Everything about this hotel is exceptional. Rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable. Tragaluz, the hotel restaurant, has a varied menu, attentive service, and excellent food. Location on a bluff over the Pacific is perfect. Best of all, and the thing that makes the Belmond Miraflores Park extraordinary, is the staff. They are friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. My wife became ill while we were in Lima and required surgery and a three day hospital stay. All of the staff were concerned and helpful. They even brought flowers when she was admitted and came to the hospital to help with her discharge. It is difficult to single any out, but Andrea and Alejandro were especially helpful. We will go back to finish our tour of Peru and we will definitely stay at the Belmond. By the way, my wife and I are both physicians She received excellent care at the Clinica Anglo Americana.

booked in for 2 nights although checked in at 4 am(night one), as a member of Bellini club upgrade if available(not available) also $200 per night credit for suite, 90 for room, we booked a jr suite, they call it a room, all "suite" hotel, and room was really just a room not a suite. Nice location, good service, my big complaint, is that at 6:45 we tried for a reservation at the only restaurant in the hotel, restaurant opened at 7:00, we were told completely booked. We ate in the bar(only other foodservice available) which was OK, but restaurant remained no more than half full through our dinner. I think it is terrible, my father and I each had a Jr Suite and they couldn't find their guests a table in an empty restaurant

Stop over following our flight from London so we didn't have many hours in the hotel. However, what you want after a long flight is to get to your room quickly with your luggage. Registration and all of this was handled very quickly with a minimum of fuss. Room for was very large and had great views. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with gluten free well catered for. I would recommend.

The Belmond Miraflores is such a lovely spot. Great views, awesome staff, delicious food, great roof top breakfast place with pool, shops, charming bar and the rooms are large. Bathrooms very nice with large tubs and great showers. Near lots of shops and restaurants, too. Hotel has Mercedes C class cars to take you around, for a small fee. Ask for an ocean view!

I think there were aspects of this hotel/staff that were great and some not so much. We stayed here for 3 days while traveling in Peru. We had a late flight and didn't have to leave for the airport until 9 PM and they assisted us with paying 1/2 the rate to have the room longer which was much appreciated. Their front staff when we arrived and checked in were great. It was difficult to figure out who were the concierge as I had confusing interactions with some of the front staff who weren't as familiar with the area. We had access to the club level which we were excited about however except for one person the staff we encountered were very rude and did not seem interested in assisting us even though we were usually the only ones there. The bar staff in the downstairs bar were exceptional and I couldn't have asked for a better Pisco experience. They were very easy ti work with to set up transportation although there was slight confusion when we had left the airport about bringing us back to get in a different car when we were already on our way. We had booked massages but we were not happy at all with this experience and would never go back. The gentleman, Freddie, was the worst masseuse I have ever encountered. His hands were freezing cold and I mentioned this and instead of rubbing his hands together to create friction and warmth he kept putting more lotion on me with his cold hands. They didn't use sheets but instead towels that weren't long enough to cover and keep my feet warm. It was incredibly noisy outside the spa which definitely made it challenging to relax. Also I have never had my stomach massaged and would have preferred the time spent on my neck shoulders. Again, there were good things and not so good things. For the price and the name however, I did expect more.
