From check in to check out the staff are so courteous and helpful. The rooms are excellent and have all the amenities you would expect. Our room had its own private balcony overlooking the square. The electric blackout blinds are perfect for allowing a lie-in from the morning sun rise. Again the breakfast buffet has everything you need to set you up for seeing the sights of Lisbon and the roof terrace is a great place to wind down afterwards. The nightly visit of the “chocolate fairy “ is a great added touch. The recently opened “lobby bar” is a great addition to the hotel and the service and local knowledge we received from “Teresa” was a great plus to our visit. She is a credit to the hotel. We look forward to returning next year and seeing the additional new rooms and new 360 view rooftop terrace.

A pleasant stay in the heart of Lisbon. Friendly, warm & thoughtful staff. The room we stayed was good size and clean, toiletries, robes, slippers, good size towels and extra pillows were provided with a touch of chocolates from the service staff (Alice). Security safe, dryer, luggage stand, espresso maker, good size cupboard and drawers were in good standard even the number hangers were generous. Good size TV with good channel selection. Breakfast buffet were great from warm cooked food, choices of cereals, selection of breads and pastries to cold meats and fruits only room for improvement were the selection of drinks (no apple juice). You can also ask to cook something for you out of the buffet of food. But for me the breakfast was perfect and they have different warm food everyday so you don't get bored of the same stuff. The location of the hotel was very convenient. A minute or two from the buzzing Rossio square, shops and restaurants. Convenient transportation, two metro station with one situated just outside the hotel and across is the Rossio railway station. If i was to travel back to Lisbon again, I will highly likely to stay in this hotel again.

Just beside Rossio square with nice restaurants and nightlife in the hills in front and the castle and old city at the hills in the back and at the left side the city town with shopping and food and the sea. Near two subway lines also to the AirPort if you change station on the way.

I stayed for 5 days to visit the WebSummit conference. I've never met such friendly staff, they were so helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated, only thing I wished for was a long mirror, but I was able to get around that. Food was delicious, room service was fast and the nespresso machine in each room is a nice touch. Lovely hotel and will likely be back!

Ideally located next to Rossio station with many points of interest within walking distance. Despite the central location and facing the street this light sleeper had no noise problems and slept very well. Our 5th floor superior was a good size – not the biggest we have had - but it was in excellent condition and well equipped. It is not a large hotel so the place had a friendliness about it that you don’t find in some of the chain hotels – we found all members of staff were very friendly and helped us with directions, restaurants etc. Breakfast was served on the roof top and was good without being memorable. Overall it’s a good 4 star standard with friendly staff in an ideal location for those wanting to see Lisbon’s main sights. Note - The hotel is currently being extended into an adjacent part of the building but this had no impact on our visit at all. We only noticed a faint drilling noise when we popped back for a break during the day.
