We stayed at the Oberoi in Lombok from the 5th to the 9th of May. This is absolutely a great place and i highly recommend this hotel. If you look for a secluded and peaceful place this is where you should be and one of the best one of Lombok. The hotel is very well maintained and decorated with taste. We really enjoyed the villa number 217. Special Thanks to the manager Mr Imram Sultan and your team. You do a great job and i am looking forward to coming back again!

We spent five days being absolutely spoiled in the most heavenly atmosphere at The Oberon in Lombok ! We were met at the fast boat by the wonderful Panji Aki (from the Oberon) and whisked away in comfort with cold towels and cool water to the hotel . We were chatting about the commerce of the island when Panji told us that their farming included specialised pearl farms ........... I asked if we could see any , he took us en route to the hotel to a very large , modern government certified store . The pearls were superb , needless to say I gave way to temptation, Some strands that I chose needed alteration to my preferred length , Panji dropped us at the Oberoi returned to the store , and delivered my choices to our room within an hour . This set the standard of service for our entire stay . The 13 hectares are immaculately groomed and so peaceful, our room was large ,cool and elegant . We particularly loved its veranda and made a point to watch the sunset over the water every evening from it’s great vantage point. The pool was superb , pristine and very long with lovely comfy day beds . Sayu and Harry made everyday special ! We were so spoiled by them making sure we had umbrella shade, cool drinks ,fresh fruit and delicious lunches . We enjoyed hearing about their lives and families ( Harry did your daughter do well at her singing competition?) and one day I mentioned how much I love Daha Daha Bali , Sayu disappeared for a few minutes then returned to tell me he had spoken to the chef and that I would be having it for my desert the following night !it was totally delicious!,, In fact every meal from breakfast to the treats left by your bed each night were superb ! The head chef was so well trained and the menus were varied and fresh , every morsel was marvellous ! High lights included the spa ,superb! And our day snorkeling and touring the island with Panji. A big thank you to the kitchen for providing a delightful picnic lunch for our day . From the general manager down every single staff member was kind and so extraordinarily considerate ,making our stay one to remember and to repeat as soon as possible !!! With much thanks and appreciation and best blessings Virginia and Charles

Hard to add to the many other 5* reviews but here’s our experience of the terrific Oberoi, Lombok. Complimentary upgrade to superior villa on arrival. Impeccable hotel grounds, gardens and lawns to wander round. Delicious lunch & tapas food delivered to your sun bed. Excellent dinner options at restaurant in the evening. Unrestricted, fast WiFi access across whole site. Superb attention to detail (flower decoration in rooms, turn down service with fresh ice, water, slippers by bed etc) Unbelievable views across the infinity pool out to sea Direct beach access & snorkelling right off private hotel pier Unforgettable sunsets Super quiet & peaceful, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind Inexpensive day trips to nearby Gilis on private boats (half a day snorkelling with tropical fish & sea turtles cost 1M Rupiah for two people incl. all kit) We stayed 3 nights whilst on honeymoon, so there were perhaps some perks for us that other guests wouldn’t experience. E.g. twice during our stay, guys working at the pool bars prepared and decorated fresh coconut drinks for us (an example in the photos with this review). Even if coconut milk isn’t your thing, the thought counts! At the Oberoi, the staff remember your names and where you come from. They’re interested in you. They genuinely care. Hary and Sayu at the pool bar and restaurant couldn’t do enough for us. Dedi who took us out to the Gilis was polite, friendly and chatty - checking frequently that our excursion was going how we wanted and that we were happy. The head chef who came to speak to us on our second night just to check we were enjoying our meals, and offered to prepare something off the menu for us if we had any ideas. The assistant manager who personally arranged our check out and ensured we got to our boat transfer on time when our driver was late. The service levels are next level, and this is why the Oberoi gets five stars from us. For a luxury beach break, can’t go wrong!

This review is long overdue as we stayed for five nights as a family of four (2 young children) in October 2017. The resort was beautifully cared for in all areas- absolutely pristine from the rooms to the outside areas. The staff were friendly, professional and were extremely good with our two small daughters. The pool area was beautiful. At around 1m 40-50 the pool is quite deep when visiting with very small children but we managed around this. As the hotel was very quiet at the time of our visit we secured one of the lovely cabanas on each day of our stay which felt extra special and was great for keeping the kids in the shade. Food quality was excellent- amazing cooked to order breakfast and delicious evening meals though with the hotel being quiet only one restaurant was open and the menu didn't change from one day to the next which might get a little boring if you were there for an extended period. Room service food equally good quality. Small gripe that we were charged for food and milk for our 9month old which had not been the case at the Oberoi Mauritius. Found out after completing feedback form that we were charged in error so a bit annoyed I didn't raise this at the time but they promised to educate the staff on this point. Great massage at the spa and reasonably priced as well for the nature of the resort. Huge selling point for this hotel is its wonderful peaceful location which is just what we wanted: a tropical paradise away from it all. In this respect (and in service and style) we felt the Oberoi Lombok stood head and shoulders above the Oberoi Bali where we spent one night immediately after this in transit. We would warmly recommend his hotel and would gladly stay here again.

My boyfriend and I booked two nights at the Oberoi after trekking Mount Rinjani, and honestly we could not have made a better decision. We arrived filthy from our trek and did not feel at all judged for it. The Oberoi is a little piece of heaven - it is a quiet resort with impeccable service! The staff go above and beyond to think of everything including cleaning sunglasses, changes thermostat in room to Fahrenheit for us, leaving bookmarks on books, etc. We did not have airfare booked for our next destination, and reception booked us airfare to Komodo and recommended hotels in the area. Also - the spa was incredible! Highly recommend The Oberoi for a quiet place to completely unwind.
