Best place I ever stay in Liqiang. The service is prompt and good. It is entirely different feeling from the business hotel or resort. I slept well the whole stay. Should have planned to stay more days.

Perfect. Resort is quiet and peaceful and it really seems like you are away from it all at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Stayed in the 2 bedroom plunge pool villa. The best thing about this resort is the location, if a restful getaway is what you are after. Fantastic view of the mountain range . In house tour guides Ariel and William are the best! Knowledgable and very enthusiastic. Spa is good too. Would definitely come back if back in Lijiang.

This hotel is very beautiful and has a wonderful view of the jade dragon snow mountain . We went on a tour organized by the hotel concierge up to the mountain and it was well conducted and reasonable . Cherry blossoms planted outside the villas make a most picture- perfect scene. Our villa had a private hot spring which I highly recommend as you can h use the hot springs in privacy after a day climbing the mountain ( be warned as altitudes are high it is taxing - & you should bring an oxygen tank!) or visiting the old towns . There is one near the hotel and we were able to walk there and back . However ,the heating in our villa is grossly inadequate by international standards - we put the Heater up to the highest but it was not that warm & the worse was the tv room area where we had to wear blankets and where I developed a chill on my last night ļ¼ Blankets offered in the villa are too thin - they should be replaced by thicker woolen blankets & the tv could hardly work- it was a very old model which looks about a decade oldļ¼ The breakfast buffet is not good value at 400 Rmb - lots of variety but no quality & the service from waitstaff not as attentive as what I have come to expect of the Banyan tree having stayed at the resorts in Seoul and Danang .

Banyan Tree Lijiang is located about 10 minutes walk from Shuhe and we can see the YuLong Snow Mountain from every corner of the hotel. Room is quite spacious but the twin beds are quite small. It offers a huge selection for breakfast. Overall, it was a quite pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the lovely Banyan Tree Lijiang a few months ago, they had the most fantastic tea set in the room, I loved the loose dark Chinese tea leaves, does anyone know what tea that is ? It is a great, quite hotel, very tranquil. Kept the Banyan Tree standard, well done
