Decent but not Execetional
Decent 5 star hotel. Terrible food and service in the main/bar restaurant. I don't understand why some purportedly top hotels offer premium services (for premium prices) and do such a bad job - it leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. They'd be better sending you somewhere local as doing something badly does them a huge discredit, or making sure their services are in line with the standard of the establishment they are seeking to run/advertise. I was also at a conference with about 150 attendees. They served a standing buffet lunch two days in a row, which was a complete charade as it was impossible to eat stand and drink. There were a few token bar tables to which the conference attendees flocked like moths to a flame. It should have been clear to someone that more tables were needed and that a sit down buffet should have been organised. Outside of the restaurant and bar, the service was wonderful and the hotel gardens were beautiful.

Beautiful Place and really lovely staff
We had the most beautiful experience. This is an amazing hotel where staff like Elizabeth and Tiago really make you feel very welcome and are so helpful. We highly recommend this hotel for a very relaxed get away! It's located about 20 mins from the centre and has frequent public transport close by.

A Stunning Palace Experience in Lisbon
I had a wonderful stay at Pestana Palace Lisboa. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with an amazing and elegant design that truly makes you feel like you are staying in a palace. The atmosphere is luxurious and unique. The breakfast was great, with very good quality and excellent variety. The wines were also outstanding and among the best I have experienced at a hotel. Although the hotel is a little far from the city center, it is definitely worth staying there for the overall experience, comfort, and beauty of the property. Overall, a fantastic and memorable stay.
