The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

An amazing Hotel, rooms are excellent and the food was like a Michelen Star restaurant

We stayed there again recently, returning after 15 years. I don't know why it took us so long to return. Our stay was perfect once again, from the very start to finish, everyone looked after us so well. We were welcomed so warmly by Tanmay, the GM, and Arman, and we were escorted to our upgraded accommodation by Dolina. The warmth, the care and their friendliness immediately put us onto our relaxing mode, in this home away from home. Throughout our stay, team members stop by to say hi and the little chats really showed genuine care of our wellbeing. We tried many of their activities as well, i.e. afternoon tea, mini golf, snorkeling with fishes at their jetty, bicycling, massage at the Spa etc, we were very busy filling up our days and was so sad when it was time to depart. Time flies too fast in this beautiful slice of paradise. Best time for us was at breakfast in Sunbird, where we sat for hours enjoying the meals while watching the calm ocean view. We departed feeling fully relaxed and pampered, we will not wait too long to return again! For anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing holiday, be well taken care of, experience true heaven on earth, you have to stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok! Highly recommended!

Staying at The Oberoi near Medana Bay was a beautiful experience. It is the perfect place to relax while staying close to where my sailboat is anchored. The infinity pool and the views over the sea are absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. I also enjoyed a wonderful spa treatment that left me feeling deeply relaxed after life at sea. The food was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every day. What made the experience truly special was the team. Everyone was so caring, warm, and personal. They made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere of the resort is peaceful, elegant, and full of heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. The staff all knew our names and were extremely friendly, in particular Ali and Andini in the restaurant and the beach butlers. Nothing was too much trouble with special arrangements made when we had missed an activity for a staff member to provide it at our convenience. A special shout out to the older beach butler (forgotten his name, apologies) who dealt with my unusual behind the scenes request. The resort was the best we have ever stayed in; the food was delicious and the waiting staff were all aware of my allergy and advised what I could not eat and adapted where possible. The housekeeping staff were also attentive. There were beautiful sunsets each evening towards Gili Air. We were thoroughly spoilt during our stay and received a complimentary massage treatment in the spa. Would love to return. Alex and Sarah Edmunds

I went with my wife for a week. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and it’s exactly what we got. The hotel gardens and rooms are beautiful. The service was kind and friendly - many of the staff remembered our names very quickly. The food was excellent. Full board makes sense since there are not many alternatives around. We enjoyed a nice snorkelling trip to the Gili islands and saw some turtles. The gym was good enough with treadmills, a bike and weights. Very nice treatment spa. Overall a really lovely relaxing stay.
