, one story up, with a semi enclosed balcony, all necessary amenities. Really child friendly and just super easy to relax in. I appreciated being able to feed our 11 month old easily at meals and never be made to feel bad for the inevitable mess. The setting is very dramatic & The hotel offers a variety of sports, excursions and activities. And the staff are really accommodating and eager to assist booking. Shared facilities with Paradis is a serious bonus.
