Just love the butler service 🙌🏼

Just love the butler service! The resort is just the perfect hide away that you can expect in Mauritius. Great choice of restaurants, and something for everyone. Love that so many activities are included and with a great gym

Great service, food and atmosphere

The service was fantastic, great food, and a beautiful location. Also lots of great activities, if you're the type that can't sit still on a beach, with many different complementary water sport activities. And there is colourful fish swimming very near to the beach (bring your own snorkeling gear), and we also saw a dolphin just in the corner of the swimming area at the beach just in front of the hotel. It's also the perfect location if you want to hike Le Morne mountain, as the starting point for the hike is very close by. It was a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Dining at Indya & Exceptional Butler Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

One of the highlights of our stay at The St. Regis Mauritius in Le Morne was Indya Restaurant. The cuisine is modern, refined, and beautifully executed with incredible Indian flavors. We loved it so much that we ended up dining there three evenings in a row. What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service. The team’s attention to detail was remarkable, and their warmth made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond not only for us but also for our children. The staff showed such kindness and care toward the kids, which made every evening relaxed and enjoyable for the whole family. A special thank you to the amazing team — Ashwyna, Nikhil and Chellen, and Chef Malik Basha — whose hospitality and talent made every dinner so memorable. I’m lactose intolerant and the chef kindly prepared special dishes tailored for me, which was incredibly thoughtful and delicious. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Le Morne Balcony Suite, which was very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the sunset, a truly special view at the end of each day. Another heartfelt thank you goes to our butlers, Ayman and Noushreen, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Their kindness, attentiveness, and thoughtful touches made our family feel genuinely cared for. We also loved the coconut station on the beach, where fresh coconuts are served from 11:00 until they run out. A special mention to Avish, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. A tip for families: don’t miss the glass-bottom boat trip to see the turtles. Our 4-year-old was absolutely thrilled, it was such a magical experience for her. One area for improvement would be the breakfast service, which felt a bit inconsistent depending on the person serving that morning. That said, this is honestly the first hotel we are already talking about returning to — a truly special place for families.

Show-stopping team and wonderful hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Our first time staying at a St Regis property and we will definitely be back! We stayed in an Ocean Haven Junior Suite which had a gorgeous view and felt extremely spacious for the two of us. Despite being told the hotel was almost at full occupancy, we didn’t once hear any other guests in their rooms. The housekeeping team left our room as new in the morning and evening. We found service slow and inattentive in all dining outlets, making the restaurants feel understaffed and lacking proper staff training. When we sat back and watched staff, some looked distressed and were clearly unable to give a 5 star service. I think this issue could easily be solved with some standards training, as everyone clearly meant well. Piruven was the most attentive waiter during our stay for a lovely dinner in Boathouse, and we also appreciated the presence of Alvin who was friendly and passionate during every interaction. Despite the dinner service letting down our experience, the food did make up for it and we were really impressed with quality and taste every night. We loved the variety of cuisines across the property and it meant the options didn’t become repetitive during our 7 night stay. The Floating Market and fresh fish options at Boathouse were our favourites. We booked a couple of excursions; the 7AM dolphin boat trip, and horse riding. The dolphin trip is a must and swimming with the pod of dolphins was a total bucket list experience. Our skipper/guide was wonderful and this has to be the highlight of my trip. We took advantage of the free waterskiing, which we thought was an incredible offering. We really appreciated the pricing and value of activities and were surprised by how much was on offer. The spa was impressive and felt like a secret haven. We loved our couples massage with Yulia and Mhadel. Our only regret was not booking another treatment! What makes the hotel truly special is its people. A special thanks to Vimal, who taught us about local rums and every day had a new and interesting fact for us about the hotel and island. We loved seeing Manisha daily at breakfast, who was incredible at learning preferences despite dealing with busy breakfasts and so so many guests. Another notable team members was Kevin who was organising activities at the fitness club and who got us involved in games on the beach during our last day. He is a ray of sunshine and a credit to the hotel. Above all, Rickish and his team Vicky and Vishan were the stars of the show during our stay. We had the best service out of the whole hotel on the beach, every day. The team learnt our preferences for beach bed location and drinks, and were ready for us every morning. Having worked in luxury hotels for years myself, Rickish is what I would call a master of hospitality. It was a pleasure to meet him and I’m sure he will go on to big things within St Regis and in the hospitality world in future. Rickish, thank you for making our stay extra memorable and for making us feel so special. An unforgettable stay and we hope to return in the future.
