Set on what is arguably the island's most spectacular stretch of beach and Le Morne rising dramatically in the background. The location is so ridiculously beautiful that within about 24 hours we'd completely forgotten what day of the week it was (which, in our book, is always a good sign). What really set the hotel apart for us though was the staff. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. There is a kindness here that never feels rehearsed, just effortlessly Mauritian. Our stay wasn't entirely without a few service hiccups (no holiday ever is), but they were handled beautifully. Every concern was taken seriously, and the team consistently went above and beyond to make things right. It's easy to deliver great service when everything goes according to plan; it's much harder when it doesn't, and this is where the team really excelled. Travelling with a four-month-old means your definition of luxury changes slightly. We had initially wondered whether we'd regret not staying in one of the beachfront suites, but the room in the main building turned out to be the perfect choice. Everything was close by, making life considerably easier without feeling like we'd compromised on the experience. And finally, Laxmi. The hotel recommended her as a babysitter, and by the end of the week we were half-considering asking if she came home with the room rate. She looked after our four-month-old son, Basile, with extraordinary kindness and care, instinctively respected his routine, anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and somehow managed to make all three of us feel looked after. Leaving your baby with someone you've only just met is never easy, but she earned our trust almost immediately. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult. We arrived in desperate need of a proper reset and left feeling lighter, better rested, and exceptionally well looked after. That's probably the highest compliment we can give any hotel!

Our stay at The St. Regis Le Morne was nothing short of exceptional, and one of the main reasons was the incredible level of personalized service we experienced throughout our vacation. The Butler Service truly sets this resort apart. From the very first day until our departure, Nikhil, Ghirish, and Adriana (Butler Trainee) made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were simply outstanding. Every request, no matter how small, was handled with sincere care, and it often felt as though they anticipated our wishes before we even had to ask. We were also deeply touched by the many thoughtful and personalized surprises prepared for us during our stay. The highlight was undoubtedly a private St. Regis Sabrage Ceremony, beautifully organized by the butler team in our suite, accompanied by delicious canapés. Together with several personalized gifts throughout our stay, these unforgettable moments perfectly reflected the elegance and exceptional hospitality that define The St. Regis brand. Another very special thank you goes to Executive Sous Chef Bhuttoo Premraj. Every single evening, he personally created a unique, off-menu dining experience for my wife. His creativity, passion, and genuine desire to make every dinner special were extraordinary. It is rare to meet a chef who takes such a personal interest in his guests, and his outstanding cuisine added another unforgettable dimension to our stay. As a family travelling with children, we were equally impressed by the Kids Club. It is, without a doubt, one of the best Kids Clubs we have experienced anywhere in the world. Our children absolutely loved it and, quite honestly, never wanted to leave. Every morning they were excited to return, thanks to the caring team, the creative activities, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Knowing that our children were so happy allowed us to relax even more and made our holiday truly enjoyable for the whole family. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Jean-Baptiste Chazallet for his exceptional leadership. It is evident that this resort is managed with passion, vision, and a genuine commitment to excellence. Great luxury hotels are defined by their people and culture, and this is clearly reflected throughout the entire property. The professionalism, warmth, and dedication shown by every member of the team are a testament to outstanding management. It is worth mentioning that the resort is currently in a transformation phase following its transition from the former JW Marriott to The St. Regis brand. As with any transformation, there are occasionally small inconsistencies while new standards and processes are being embedded. However, what impressed us most was the team’s attitude. Any minor hiccup was addressed immediately with genuine care, professionalism, and a highly personalized approach. Thanks to the dedication of the Butler Team and the entire staff, potential shortcomings never became lasting impressions—instead, they were transformed into opportunities to exceed our expectations. This is what true luxury hospitality is all about. It is not about being flawless every second of the day, but about making guests feel valued, cared for, and truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Nikhil, Ghirish, and Adriana for making our family feel at home from the very first moment, to Executive Sous Chef Bhuttoo Premraj for his exceptional culinary talent and personal dedication, to the wonderful Kids Club Team for creating unforgettable experiences for our children, and to Jean-Baptiste Chazallet for leading such an outstanding team with excellence and heart. You all created memories that our family will cherish forever, and we are already looking forward to returning to The St. Regis Le Morne.

We had a fantastic stay at St. Regis Le Morne. The hotel has a real sense of quiet luxury without ever feeling flashy. The staff and the butlers, Nikhil & Ghirish were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great time. The rooms, food, and surroundings were all top quality, and the little details made a real difference. The location, right below Le Morne and on a beautiful beach, is hard to beat. If you’re looking for a place to completely relax while still enjoying great service, this is it. We’d definitely come back.

Just spent our honeymoon here and we spent it getting spoiled by Tej and the butler team! The room was extremely comfortable and overlooked the water/sunset. The service was impeccable and the food always delicious. The hotel itself is beautifully framed by the mountain and the beach water is incredibly clear. Tej and the team made sure that everything was seamless (unpacking, packing, small gestures) and went above and beyond in organizing special surprises for both of us almost daily. For example my fiancée asked about sobering and Tej organized a private lesson on the beach during sunset. They helped us with any bookings and were always available and super responsive. If you are looking for a place where you can have adventures and a luxurious stay, I can’t recommend this experience enough!
