The St. Regis Le Morne is, in many respects, a beautifully run resort. The staff deserve genuine recognition: they are consistently warm, attentive, and professional, and it is evident that they are both well trained and highly motivated. Their service is, without question, the strongest asset of the hotel. The fitness center is excellent; nice staff, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped and the breakfast offering is of a very high standard, with quality ingredients and attentive service that make mornings a pleasure. It is therefore with some regret that I am unable to rate this property higher. The overall guest composition and atmosphere made it feel as though the resort primarily caters to visitors from a state currently engaged in active warfare against the sovereignty of a neighboring country. While no individual guest should be held personally accountable for geopolitical events, the resulting environment noticeably shaped the tone of the stay and left the impression that this demographic is a key commercial focus for the property. Given the St. Regis brand and its association with Marriott, I hold higher expectations regarding corporate values and integrity. I would have hoped for a more considered stance than actively marketing a luxury product to those associated with occupation rather than coexistence. In summary, the hotel delivers strongly on service, fitness facilities, and breakfast, but the broader context and guest mix detract significantly from the overall experience. For that reason, I cannot in good conscience rate it above two stars.

A gorgeous beautiful hotel with a large clean beach. I really liked the service, all the staff is very attentive. Special thanks to our butler Shahid for his care, and for organizing my birthday party, there were very pleasant surprises from him:) I would also like to mention the large clean rooms, delicious restaurants, a good selection of cigars! St.Regis is definitely worth a visit, I recommend!

Simply the best resort experience we've ever had. St. Regis Mauritius combines breathtaking natural beauty with impeccable luxury. Our ocean-facing suite was elegantly designed with a massive balcony perfect for sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. The beach is pristine, the pools are immaculate, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. We loved the variety of dining options—from fresh seafood at Floating Market to refined French cuisine at Le Manoir. The water sports center offered everything from snorkeling to pedal boats. Even small details impressed us: the quality of linens & towels, the pillow menu, the afternoon tea, and the butler service. Staff went above and beyond constantly. A million thanks to the whole team, especially Mr Gilles & Mr JB, who welcomed us with an open heart. Grateful beyond words to Sana from housekeeping who made every day special, and her incredible team Trinita, Joanda, Priscilla, Shivanee, and Kasharee. If you're considering St. Regis, don't hesitate. It's expensive, yes, but delivers genuine luxury and creates memories that last a lifetime.

December 14-19th 5 amazing days at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived after a 12 hour flight we were treated to the highest quality service. Our 8 year old was treated to a ballon and dodo toy upon arrival, as well as usual welcome drinks, check in was pretty quick and smooth. Room was fantastic very close to the beach but not too far from hotel amenities. What really made the trip memorable was the staff, from the gardeners wishing you good morning all the way up to the managers making sure your stay is perfect. We tried all 5 restaurants inc the takoyaki experience. Favourite probably being the beach front grill for fish. Nothing was too much trouble, the service really was impressive. Our butler organised a surprise anniversary cake in the room which was lovely touch. I used the gym, sauna daily, movie room and the free boat trips was another nice touch. Saxophone player at sunset was another unforgettable experience. All the banyan trees around the property were stunning Only one small downside which can’t really blame hotel for was we managed to get a good few mosquito bites which we didn’t get at another hotel not far away Would absolutely return
