51 Buckingham Gate is not merely a Hotel, it is a luxurious indulgence with the care and warmth of one’s home. Signature Taj hospitality…..’Tajness’ is so very living and evident here that the departure becomes a somewhat difficult moment, it’s like when you don’t want to wake up from a beautiful dream. Here, the product and the team come together in a melange to heighten every minute and glorify every moment. The location is ideal for a central London visitor, the property, majestic and elegant from the Victorian era, the accommodation space is overly generous and luxurious and the remotest wish at one’s beck and call. The team and members are endearing, extending what one would expect from family. The GM, Mehrnavaz Avari, a dynamic Hotelier and graceful lady leads the team from the front to ensure nothing short of excellence! The Hotel Manager, Joy Joby is omnipresent and available on or off duty to fulfil every wish and need of the guests, whatever it may be. Joy is true to his name and an unshakeable pillar of this great Hotel. Executive Chef, Sujoy Ghosh is a culinary magician with an army of very competent chefs and team that never fail to delight the most discerning palette. The dining experience is par excellence and constantly innovating as well as evolving. The young and vey competent F&B executives, Urmi Sharma and Samriddh Taneja bring high energy and fresh ideas to add their invaluable ideas and maintain the high standards set for and by this great Hotel. My only minor observation and suggestion was to further augment the breakfast experience that could be further fine tuned and improved in service as well as offerings. Can’t wait to be back at 51 Buckingham Gate to relive and relish the legendary hospitality by a legendary institution and it’s team, that is like extended family. Thank you Taj🙏🏽

We stayed here for 6 nights in a spacious comfortable mini suite, it had a kitchenette if we wanted to cook. Also a washing machine etc we arrived very early from our long haul flight from Australia & management very kindly let us access our room earlier. The staff were very helpful & friendly. After walking all day for a few days in a row we came back to our room to find two big golden bowls with rose petals & bath salts in, ready for us to just add how water how thoughtful. It was these little touches that were really nice. Also the location is very good too. Thank you Taj.

We had a beautiful stay at the Taj, with a complimentary upgrade and the staff going above and beyond. Aditi was amazing. The hotel is beautiful the breakfast was also really nice highly recommend. Thank you and we would love to come back with our children.

This was our second stay at Taj Buckingham Gate in the suite/apartment. We immediately felt welcomed again like we were returning home. We were greeted by Matthew who is kind, generous, humorous and always ready to offer top-notch class service to us. Jon Magee at the concierge desk is thoughtful in finding places to visit and in offering high-level friendly service. In fact, all of our interactions with the staff at the concierge area were superior. Just like our last visit, Mohit goes above and beyond professionalism for his guests time and time again. Superb service on his part. Amit was also extremely helpful, and Jermin was always ready to provide outstanding service. Marina and everyone at reception were wonderful during our long-term stay. Abi, and other servers at the Taj Kona restaurant provided excellent service, and the Taj has a very lovely breakfast and buffet. Arjun, at the Wellness Center/vitality pool consistently provided us with what we needed to create a positive, relaxing experience in the spa area. Housekeeping was impeccable each and every day. We fully appreciated all their thoughtfulness. The housekeeping staff anticipate your needs - i.e. we did laundry in our flat and they left us a drying rack without us having to ask for it! Amazing service. The Taj's hospitality is an A++ and sets the gold standard for how all hotels and serviced apartments should operate.

We enjoyed a one night stay the day before attending a royal garden party . All staff at the hotel were marvellously helpful . We loved our beautiful suite , and enjoyed a lovely meal in the TH 51 restaurant . Very happy to recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay in a prime location . X
