The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

The Oberoi is an amazing resort, perfect for a couples getaway. It's a bit remote, so make sure you're excited to spend a decent chunk of time at the resort itself. That being said, it was also easy to arrange a taxi into the nearby towns to visit local businesses and hire a boat for snorkeling. The food at the Oberoi is a highlight, especially the huge breakfast every morning. The dinner is also phenomenal. All of the staff were very friendly and helped make our stay great. My one gripe: The hotel laundry service is about 20x overpriced. The going rate for laundry services is around 6rb IDR per kilo. If you do laundry through the resort, you will pay 30rb IDR per SHIRT. The final bill was shocking.

The Oberoi is beyond exceptional. The villas are amazing, food incredible ands the staff continuously go above and beyond. Nothing else compares in Lombok - if you can stay for at least a few days and you wont regret it.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. All the staff are so kind and friendly without being overbearing at all. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is incredibly well maintained. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the cleaning and turn down services were great. Small touches like leaving fresh fruit every day are an additional treat. The pool is gorgeous and the ability to go swimming/do other sea sports is great. We had two dinners at the restaurant, both à la carte, delicious and reasonably priced. I’d like to pass on a special thank you to Ozi for being incredibly helpful in helping us organise car hire. All in all a fantastic stay, I hope to be able to come back again!

The Oberoi in Lombok leaves nothing to be desired. Outstanding service, great food—everything was, and is, simply perfect. For us, The Oberoi in Lombok is one of the three best hotels we have ever visited. It is a little paradise.

The perfect place for those who seek an outstanding location at the Bali sea with an excellent service. We stayed 7 nights in the two bedroom ocean villa with a pool and we enjoyed a magnificent holiday. The property of the resort is quite large and creates a garden atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and very clean. The private pool was quite large. The entire staff is extremely well trained and is focused to deliver exceptional service to each guest. Before arriving at the resort, we weren’t so sure about eating 7 days á la carte but the menu was larger than the one on their website and they offered on two days special theme buffets Indonesian and Indian style. The food was of high quality and nicely presented. The resort offers a number of activities. We snorkeled at the house reef, went on a snorkel trip by boat to the Gill islands, did a sun downer tour by boat and went also diving. The drive from the Lombok airport to the resort takes bout 1h45 minutes but once arrived the holiday can be begin.
