5 star resort and service - perfect for relaxing
From the moment we arrived, to our last day - we were impressed with the helpfulness & friendliness of the staff. We stayed in an Ocean View Pavilion, which was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered nice views over the sea. The food at the resort was delicious and beautifully presented. While prices are on the higher side by Indonesian standards, the quality and service is next level. A special mention goes to the chef, who was wonderfully accommodating and happy to create your favourite meal even though it wasn’t on the menu—an incredible personal touch our last dinner at the resort very memorable. One of our favourite touches was the daily “Happenings” newsletter delivered during turndown service. It highlights the next day’s activities, many of which are complimentary—kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling, horse riding, yoga, art classes, and even afternoon tea. It’s a nice way to plan your day and make the most of everything the resort offers. We loved that the resort is away from the hussle and bustle - it gave us time to really relax & slow down. We were worried that a week May have been too long - but we actually didn’t want to leave, we loved it that much. The concierge staff were very helpful with booking a day trip around the island and a day trip to the Gili’s Overall, The Oberoi Lombok exceeded our expectations.

Paradise!
This was our second visit and the whole experience, from start to finish was amazing. We loved our villa with a pool and the housekeeping team were exceptional. The food at breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality, choice and value. Thank you to all the friendly and hard working staff. Everybody always had a smile. You made our holiday. Thank you.

Great enjoyable stay overall.....
1) Location is a little further from expected - 2 hours from the airport but in a very nice setting 2) Great atmosphere for couples especially 3) The pavilion rooms are comfortable for couples whereas the villas are probably more suited for young families 4) a little more expensive than earlier expectation - but good value
