The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

Our stay at The Oberoi Lombok was simply wonderful from beginning to end. The resort is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views at every turn. The beautiful tropical gardens, the peaceful atmosphere, and the incredible ocean views made it feel like a little paradise. Our room was spacious, elegant, and full of charming Balinese character, while still offering every comfort and luxury we could wish for. The pool area was spectacular, and we spent many relaxing hours there enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with delicious food and attentive service. What made our stay truly exceptional, however, was the warmth and kindness of the staff especially Andini and Roy...Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sayu and Harry at the pool, who were always very friendly and attentive, to Faisal for making our dinners so enjoyable, to Ahmed and Ozi at reception for their professionalism and kindness, and to Ketut for an outstanding spa treatment that left me feeling completely relaxed.and big thanks to the housekeeping tean for the good service One of the things we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. We enjoyed simply relaxing there so much that we hardly felt the need to leave. We also loved hearing the call to prayer from the nearby mosque, which added a unique sense of place and a touch of local culture to our experience. The Oberoi Lombok is one of those rare hotels that combines luxury with genuine warmth and hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and are already planning our return next year. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to come back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a Perfect Star again (3. time). The Hotel Arrangement, the Roms and especially the staff members are exzellent. Breakfirst and breakfirst area are great. We do have absolutely nothing to complain. The Beach is very small but lovely and swimming is fine, also snorkelling from the Hotel Jerry is very good.

Well, believe it or not this is not a sponsored review, but maybe it should be! We just spent an amazing 7 nights at the Oberoi Lombok, the setting is just perfect, 24 secluded acres with 50 individual rooms or villas. We had a Garden View Villa with absolute privacy, nobody could see into our villa, with it's 2 private courtyards and dining area, and the fish ponds and sunken marble bath! The staff are amazing, if you do a multi-day deal as we did it comes with all sorts of nice extras like included breakfast and dinner, and several tourist experiences in the area. Oh and our own personal driver, with airport pick-up and drop-off as well. Our regards to 'Han', an all-round fantastic guy. We have traveled quite extensively in many 'exotic' places around the world, and we would put the Oberoi Lombok right at the top of our list. If you pressed us for any small gripes, not in any way the fault of the Oberoi, it would be the 'call to prayer' at about 4.50am that echos around the area from a town nearby, the other 'calls to prayer' we've experienced in other Muslim countries have lasted for about 3-4 minutes, the Indonesians for some reason (in Lombok anyway) go on for 30 minute or more. The Oberoi does provide ear-plugs, which is about all they can do in this situation. As I say, not their 'fault'. The other grip was a very noisy bird (apparently a 'Night-jar) which used to sit on our nice thatched roof every night at about midnight and have a conversation with another one who 'resided' somewhere else in the area. Cute but annoying. But neither of these things would make me hesitate for 2 seconds about another stay in a lovely area, with lovely people. Yes, there are cheaper options, but I'll bet there are not better ones. Thank you Oberoi.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff and food fantastic. Great little reef just off shore where you can spot turtles and many fish. Would definitely recommend and return
