Our stay at The St. Regis Mauritius, from the 12th to the 15th of May, was the highlight of our trip. I'd go as far as to say that it made the whole trip worthwhile. After spending time elsewhere on the island and feeling a little disappointed overall, we arrived at the property disgruntled and unsure of what to expect. But from the moment we walked in, the experience completely shifted. The property itself is stunning. Beautifully designed, impeccably maintained and superbly manicured throughout. Every part of the resort feels calm, luxurious and incredibly well cared for. The food was fantastic across the board, with Atsuko (their Japanese restaurant) being the crown jewel. Easily amongst the best Japanese food I've ever had. What stood out most, however, was the service. Mauritius generally has good hospitality, but the team here operates at another level entirely. A special mention to our butler, Ayman, who truly went above and beyond throughout our stay. No request was ever too much trouble and he constantly made sure our family was comfortable. One gesture that especially stood out was arranging for the temperature of one of the pools to be adjusted so it would be comfortable for kids to use — a level of care and attention that genuinely made a difference. The resort is also incredibly kid-friendly in ways that feel thoughtful rather than forced. You really get the sense that the team wants guests to feel taken care of at every step. A special thanks as well to General Manager Jean-Baptiste Chazallet, Resort Manager Benoit George, Butler Manager Shirish Shriva, butler Ghirish for righting a couple of hiccups early on and making the stay so memorable. The St. Regis is a truly fantastic property with an outstanding team behind it. We left feeling restored, looked after and already wanting to go back.

We came for a 4 night stay fo our anniversary and it was everything we hoped for. I can’t think of one thing that could have been better. The room was great with a 50m walk to the beach. The food was fantastic. Not one bad meal. The gym is also very good. The butler service is very helpful and our butler Nikhil was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We've come to the St Regis for a big family birthday. The butler team organised a super dinner on the beach and Reetesh looked after us all evening magnificently. We even did the sabrage under his guidance. A 5* service and a fabulous evening with thanks to Reetesh.

We spent our honeymoon at The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. We were thoroughly spoilt and exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. The level of service was outstanding, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make our time feel special and seamless. A special mention has to go to the food, which was consistently excellent. We especially enjoyed the curries, which were full of flavour and beautifully prepared. One of our favourite memories was the sunset beach area, where we enjoyed relaxing evenings with music and sundowners right on the sand—truly magical. We would especially like to thank Avish, our butler, for his incredible care and attention, and Nikhil, who also provided some of the best service we experienced during our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made a real difference to our trip. The hotel also surprised us on several occasions, including coming back to a room prepared with a fresh flower display and a hot bath, and another evening being treated to champagne sabering on our terrace—both unforgettable touches that made our honeymoon feel truly extraordinary. We cannot recommend this resort highly enough and will always look back on our stay with such fond memories.
