There are not enough positive words in the English language to capture my feelings for Belmond Miraflores Park. In short: OUTSTANDING. From the moment we walked in until the moment we checked out, we felt so taken care of, but in an extreme way. It's hard to explain, but every single staff member exudes genuine warmth and kindness and really treats each guest like a valuable member of the Belmond family. We were first greeted by Ken, who checked us in after midnight. Not only did he have an amazing personality, but he made us feel immediately right at home, and you could tell that he's had plenty of experience in the luxury world. His customer service skills were unparalleled. Starving after a long JetBlue flight that consisted of only snacks, we then made our way to the bar for some real food. It was then that we met our next exemplary employee, Alejandro. He was so thoughtful and engaging, and made friendly conversation with us, asking where else we planned to visit on our trip. Once we said we were going to Cusco, he prepared us two bags to take with us: one of mint leaves for digestion and one of coca leaves for altitude sickness. This was completely unprompted by us -- he just did this out of the kindness of his heart. These gestures were felt and enjoyed throughout our stay... In the morning, we were lucky to dine with Milton who showed us top-notch service at breakfast. Even though cold beverages are self serve, he kept a close eye on our water glasses and made sure that they were constantly replaced, even without us having to ask. He also explained to us about the coca tea for altitude and cedron tea for the stomach, and gave some great recommendations on places to visit within Lima. The buffet, by the way, is UNREAL. Fresh, made to order items like omelettes, waffles and pancakes compliment sweets stations, organic cheeses, side dishes like veggies, bacon, quinoa and potatoes + there's even a table stocked with gluten free goodies. They left no stone unturned! We also had the pleasure of interacting with Enrique and Carlos at the concierge, Kenny at the desk and many others, and the 5-star service was consistent across all departments. Last but certainly no least, our room exceeded all expectations. We had a city view junior suite, but to our surprise there was a Turkish bath and full sauna in our bathroom. Crazy!! We took baths everyday. Such a treat! The amenities at the hotel are also breathtaking -- the rooftop pool deck overlooks the city and beach and is just so quaint and pretty. As the owner of a luxury travel agency, I have experienced what I can only hope my clients experience on their travels and will only send our guests to Belmond Miraflores when traveling to Lima. Heaven on earth!

This is no doubt the best and most beautiful hotel in Lima. Not only that, the service will blow you away, and it is because the staff is genuinely friendly and hospitable. Three people who stood out were Miguel (concierge & bell stand), Christian (Observatory), and Andre (Belo Bar). These guys all went above and beyond and created memorable experiences for us without being asked. They made my stay one of the best ever and I've stayed in a lot of famous properties. I hope to return some day. Thank you Belmond, especially Miguel, Christian and Andre!

This was the first time I've ever stayed at any of the Belmond properties and it certainly will not be the last. They have won me over with the magic that each and every experience had during our time in Peru (Belmond Miraflores Park, Belmond Monasterio, Belmond Hirman Bingham). First the Mira Flores property. Love the location. Walk-ability is just perfect. Listen to the sounds of the waves from the ocean views. The rooftop pool (heated). Zest spa (2 x 90 minute massages with Zest Freestyle were well worth the money). Walk along the path that overlook the cliffs and beach to find yourself immersed with people exercising, enjoying the many parks (Parque del Amor is excellent) and enjoy a drink and bite to eat at one of the several dining options at Larcomar (we ate at Popular for a quick bite of grilled pulpo and a glass of wine). Definitely do the "how to make a Pisco Sour" class (5PM) in the lovely Belo Bar! The entire staff is warm, friendly and exceptionally professional. We could all learn lessons from these folks. Day 2 we hit museums (start at Museo Pedro de Osma and buy a pass that includes MATE and the Contemporary Art Museum - all within walking distance) and then explored the Barranco neighborhood with the Bridge of Sighs, artists, foods and plazas. We had a late lunch @ Amoramar - what a hidden gem behind that big wood door. There is a car available to drop you off and pick you up from the hotel as necessary - it worked out great! Back to the Belmond - the beds make you never want to leave. The shower and bathroom are well done and a welcomed treat. The entire staff was incredible and did everything they could to make our stay incredible. You will never want to leave, but you will be super excited for your next Belmond adventure.

Having stayed in a Belmond property in Italy (Hotel Splendido in Portofino, which was indeed Splendido), my husband and I decided to try them out on our first trip to South America. First stop, Belmond Miraflores Park in Lima. First of all, let me say that Peruvian people are some of the nicest people in the world. And in the hotel business in South America, so far, they are without rivals. From the moment we stepped into the Miraflores until the moment we left, we were treated with kindness, efficiency and humor. We had a junior suite on the club floor overlooking the ocean. Great views and great attention to detail in the rooms. The club floor has a spot that is open 24/7 for cold waters, sodas, beer and snacks. Came in very handy after a long night of Pisco Sours. Speaking of Pisco sours, if you stay here, you have to take the Pisco sour class that is every night at 6. Andre was our great host and made us six different kinds which we all sampled. The showers are huge, great products, lots of outlets including USB and super comfy beds. The thing that stuck out the most was the service. To a person, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. One stand out is a rock star of a concierge, Sergio. He makes magic happen for restaurant reservations and one night he even walked us to the restaurant to make sure we found it. I highly recommend this hotel and you are also surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the world. Next stop, Belmond Rio Sagrado in the Sacred Valley

What an outstanding hotel! From the moment we checked in, until our departure 5 days later, we were made to feel like the most important guests in the hotel! All the staff addressed us by name (even those weâ€™d never met) and senior staff (hotel manager and guest relations manager) were visible and approachable. We had use of the executive lounge which provided tasty meals throughout the day (note to chef - there should be at least one vegetarian alternative each time!) and we could use these facilities from arrival until departure (even after check out) including wonderful showers. On our wedding anniversary we were presented with champagne, roses and chocolates, delivered to our room by one of the managers himself. The pool area was also great and the water was pleasantly warm. Definitely one of our favourite hotels and would highly recommend. Photos include breakfast display and the view from our room
