The Marriott has recently undergone a renovation and the lobby and rooms are clean and fresh with hip, modern decor. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to area attractions and restaurants. I especially enjoyed my room overlooking the river with it's beautiful bridges.

Stayed here for business. Check-in was very efficient including valet parking. Percy helped me to my room with everything. He was outstanding. The room was beautiful and everything worked. Noise levels were okay and I didn't have any trouble sleeping even though there was a lot of foot traffic in the hotel. Didn't have to wait long for elevators. I had plenty of hot water; although other co-workers who were one floor down from here said they did not. Room service is extremely limited for what is touted as a full-service hotel. They have only one restaurant that is very expensive and menu is not diverse at all. Practical options like sandwiches are very few. If you want room service, hope you like paying $50 per person. To get a reasonable meal, you have to walk outside of the hotel. My only other complaint is parking. There is a very long wait sometimes for your car when you're trying to leave. Plus, the front desk failed to include parking on my incidentals bill and the valet manager in the red shirt was very rude about it. They make you swipe your credit card again at the valet stand as you are leaving to pay for your parking. Very inefficient. The valet drivers were very friendly. The valet managers at the stand wearing red shirts are not at all. While I love the rooms, I will probably look for somewhere else just to avoid the parking mess here.

I am sure this was once a great hotel but it looks and feels past its refurbishment date. The first room we were given had had a smoker in which is a real challenge to clear the smell as the widows are that hotel sealed type! The second room was better but still smelt stale. Pillows are personal bug bear for me. They were really cheap and crappy but on request some far better ones were provided. Why not start with the better ones? I hope it was a one off but we were subjected to no hot water. Some like a cold shower before work but not me. The staff however dealt with it well in the circumstances. Not a bad hotel just needs some TLC.

Airport van to the hotel was fast and efficient friendly driver. Check-in was was fast but when I got to my room key wouldn't work. Went back downstairs front desk took care of it right away with friendly service. Someone was already in the room given to me. They gave me a new room which didn't take long. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. Overall good stay good location.

Dissappointed in Marriott Downtown Little Rock. Arrived with 3 other co workers for one night. All three rooms had tepid water in bathrooms. Managers fix was to let water in shower and sink at same time to try to get hot water to 5th and 6th floors. Let run for 45 minutes and finally gave up and took cool shower. I was told issue would be fixed in am, so I stayed in the room. Issue was not fixed, apparently GM Joe Piccolini has water temps for all rooms turned down, and employees have no access to adjust. I was lied to twice about getting hot water, but was offered a key to a room on 10th floor, that would have a hot shower....absolutely ridiculous. I am a Marriott Rewards member, my co worker is Gold level, never had anything like this at another Marriott. Do not stay here, management is terrible, trying to save pennies, yet wasting gallons of water irresponsibly, by having employees "fix" issue by running water from both faucets...never gets hot. Mr Piccolinni is deceptive, and does not deserve your business. I am reporting him to my company to move his hotel off of our list. We all deserve better.
