I was there recently as part of a convention and I have to say it was less than what I expected from a Marriott experience and I am happy that I only had to pay a group discounted rate because I certainly wouldn't have been happy if I would have had to pay full fare. This poor old girl is truly tired. While there are certain updates (newer carpet in my room) everything else in the hotel seemed worn and sad including the staff. To be clear the cleanliness, quality of the food, all of that was above average. But no one on staff, especially the wait staff in the bar and restaurant seemed to be happy there. There was and air of "the beatings will continue until morale improves". I don't know what else to say except that there are comparable hotels (price wise) near by and if I have to stay in downtown Little rock again, I will probably chose a different hotel

I’ve been to a lot of Marriott properties and this one has very good amenities available on-site. Located in a part of town with a lot of options for dining and things to do. Probably one of the nicest rooms and views I’ve had in a while. Food at the restaurant was amazing, The concierge room was well stocked for breakfast…there were just a lot of easy amenities to choose from. Will definitely stay again.

Came for a Monday-Friday business trip. There was a conference happening during my stay, but the property was big enough so that I didn't feel claustrophobic or crowded. The hotel was able to upgrade me to a higher floor with a beautiful river view, and the room was spacious and clean. I bring earplugs whenever I travel, but every night was so quiet that I didn't need to use them when I slept. Possibly due to the higher number of guests though, the mandatory valet took a while. Request was done through a link, and it was best to start the request the car 20-30 minutes before actually needing it. The lounge was elegant, like I needed an ascot and smoke a cigar while I was in there. Breakfast reminded me of what you'd find at long-term properties, but there was someone (Sandra!) available to make sure nothing ran out and everything was fresh. Location was downtown, conveniently near many good restaurants and attractions. Across the street was a lovely park to stroll along the Arkansas River. Fun fact: this used to be the Peabody where they marched ducks, so if you're on a higher floor and look down, you can see pictures of ducks on the top of parts of the hotel!

The location is great. Ira close to most Little Rock attractions. The staff were all nice helpful, professional and friendly. It represents the Marriott brand well.
