The staff provided a high quality service - courteous, efficient, polite and friendly, to the right degree. The room was spacious and well furnished - with a lovely bathroom (apart from the complex tap in the bath/shower which initially resulted in a cold spray on the arms!). The food was varied and of a high standard. The only downside was that for a hotel that boasted its business facilities (which were good) the room lacked a proper desk and easily accessible plugs for a computer, other electronic devices and working papers! But this did not detract overall from an excellent impression.

Too far out of the action in Lisbon. Rooms dated and definitely not a five star hotel. Taxis or metro was required to go anywhere. Staff not very friendly and rooms were serviced very late in the day. The only plus was that breakfast was very good with an excellent choice. Stay closer to the Baxia district and walk everywhere.

Really good service from all the staff at the Hotel The service provided by an excellent team of staff in the executive lounge In particular Daniel who was very attentive to all our needs and despite being a large group he remembered our individual preferences for breakfast every day Nothing was too much trouble Great team at the executive club keep it up Will definitely be visiting the Corinthia Hotel group again great experience made our stay very pleasurable.

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day stay at the Corinthia, which proved to be an exceedingly good choice. The hotel had a huge number of pluses and only minor downsides. Most hotels of any quality provide good service, but I think the Corinthia went well beyond expectations in this area. Staff seemed genuinely warm in their welcome and desire to solve any issue to 100% satisfaction. The other major plus was the location. The Sete Rios overground was just 300yds away and provides easy access to Sintra etc, (the latter being well worth a visit). The Jardim Zoologico metro station adjoins Sete Rios and provides cheap and easy access to the heart of the town. Additionally a bus stop for an open top ride, (Tagus circuit), is just 500yds away from the back of the hotel. The Jardim Zoologico itself was definitely worth a visit, by the way. I would highly recommend the breakfast where just about any food you could expect was available. We filled out boots every day and didn't need anything until the evening. The Tipico restaurant was first class and bar very relaxing. The only minor gripe we had was the air conditioning failing to function on the first night. We mentioned this and the problem was rectified straight away and we received a very nice complementary bottle of port. Our hotel and flights were part of a British Airways travel deal and i would highly recommend that whole package as well as this hotel in particular. £735 all in for 4 nights for 2 people seemed a real bargain for a hotel of this quality.
