We spent 5 nights here and we keep referring back on how wonderful it was. Location is fantastic as it’s close to transportation, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. We went to Sintra for a day and the main train station was directly across the road. That station also had a Starbucks, lovely souvenir spot and a kiosk for the Lisboa card. All this came in handy. Upstairs from our hotel was a lovely Gastro bar, open late with sweeping views. The lobby had a big side space to lounge, have coffee or wine and pastries, available gratis for guests. The rooms were well appointed, loved the bathroom with heated towel rack and vanity supplies. There was also a Nespresso machine and minibar in the room plus complimentary water. The highlight for me was the friendly and helpful staff, who were multilingual. They were great!

Had a fantastic long weeekend with my husband and his sparetime job at Altis Avenida Hotel. The service was really spot on from we arrived until we left sunday, 4 nights total. It is a beautiful hotel at a great location in center with the train station a few meters across the street, here you can also take a Tuk Tuk tour or taxi. Shops, supermarkeds and restaurant just a few steps away. The hotel have a fantastic roof top bar with a great view, and it is also where the breakfast restaurant was located. Here we started with small delicious snacks and driks. I never liked tonic, but now I learned to drik Portonic, and it is really good in the summer heat 🍹 We are not really breakfast eaters, but there was a really delicious selection, fresh bread, fruit, freshly squeezed juice ect. and you could order the kind of eggs you wanted. While we came the day before my birthday and knew it would be a tight fit next morning, we arranged roomservice breakfast the next day. I said we did not eat much, but we got a big and very nice and delicious arrangement, and a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake with a candel while my husband boss had arranged. I never had that before, and everything was so good, so I was very supprised. I had to try some of the croissants, never had one that was so good :) That was an unforgettable birthday and it will be hard to top. When we came back from dinner the bar staff arranged tabel and chairs so we could all 14 sit out side at the Roof top bar and have a Nightcap in the lounge furniture :) The cleaning maids at the hotel was very effective. They came and clean after breakfast, but they also was in the room before bedtime to make the bed, close the blackout curtains, and did turn on the small night lamps at the bed. We stayed in room 2002 with a nice view on the balcony out to the street above entrance and close to elevator. Lovely and big closet for clothes, and first time that a hotel staff had put in the extra hangers that I requested in a e-mail…bravo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice bathroom, just could use some more shelves for my cosmetic ect. It was a really nice and very comfortable bed, 3 size pillows. The regular size was a little too high, and the bed only had one BIG thick duvet. So the first night I called reception to bring up 2 sheets, while I can not sleep with a thick duvet, especially at summertime. It was unfortunate, that the maid removed one of the extra sheet that I was sleeping with the next evening, and I had folded it and put it under the pillow. So I asked the reception, that the maids was not allowed to touch the bed, while I also had some used clothes, that they then just dropped on the night table :/ I also said, that I dont clean every day at home or change towels 2 times a day, so they could take it easy and use energy on something else :) :) We highly recommend Altis Avenida Hotel if you want to pay a little extra and have a great starting point in Lisbon. We stayed at the Altis Avenida hotel for 4 days fabulous hotel in a great location We had a room on the 6th floor on the corner of the building so had amazing views of the city with three lots of doors you could fully open with a stone balcony.The breakfast was excellent there was plenty of choice different cheeses eggs bacon fruit cold meats and the best Portuguese tarts The roof top terrace was a lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine or cocktail while taking in the views across the city and a sun trap but their was shade if you needed it.The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel with its luxury surroundings and a friendly staff

Perfect location for city discovery, super friendly service and excellent breakfast buffet. Stunning view from roof top terrace. We stayed here for 5 nights. Due to road closure around the hotel because of a marathon run taxis could not reach the hotel. But one of the service staff guided us with our heavy luggage to the metro station, which is very close to the hotel

We hosted a 180-person private event at Rossio Gastrobar and it was fantastic. The canapes, drinks and service were absolutely outstanding. Carla Vasco and her Team were incredibly flexible and professional, ensuring all our guests had a wonderful time.
