The perfect resort to spend your summer vacation with Family. Mr. Shahid ( butler manager) is super friendly and took care of us, thanks to him and his team.

A Beautiful Anniversary Stay with Exceptional Service Recovery! We spent 4 wonderful nights here on a half-board package for our anniversary. The check-in was highly personalized, with a dedicated butler handling everything. The Room: Our initial beachfront room didn't meet expectations, but Front Desk Manager Mr. Ajay stepped in immediately. He made a swift decision to move us to another beachfront ground-floor room, completely saving our trip! The resort surprised us with a decorated bed, fresh flowers, chocolates, and non-alcoholic champagne. The colonial design feels classic but is a bit dated and due for a refresh, though the bed was incredibly cozy. Our veranda offered front-row views of spectacular Mauritian sunsets. Facilities: The tropical gardens are stunning. Chauffeur buggies arrive within 10 minutes, but it's a beautiful walk. The main pool is massive, the gym is top-tier, and the boathouse offers great free water sports. The Spa: The thermal suite (sauna/steam room) felt tired and disappointed me. However, the staff noticed my unhappiness and offered a complimentary massage. Spa Manager Efthymia personally met with me to address my concerns with genuine care. The actual massage facilities upstairs are spacious and excellent, completely turning my experience around. Dining: We tried 4 restaurants. Atsuko (Japanese) was outstanding with an authentic vibe (except the below-average tempura). Indya (Indian) offered flawless food and service. Breakfast at Le Manoir was a massive highlight—incredible variety and the staff personalized everything, even calling us by name. Dinner at Le Manoir was good, but The Boathouse Grill was strictly average for our taste. Verdict: Highly recommended for couples. The incredible hospitality of Mr. Ajay and Efthymia truly made our anniversary special.

Overall a fab holiday that did not disappoint. Rooms were in good condition and luxurious in feel. May is not the peak time to go but the South West does make sense at this time of year and this was perhaps reflected in the price when we were booking. Food was excellent - a bit too excellent that gluttony sometimes got the better of us :) I would say there are, as with all resorts, some standout staff who go above and beyond. This for us was Clyde and Jesy from activities who always provided so many activities that we actually didnt feel the need to leave the resort as the children were so content, Pouven, the front of house of Indya (forgot her name), Chef Malik and of course Jean Baptiste the manager who genuinely wants all guests to have an amazing stay. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly and promptly by the GM of the resort. We really appreciated this. The children loved the games room and begged to be there every night, surprisingly more than the kids club which was also excellently run by Yolinda and art sessions held by the talented Naomi. Spa was excellent from beginnning to end. Water activities are usually included as standard in Mauritius and the particular highlight was fishing and kayaking. The beach and views were stunning. Shame about the excessive seaweed but this is really a minor point and this did not stop us enjoying the sea in the slightest. Overall we would recommend this hotel. We have stayed at some of the LUX properties and all in all we would rebook this property and recommend to family and friends

We had an amazing stay at The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, and what truly made the experience special was the incredible service from the team. Our butlers, Avish and Nikhil, were exceptional. They were professional, thoughtful, warm, and always one step ahead. Anyone lucky enough to have either of them as their butler is in very good hands. They genuinely made our stay feel effortless and memorable. The service around the resort was also excellent. Jordan, Emmanuel, the team member shift on the 28th on the beach, and Yeshvin at the Boat House were all amazing. They kept checking in on us, made sure we had everything we needed, and always did so with genuine kindness and a smile. A special mention also goes to the front office team. Shywanty was wonderful during check-in and throughout our stay she made sure we had a quick and effortless check-in and was super helpful with helping us navigate the property on our arrival, while Rosalia and Adrien were fantastic during checkout. They were all so kind and welcoming, and somehow made us feel like they had known us for a long time and were already looking forward to seeing us again. We also want to thank the housekeeping team, who did a fantastic job throughout our stay. The rooms were always kept spotless, fresh, and beautifully prepared, which made coming back to the room each day even more comfortable and relaxing. The resort itself is beautiful, but the people are what truly made the difference. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We would happily come back.
