Reviews for Belmond Miraflores Park
The hotel is located in the prime coastal area in Lima where affluence and great landscape are seen in abundance. Our room directly overlooked the Pacific coast. The view of rolling ocean waves and the beautiful coastline was heavenly that we just couldn't get enough of. The suite was luxurious in every sense, including an in-room sauna, which was so appropriate after a long walk along the shore on a late cold evening. The best part was the super attentive, caring and helpful staff, from the concierge to waiters to front desk to chef..... who give us our best memories of the place - my wife and I can't thank enough. The food is just A1, breakfast exceptionally wonderful, even for us vegetarians/vegans. There are luxury hotels in the neighborhood, but Belmond seems uniquely wonderful. This hotel is a must if you happen to be in Lima, and willing to spend the money for an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Belmond.
Top notch service from the moment we entered this hotel. Coming directly from Cusco and having suffered some from the altitude, this oceanside retreat was exactly what was needed. It is a good location in Miraflores with plenty to do within a walkable distance. We were informed upon our afternoon check-in that there was a minor maintenance issue with our room that needed to be addressed before we would be able to use. So, they escorted us to the club level lounge to relax and have some snacks while we waited, approximately one hour. We had not booked this level but can definitely see why one would choose to. Nice spread in a large, relaxing room with great views. It was much appreciated that they allowed us to use the lounge rather than having us just sit in the lobby. The daily breakfast buffet was superb with a large selection. The first floor restaurant (where we happily celebrated my 40th birthday), the bar, and room service were all great. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. There was even a sizeable dry sauna in the bathroom. The only (slight) con was that the minibar was not included. This is unusual at this tier of hotels in our experience. Highly recommend this hotel!

Located in residential area of San Isidro, this hotel represented one of the best of the excellent Belmond chain which includes the Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu and the unique Hotel Monasterio in Cusco. High marks for all three hotels, but the Miraflores was extra special because of the highly trained staff who make you feel especially welcome. I was given a room with a sauna, others in my group didn't have this so you should inquire. Complimentary breakfast was a feast, I asked where I could buy the special pinkish Peruvian salt which was on the table. I was given directions to the nearest store but, upon leaving, was given a bottle by the staff.

Truly a 5 star hotel. Overlooking the sea at Miraflores, this is a great place to stay in Lima. We spent 4 nights here and it really felt like home away from home. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were terrific - comfortable, spacious, huge bathroom, very comfy bed. The bar was well stocked and the staff were friendly and efficient. Great breakfasts. The pool was relaxing and the temperature was just right on cooler days. All in all we'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Lima.
A modern beautifully presented hotel. The lobby rooms are extremely tasteful but it would have been nice if they had given some local ambience indicative of Peru - you could have been in a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world. The location in Mireflores is good which is the trendy, upmarket area of town that caters well for tourists. It is an easy walk to the popular Larcomar area. To get into the historic centre takes quite some time though due to the very heavy traffic in Lima. Service at the hotel is exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. My bedroom was a very good size and overlooked the ocean. Linen was a good quality and the room very clean. There are plenty of powerpoints for charging electronic devices. Likewise, the bathroom was also large with a separate bath and huge shower. Its possibly the best shower I have ever had. The toiletries provided were of an excellent quality. The only negative was that the bedroom was not serviced until late afternoon one day. Touches such as refreshments being offered before you have even signed in, and assorted activitie for the guests were nice. Some required payment and others were free such as the cocktail drinks one night and the pisco sour making class another night. There is a rooftop swimming pool with good views and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
