We decided to choose the JW Marriot as our venue to get married, and it was the best decision we ever made. The hotel is beautiful, and the views are picturesque. from the moment we walked in and were greeted by dalini he felt so welcome, and we knew we had chosen the right place. Our room was amazing and when we got there, we were met by sonam who was part of the butler service. During the week leading up to our wedding and on the actual day, she was amazing throughout, helping us with preparing the dress and suits and making sure everything runs smoothly up until the ceremony. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without her! Another two members of staff that we couldn’t have done it without is Sarah the events coordinator and Vince, the food and beverage manager. Before we even arrived, they helped liaise with the wedding planner to ensure our special day was as perfect as we hoped. Unfortunately, we only got to meet Sarah briefly at the end of our stay but even though she was off, she still remained available for us to contact when we needed to help. Vince was brilliant throughout our stay constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed and even though he was really busy, he always found time to stop and talk. He even took the time to set up a special dinner on the beach for us a few days after our wedding. He really did make our stay special. Another of the managers that we felt went above, and beyond was Benoit. Again, such a nice friendly and genuine person who ensured our stay was amazing and that we had everything that we needed throughout. our little two year old daughter also adored him! Also, thank you to Giles and kamto who again throughout our stay, make sure we had everything we needed. The service everywhere in the hotel was impeccable, and it feels like all the staff have a genuine love for their job. Around the pool Armoural and Pooja were always on hand to make sure we had what we needed. And again, always found time to come and talk and we found them to be really lovely people. And down by the beach bar we found Harris the beach bar manager to be such a nice man. Great at his job, very attentive but also just a really nice person to get to know. As to was Jean at the front of house. Another one of the staff that our daughter adored! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. I am writing on behalf of my husband and myself to sing praises about the best service we have ever experienced at a resort and we do not say this lightly. My husband and I are filmmakers and we travel the world for both business and pleasure. Based on this, we are very fortunate to experience many of the best of the best hotels and resorts in the world. We can honestly say that the JW Marriott Mauritius was, by far, the vacation of a lifetime and it is in large part due to the people who work there to make sure everyone feels special and attended to. The purpose of this particular vacation was to celebrate my 50th birthday and conduct a location scout around the island for a potential project. From the time we entered the beautiful grounds, we were greeted with the warm, welcoming energy of Jennyta. We were then met and shown to our room by Afzal, a very kind gentleman who was so excited to wish me a happy birthday. He must have wished me a happy birthday five times. His kindness made me smile. Our room was beautifully decorated and well-appointed. We were later surprised with champagne, birthday cake and three staff members who sang me happy birthday, led by our amazing butler Kimberly. My heart was full. Every part of this resort is so intentional. It's as if they anticipated our every need before we even thought about needing anything. At dinner, we were greeted by one of the most amazing waiters at the stunning Floating Market, Adarsh. He was phenomenal! The food was amazing and we were so grateful because between the kung pao lobster and the South African wine, our night was already made! Adarsh made sure my birthday was special because he decorated my birthday table so perfectly. We enjoyed the floating market so much that we went three times during our stayh! The next day, we had the good fortune to meet the Guest Relations Manager Neha. She started off by apologizing for not being able to greet me and wish me Happy Birthday the previous day. We assured her that her staff represented so well that she had nothing to worry about because we were perfectly taken care of. She is the standard by which Excellence in Customer Service should be measured! She offered us cocktails, took time to discuss all of the activities, amenities and resources of the resort. In addition, she treated us to dinner one night and I cannot say enough good things about Neha or the food at the resort. Everything we had was delicious. There are so many things that we could address like the evening performances, complimentary water sports, daily goodies on the beach, the library, cinema, cute little pink buggies that carried us all around the island, but please make sure to attend the Manager's Cocktail reception onTuesday at sunset. You can thank us later. Breakfast is also absolutely amazing. It is a buffet like no other. Lucinda greeted us with her warm smile daily. The fresh fruits, fresh pressed juices, champagne, eggs anyway you want (shout out to Chef Christelle who constantly made our tummies happy), bioche french toast, assortments of meats, pastries, Mauritian food, seafood, veggies and cheeses. I couldn't wait to get to breakfast everyday.! We always requested to sit in Tarvin's section because he was amazing! At the pool, Pooja and Aroumel were a joy to see daily. They were both very knowledgeable about the specialty drinks and suggested different goodies each day. We really enjoyed Pravin, Rao, Kevin, Raj, and Reza! Each person made our rides around the resort a fun adventure. They were extremely pleasant and easily accessible.. We enjoyed working with Taegu as well. Michael, Aresm, Tarum, Saravesh and Arvesh at the beach bar were dynamic and a part of our nightly cocktail, after dinner rituals. In all honesty, every person we encountered was warm, attentive and friendly. The Seafood at the Boathouse Beach Grill was also outstanding, Sarvesh, the manager went out of his way to accommodate us and even invited us back for a special Mauritian meal. He was extremely friendly and his restaurant was beautiful at sunset. Suraj and Alexander were very knowledgeable about the wine and Suraj managed to up-sell us on a new bottle that we really enjoyed toward the end of the vacation. Nafisha and Ayesha are definitely the ladies to go to when going to the spa, which was beautiful and amazing. We felt like each time we went, we were the only ones there. We had amazing massages and facials. We loved our five days so much that we decided to extend our stay. Suprisingly, we were upgraded! Archi became our butler because we were upgraded he best suites the resort offers. It was beyond our expectations and we concluded that we truly were in paradise. Archi was attentive, resourceful and constantly available to us and we appreciated his suggestions immensely. There were a few more people who impressed us, but we have misplaced their names. Please charge it to our minds, not our hearts! Before coming to the resort, we were not sure what to expect. The JW Brand is usually 4.5 stars but I can now assure you, if you are accustomed to service of the St. Regis or Ritz Carlton, you will be pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if its the culture of the Mauritian people or just exceptional management and training, but this resort gets it and I am so glad we selected it for such a special trip! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! WE WILL BE BACK!

Best location, beautiful coast and very good service. Our Suite has good location, the rooms are clean. Hotel employees are very friendly and provide excellent service. Thank our Batler Jerzy and employee Pravin. We will definately visit here again.

Awesome hotel! We had great time being there! There are plenty of options for food, 5 restaurants on the territory of the hotel that serve Indian, French, Pan Asian, Japanese cuisines. The fifth one was beach barbecue restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful! There are also a lot of options for outdoor activities. We will definitely come back next year.
