Corinthia Hotel Lisbon

Staff & accommodations are top notch. Great restaurants. Quiet city area but not far from city center with shuttle running every half hour. Elevators are modern with key card providing destination, but during busy times the wait can be 5 minutes or more.

My wife and I visited The Corinthia Lisbon at the end of September. We mentioned to the management that part of the reason for our visit was to visit The Esardio Nacional do Jamor. The stadium has an exhibition showcasing Celtic football club commemorating the 60th anniversary of winning the European cup. When checking into the hotel they upgraded our room….dont think it was because they support Celtic! When we entered the room we were totally gobsmacked to see the pastry chef had made us an amazing cake commemorating the 60th anniversary of the team …“Their Lisbon lions” ….what a brilliant gesture…. That’s what I call 5 star service…. Just to add the cake tasted wonderful… to be honest we didn’t want to cut into it , but it was just too tempting ! The mini bus into the centre of Lisbon is very good it drops you off every 30 minutes , the drop off and pick at the same place.. Then to finish it all off after a busy day siteseeing and shopping in Lisbon the spa was great to unwind and chill before dinner. Can’t recommend enough, just great service all round.

Yes — I would phrase it as “I stayed in room 905” and make the elevator point sound polished rather than technical. From the moment you arrive, it is obvious that the manager of the Corinthia Lisbon is doing an excellent job. There is that wonderful feeling you find in the very best international hotels: everything works, everyone seems to know what they are doing, and hospitality feels natural rather than rehearsed. I stayed in room 905, and the entire experience was excellent. The service is truly what distinguishes this hotel. Everyone we encountered — from the concierge team to the staff on the floors and the various bellmen helping with luggage — was exceptionally kind, attentive and professional. There is a genuine desire to make guests comfortable and happy. I also particularly appreciated the security of the elevators. Your room key allows the elevator to take you only to your own floor, which gives a much greater sense of privacy and security than in many other hotels. It is a small but very reassuring detail. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and extremely well appointed. The king-size bed is wonderfully comfortable, and another detail I appreciated enormously was the excellent sound insulation. The rooms are incredibly quiet. Even in a large international hotel, once you close the door you really feel protected from outside noise, which makes an enormous difference when you are tired or recovering from travel. I also loved all the small surprises you discover once you settle in: drawers containing all sorts of useful accoutrements, a proper clothes brush, and even a Nespresso machine with authentic Nespresso capsules. These may sound like small details, but when you travel frequently, they make an enormous difference. You arrive tired from a journey and realize that virtually everything you might need has already been thought of. The dining is another great advantage. If you arrive exhausted and simply do not want to go out, you can have a beautiful in-room dining experience without feeling that you are compromising. The restaurants in the hotel are also excellent. And the spa deserves a special mention. The water spa is simply GREAT — beautifully maintained and, importantly, extremely clean. My massage was excellent as well. It is the kind of spa where you can genuinely spend time, disconnect and recover after traveling. There is a level of attention throughout the Corinthia that makes you feel genuinely looked after, from arrival until departure. Beautiful rooms, an exceptionally comfortable bed, remarkable quiet, thoughtful amenities, excellent restaurants, a wonderful spa and, above all, an exceptionally attentive team. For me, this is the place to stay in Lisbon. Highly recommended. I can also make this sound slightly more elegant and less “review-like,” as if written by someone who stays regularly in five-star hotels.

Enjoyed 3 nights here whilst seeing the beautiful sites of Lisbon. The hotel is stunning but what makes it is the staff. Every single one is tuned in to ensuring guests have the most enjoyable stay. What an amazing place. A little out of the City but they have a shuttle bus and Uber/Bolt/taxi are extremely well priced.

After a little trouble at first we calmed Down in the wonderful Skylounge with excelent service from the man in charge, Daniel.
