We have been to other hotels before and seen the rough edges; that was not the case here. The staff was fantastic and the Belmond should be proud of them. Especially about Ken ‘cause this young guy definitely make the difference of everyone .He truly had the concern for his customers that you would expect, but so often don't find, so you should be very proud of them indeed. There is little doubt where we will stay next time we visit. The executive club was clean and again staff were exemplary.

For anyone reading this that's still undecided which hotel in Lima to stay in don't look at any others and just book this, trust me you will not be disappointed. The place is AMAZING and perfect location. I love a bargain and although room rates are on the high side it's totally worth it. Just book. Anyway we were on honeymoon and had an amazing room, we were really tired from travelling that we were so happy when our bed was like lying on a bed of feathers and the room had a massive bath that could fit 5 or 6. We also had a Sauna but didn't get the chance to use. The staff were brilliant especially Andrea and Thomas. They made us feel right at home. Breakfast was perfect and had a great view on the 11th floor. The pool also has the same view. The location is very convienant and Safe. The hotel has bicycles available for guest use and with the many cycle paths around it's a great way to see some of the area(although don't forget to wear sun cream as I got badly burnt,ha). Make sure you go see the turtles in the pond outside the lobby too. Thanks to the bar staff(especially Andre) who run the Pisco Sours course. They show you how to create the famous cocktail. It's a nice and quiet bar for cocktails so make sure to try one. The hotel has a different activity on every day for the guests enjoyment so make sure to have a look to see what's on when your there, it might just take your fancy. Thanks again to all the staff and when were back in Lima again we will 100% be staying there.

We stayed at the Belmond in August during our vacation to Peru. The hotel is amazing and the staff was very helpful. Our room was large and it had a patio. The bathroom was really nice. The shower was out of this world. The first night we arrived it was late so the restaurant was already closed. We eat at the Bar and the food was delicious. We had breakfast in the hotel one of the mornings and the buffet breakfast was very good. The view is really nice. Because of the time of the year we could not seat outside, as it was chilly. I highly recommend this hotel. It is not pretentious at all.

Stayed here on our last night in Lima following a 2 week tour around Peru. On arrival we were immediately made to feel comfortable with a delightful ice tea concoction. Rooms are cleaned TWICE daily with a special bed turn down service every evening, tres posh!! Would definitely recommend to a friend, or anyone for that matter

During August I visited Peru for 6 days finishing my trip in Lima. Unlike on my arrival where I only had a few hours to connect between flights and stayed at an airport hotel on my return I had more time and decided to visit the Belmond hotel a second time after an earlier visit 12 years ago. I booked the Presidential Suite, directly located next to the Executive Lounge, which provided refreshments and beverages throughout the day. The room and service were commensurate to Belmond standards. I also frequented the hotel restaurant for a delicious Peruvian dinner.
