Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Location is great and loved the convenient valet parking. Very nice and clean bathroom.Breakfast buffet is the best part of this hotel. Local cheese varieties and amazing bakeries....

The Risorgimento Resort is a lovely and conveniently located hotel in Lecce. The rooms and facilities are first class and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was O.K. have had better but avoid the Americano Coffee it was terrible; a cappicino or and expresso are better options. We had a special offer meal in the restaurant on one night, it was good Value at€30.00 including wine, but was disappointing, would prefer to pay more for a better meal. These comments are only minor issues as this is a great place to stay.

Or more... We stayed in Lecce for only one night on a loop into Salento. The hotel was great. The room was large and well appointed. It was close to everything, literally right around the corner from the Roman ruins. Lecce and Salento are beautiful and well worth more than one night.

My husband and I spent four nights here in July. The hotel is located in the very center of Lecce. Arriving by car was challenging as we were unfamiliar with the city, and driving in the historic center was daunting! However, after we figured it out, it was no problem for the remainder of our stay. Lecce is a very walkable city, and the hotel is perfectly situated. We used Lecce as a base from which to investigate southern Puglia. The common areas of the hotel and our room were very clean and well-maintained. Our room looked onto a courtyard, so the view wasn't great, but we spent so few daytime hours there that it really didn't matter. The bathroom was spacious and had a very nice shower and large sink area. I have to note the breakfast buffet because we were super happy with it. No eggs or other hot items, but so many high-quality offerings: lots of fresh fruit (the cherries and apricots were especially good), tomatoes, grilled/roasted vegetables, breads, pastries and cakes (the pasticcioti were exceptional), a variety of cheeses and meats, homemade yogurt, cereals. We ate very well every morning. The rooftop bar was also a very nice place for aperitivi. Overall this hotel offers incredible value for what I view is a very reasonable price per night. The front desk and valet staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We appreciated that the hotel offers you the use of (very nice) beach towels and beach bag. They charge a nominal fee, which I typically don't see at other luxury hotels so that was a bit off-putting, but not a huge deal. If/when we return to Southern Puglia, we will definitely consider staying here again, and have recommended it to our friends and family.

More 4 than 5 star, basic but good (no water or coffee in rooms) rooftop restaurant okay but fantastic breakfast and staff so good they come to help you park your car! Best location as walking distance to churches, cafes, restaurants and shops. Ask for room 106 as balcony over the front door.
