Reviews for Belmond Miraflores Park
For the day we were in Lima, we stayed at the Belmond Miraflores and it was an excellent hotel and venue. The rooms are good-sized and well kept (ours overlooked the Pacific Ocean), the cafe on the top floor by the pool is lovely and serves delicious breakfasts. As we are beginning our day of sightseeing in old Lima, we asked at the desk if we could hire a car and driver . . . Jose appeared within 2 minutes and was our guide for the day. He was excellent! He knew Lima's history, where to find everything, and could not have been more gracious about everything. There were the old mud temples that I wanted to see in Miraflores and San Isidro, and he took us there. We also arranged for him to take us to the airport the next morning. Late in the afternoon after we were back at the hotel, we took a walk in the nearby park which overlooked the Pacific Ocean -- this was a Sunday and many locals were there as well. All in all the Belmond Miraflores provided an excellent venue from which to see old Lima and to rest up from a long flight. We highly recommend the hotel. . . and Jose.

We enjoyed a short stay in Lima, made lovelier by the beautiful property -- rooms, bar and Tragaluz restaurant at the Miraflores Park. Top notch room amenities and service personnel, and a very convenient location.

We had an amazing stay at the Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel. We arrived very early in the morning on our flight from Los Angeles to Lima. We checked in and as expected, our room was not yet ready. Ken at the Front Desk suggested that we go upstairs and eat breakfast first while we waited for our room to be ready. We accepted his suggestion and had breakfast. We assumed that we would have to pay for breakfast, since we technically should not have been getting breakfast that morning. However, the breakfast was complimentary which was a wonderful surprise! After breakfast, it was still quite early and our room was still not ready. Therefore, Ken offered to take us to the Executive Lounge where we could shower and brush our teeth. It was fabulous to do so after the long flight. Overall, Ken and the Belmond Miraflores Park well exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be staying there again should our travels bring us back to Lima in the future.

Beautiful 11 story hotel in the best part of Lima. We were upgraded to a room with a huge round bathtub big enough for a party. Also our own sauna. The included breakfast was the the most diverse I have ever seen in a hotel. It is served on the top floor with a view of the city and the beach. The hotel’s restaurant is not to be missed. Super fresh seafood including the ceviche for which Peru is famous.

We had stayed at the Monastery in Cusco, one of the Belmond Hotels, when we visited Peru several years ago. After that, it was not hard to choose the Belmond Miraflores Park in Lima. Once you've stayed in one of these beautifully kept, with well-trained staff hotels it's not hard to choose them over and over. We were not disappointed. This hotel is located in the peaceful, waterfront neighborhood of Miraflores Park. Our room was spotless, with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean as well as the city. We had a king size bed, and our bath was roomy. It had a tub with a separate shower, a must for us! The staff makes you feel like part of the family. Breakfast was included, and it was superb. The roof-top pool is amazing with city and ocean views. This hotel also offers a gym, as well as a spa. To top it all off, we had dinner at their restaurant, El Tragaluz, and the food was outstanding. They also have a private car service which we booked to take us to the airport. The car was on time, with a very polite driver that knew how to avoid traffic. We arrived at the airport 30 min later, after being told by several locals that it would take us about an hour during the morning rush hour. On Wednesday night, they offer a complimentary cocktail party for the guests, which is a good way to meet other travelers as well as the managers. It was a pleasure to get to know and visit with Alejandro, one of the managers. He was very helpful, giving us lots of good recommendations about things to do as well as Peruvian food. We will be staying at Belmonds where ever we can find them because they make your stay a pleasure to be savored.
