This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms are updated, large and have comfortable beds. It's an easy to walk along the waterfront to the Larcomar mall for shopping & restaurants. There are other nice areas with restaurants in walking distance as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed delicious coffee in the Belo bar, as well as cocktails. Andre, the bartender, is a wonderful gentleman. Ask about having a "Pisco class" with him-it's informative and a lot of fun. The breakfast buffet in the rooftop restaurant is very fresh and has pretty much anything you would want. It's not close to downtown, but the Miraflores area is a very nice and picturesque place to stay in Lima.

We stayed here for the one night we were in Lima. It was very nice. The traffic in Lima is bad. It took almost an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. It's in a great location. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. They have resident turtles in the front that were fun to watch. We explored some of the walkway nearby. The room was comfortable. There was a nice bathroom including a quality walk-in shower. We were in an ocean view club access room. There were nice snacks and drinks included in our room rate. You have to go during a certain time in the afternoon, though. The pool area is nice although it was not swimming weather when we were there. The gym is above average. There is a nice selection of equipment for people interested in lifting weights. We had dinner at the restaurant on site, Tragaluz. The food was good. The service was a bit slow as the waiter was talking to his coworkers more than checking on the tables. But, it's very convenient and I would recommend. I am a really picky eater. The breakfast was wonderful. It's a buffet. There's a large selection of items. Meats, cheeses, breads, donuts, peanut butter and a lot of other randomly tasty things. The hotel was clean. We were happy we chose this hotel for our stay in Lima.

We booked an ocean view junior suite on the club floor. The room was large and very well appointed. I was surprised, and delighted, to find that the club lounge not only offered breakfast and evening drinks, but very good snacks and drinks all day; breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had an evening flight back to the UK and the hotel were very accommodating in letting us have a late checkout. The service levels generally were superb and the location next to a small park very pleasant.

Great Old World elegance in Lima, great location with outstanding service. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, personnel could not be more helpful. Great location, near big Mall with lots of franchise restaurants as well as local, good coffee shops and shopping. Although near a Mall it is a quiet location. Highly recommend. Great breakfast room on rooftop with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean.

Our first visit nearly two weeks ago found us stressed and tired after a 24 hour delayed flight from the UK, but we walked into an oasis of calm and care. The staff were amazing and although we arrived very very late in the evening the check in process was flawless, kindly we were upgraded to a better suite than we had booked and that afforded us a fantastic nights sleep before we had to return the next day to Lima airport for our very quick onward flight to Cusco. Due entirely to Belmond staff and The Miraflores, we were able to move on from what could easily have been a ruinous start our holiday. So here we are again in a fabulous suite, back at the Miraflores Park Hotel in Lima. We have had an action packed couple of weeks, but once again the oasis of calm at this hotel prevails. Once again Belmond staff have been fantastic, and again we were upgraded. The suites we have have had at the Miraflores park, have been supremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and well thought out. The beds are amazing, so comfortable. The linens divine and the bathrooms exceptional. All the products are beautiful and lovely little touches abound in the hotel and rooms. The flowers around the hotel are stunning and create a beautiful scent and visual ambiance, that complement the gorgeousness of this contemporary, modern hotel. I went to sleep with the sea roaring below , happy in the knowledge that I was being superbly well looked after. I cannot recommend this hotel or Belmond highly enough.
