Pestana Palace Lisboa

Our stay at Pestana Palace was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality. The hotel itself is breathtaking, full of history, elegance and beautiful gardens that make you feel as though you've stepped into another era. What made our stay so special, however, was the incredible team. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive and professional, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. It is the people who make this hotel so exceptional. A very special thank you to Elizabeth, whose care, warmth and kindness made our visit even more memorable. She looked after us with such genuine attention and generosity, and we are so grateful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Nawaraj bartenders and waiter staff were excellent. Palace very clean and beautiful inside and out. Room service very tentative. Would highly recommend

I love this hotel The staff are amazing The building, grounds, location, breakfast, rooms and facilities all amazing. Pools fantastic. Easy and cheap to get into town it’s only €6-7 by uber. As recommended by concierge. Literally the only tiny bother during our stay was that the loo falls off the holder in the bathroom everytime you touch it. So if that’s all you can find to complain about, all is good! Everything else went far far above and beyond. There is even a special hair towel in room, not forgetting the port and Natas on arrival.

Stayed for 5 nights in a deluxe city view room. Had a small terrace which was welcome but no view. The room was very comfortable but lacked a mirror anywhere close to a plug socket. USB sockets on one side of the bed and not the other. Breakfast offerings were very good however we ate outside and struggled to get coffee replenished and dishes removed. More attention needed to maintain the standards this hotel is aiming for. Grounds are lovely and staff warm and friendly. Late afternoon pool complimentary poolside snacks were a nice touch. This hotel is close to public transport but quite a long way from Lisbon's main attractions and not a pretty walk.
